I think the biggest mistake they made is coming out saying Ghost 2.0. I think what they thought we would like him or but the fans of O. G Power will never be cool with Tairq shooting Ghost. Now what they should have done was allowed Tairq the build up his street smarts, body and level up is fight game. And as he was able to grow and become more wise in the game, then they could say like father like son. But right off the bat, no way they've been pushing so hard to try to turn Tairq into Ghost which most likely he would not be, he wasn't raised in the streets the way Ghost and Tommy were, him or Brayden. They both came up to little rich spoiled kids soft as baby food they have not faced going hungry, having to hustle to eat, to survive that's why Tommy and Ghost are completely from different from Tariq. This is what gave Ghost the edge he could seamlessly blend into two worlds like he told Simon Stern, "I have to constantly transform to meet everyone's expectations". "People take you at face value," when they see Tariq, they know already that he comes from money and that his at trying to be street isn't fooling anyone. That's another reason Tairq and Brayden don't have the respect. I think the show has gone about trying to force Tairq and Brayden into the next Ghost and Tommy all the wrong way. And if Lorenzo and Monet, even Kane and drew if they are in the streets as deep as they claimed to be, and have the respect on their name as they do, there's no way they don't know who Ghost and Tommy are, their names are synonymous with the streets.

To us the audience and Tariq, his inheritance is gone. I'm almost positive that Ghost set something up for a "just in case" moment. I still don't understand how Daniel was even able to pass it over to the Westons. I thought i was the only one who thought Carter and Paz knew each other from a group. I agree that Riq is at confict with himself in the sceen at truth. He'll have to let go of his ego in order to fully become what he despises so much of his father. It's the only way he'll be able to defeat Noma and the Tejadas. He's beginning to see why Ghost had to make the moves he made and why Ghost tried to keep him out the game.

Nah, Diana will be dead within the next 3 episodes. IMO, the only safe character is Davis. Anybody else is on the chopping block (Tariq included). However, Diana is absolutely going to die 100%. It's being foreshadowed already. It's inevitable.

Power Season 6 Ghosts perspective we never saw him hit the floor when he fell off the balcony in slow motion the screen went dark which we never got to see what really happened. Now in Tariqs perspective he saw his father shot but assumed his father died, Tommys perspective, Tommy "saw Ghosts last breath" which could easily been "a coma" or part of his plan was to "fake his death" which is also why Ghost told Tommy "let him go" not to kill Tariq why? Cause his plan was to take care of Tariq later on after Tariq learns his lesson if he took the street route. I do believe when Ghost returns we gon really see what really happened the night Ghost was shot in Power. Ayy Terry in BMF was shot in the face and survived, Franklin in snowfall was shot on his back 3 times by his girlfriend and survived, Meech in BMF was shot in the chest just like Ghost and survived, Tommy got shot for the first time in Force and survived, they can easily bring back Ghost if they wanted to, he also remains the face of Power what that mean? Clearly he coming back

I honestly think that the scene with Tariq at truth is a hallucination and that episode might happen in Episode 5 which is called “Ego Death” he could be haunted by his past decisions.

Maybe this is where we will see Ghosts return. Like how Professor Milgram showed Tariq the phone during the dream sequence and said his father was calling. This could be where he comes face to face with Ghost who now meets his new son (the old soft Tariq now being gone).
He could be dreaming and in the dream he could now see himself as his father and realizing who he really is he might suffer the same faith as his father

I think too much is being read into the you’re just like your dad comment cater seems like the type that hounds his prey into making mistakes. I also don’t think the connection is that deep either I could see them meeting at grief counseling or knowing each other in passing through her son. As for ghost I’ve always said ghost is dead as long as stars keeps holding out on Omari but with 50s new studio deal. Ghost is dead. I gave up on the writers bringing him back. Especially after the cancelation of the show. I think they are going to kill Tariq saving his mom and maybe others as well so his character comes full circle
