  • About 120 metres to the west of the Neptune Caves at Watcombe Bay, there are a pair of caves in the face of the Freshwater chalk cliffs. The east one is the larger of the two and is about 46 metres long with an entrance, about 6 metres wide. Once through the entrance, the axis of the cave veers eastwards such that it is parallel to the cliff face. This cave is the longest and tallest of all the Freshwater Cliff Caves. At the end of the cave is a beach made up of flint pebbles.
