- Through the magic of video editing, Porkins survives his brush with death when he CAN hold it. He then goes on to save several of his fellow pilots, as well as take out Darth Vader and the Death Star.
Also, some Y-Wings fly upside down.
Actual/canon background for Jek Porkins:
Jek Tono Porkins was a male human trader and pilot from Bestine. He decided to abandon his homeworld after the Galactic Empire moved in and developed a new military base there, and he ended up joining the Alliance to Restore the Republic.
In 0 BBY, Jek Porkins flew an X-wing starfighter for in the Rebel Alliance Starfighter Corps during the Battle of Scarif. The battle ended with the theft of the technical readouts for the Death Star, a moon-sized Imperial battlestation.
During the Battle of Yavin, Porkins flew a T-65B X-wing starfighter as part of Red Squadron, where his callsign was "Red Six." When Garven Dreis ordered the destruction of one of the deflection towers on the surface of the space station, Biggs Darklighter and Porkins both destroyed it with their starfighter's laser cannons. Porkins' craft struck debris from the tower and began to malfunction, causing him to drift over the Imperial turbolaser batteries mounted on the surface. Ignoring Biggs' warning to eject from the craft, Porkins was killed almost instantly by ground fire.

Garven was probably a better pilot because he flew a T-16 Skyhopper, a Z-95 Headhunter, a R-22 Spearhead and a BTL Y-Wing asides the T-65 X-Wing. Jek was a T-16 Skyhopper champion though.

Porkins was actually just like Luke, he flew a T-16 and was epic, and he didn't care much until the empire took over his home. If only he actually had the force, he would be as good. Looking back, Luke nearly died three times!

freeriding666 leia was carrying Luke's child for 15 years. Which means Rey and Kylo inhabited the same womb for 9 months in 5 ABY. Rey finally finished development in 15 or 19 ABY and was born. She now has over 2 Billion midicloriens due to taking 15 years to develop as opposed to the standard 9 months.

Is anyone gonna do the same thing for Biggs Darklighter or Wedge Antilles? The problem for Jon Vander, Davish Krail or Dex Tiree is that the targeting computer is different to the X-Wing ones.
Wedge would work well because there's multiple shots of him both in the trench and flying over the Death Star. The Y-Wings don't really get screen time outside of the trench, which is another issue with using any of those pilots - I'd probably need to pull in cutscenes from stuff like Rogue Squadron II/III to pull that off
@@btly-wing6531 I did both. One that is like similar to this for the time Wedge did it. One that is almost half of the battle with only Biggs, Wedge and Luke in their attack run only having either Luke or Wedge (who were providing cover for Biggs) almost killed but saved by Garven and he destroyed the Death Star. I also had the audio of Obi-Wan saying "Trust your feelings" and "Remember, the force will be with you, always" with a close shot of him for the time Biggs did it.
It's good but I'd still have Garven Dreis destroying the Death Star.
