Nothing like new headlights. For those getting ready to replace theirs. Pro tip, do them at night. Why? This way you can align/adjust them with the stock lights. If you replace the drivers side you can adjust it to match the passenger side then vice versa.
Couple of details. The 3 seals/gaskets are important to keep the water out of the parking light assembly. Neither of my local auto parts stores could find them or a part number. The water rusted a socket where the bulb had broken. You need to clean the terminals and use dielectric grease.
@@arield.9823 Yes. The new housings aren’t adjusted when they arrive. I’m not very experienced with that part so I adjusted them using trial and error until I could see well at night.
I got these on RockAuto. Super affordable. One of them was retaining some moisture and I drilled a tiny hole in the exterior of the back of it and the moisture issue has been resolved.

I appreciate the explanation of everything even tho it’s common sense it’s still nice
Thanks. Common sense isn’t always common anymore.
Older vehicle manuals used to tell u how to do the timing . Now they have to tell u not to drink gasoline lol
Where did you order the replacements? What brand are they and how are they holding up?
