It's fun exploring the possibilities of the Firebox Stove! It's simple design lends its self to versatility and adaptability. Who knows what other hidden features are yet to be discovered?
The Firebox Stove makes camping fun! Not only can you easily cook up delicious meals and enjoy the ambiance of a wood fire! You can be creative, exploring ideas of new ways to use it!
Thanks to all of you who have shared your idea's and thanks in advance to all of you yet to discover new and fun ways to use the Firebox Stove!
Totally functional feature on a cold camping trip. Make a hot brew, keep it warm, cook the veggies keep them warm and still have a place to cook the main dish. I love it. Glad I got those extra fire sticks.
They sure do come in handy, I am glad you got them too. Little features like this make the stove even more versatile. Thank you for the comment and for being a part of the Firebox community. Cheers Jan!!
Ingenious, thanks for sharing! Having a warming station is awesome. It would be good for food wrapped in tin foil, this way part of your dinner will stay warm while the other is cooking!
Jacqueline great idea, if you need it it's there for you! Thanks!
That’s really a good idea so you can keep your other food or coffee warm while you cook with your pot or pan it’s amazing the way people think and with this large group of followers you have an opportunity to pull from so many different paths of thought truly amazing well done people and thanks Steve for passing it along to the rest of us
I have been the proud owner of a Firebox for about a week now and I continue to be amazed at the versatility of this simple stove. I never thought I would get this excited about a camping stove. Either I need to get a life or it really isn't just me. Anyway, you guys keep up your awesome work! Greetings from the Netherlands!
Thank you so much Rene! I'm so glad you're having fun with your Firebox! Learning all the fun things it can do is in part what makes it entertaining.
You can use a couple small metal tent stakes to hold down the firebox preventing from tipping over.
Lam Nguyen very good! I've actually done that with prototypes and it is extremely effective at stabilizing!
Lam Nguyen thank you, I should do a video about that!
Small rocks will do

Got my firebox today
😎👍
Excellent stove.
Very sharp edges /corners though.
5 mins with a small file sorted it out. Fantastic product. Thanks.
Thanks to all the customers who came up with these ideas for the rest of us! This is turning into an acceptable cooking station for myself, my wife and the boy. Well done to you all.
I agree 110% 👍😊😎
Dude, I don't even own one of these yet but have watched close to all your videos just because I like to learn about functional gear and just good content. Thank you for making another cool video. I REALLY enjoy your backpacking vids. You've given me GREAT ideas for food when I catch trout next time I go out. You rock!
that__one__guy thank you so much! I'm so glad you enjoy my videos and appreciate the gear I make!
Agreed 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
I have 3. There welll with the money. I use one at for my BBQ.
same
Right! This guy is awesome!
Thank goodness . . . thought I was going to have to buy an extra pair of nano sticks for my 5" Firebox Stove to implement this warming tray feature! Thank you (and Troy Phillips) for sharing this information with us.
Thank you for watching William, glad you enjoyed it! It is an amazing feature for the stove for sure. Have fun out there!
Thanks for sharing this video with me.
Wow this Firebox has evolved into incredible things! I remember years ago first learning about the BushBox, then the Firebox came around. I thought it's pretty good but didn't have a titanium box! 2-3 years later Firebox had Titanium! And the inventions of other people to make it better! This video shows how amazing the FIREBOX is! Years later people are making it better which you never thought of. The ingenuity on this device is amazing! Can't wait to see what else I can do with this STOVE:)
I own two of Original/full size Firebox stoves. A) they are fantastic and will absolutely change your camp cooking experience! B) Pertaining to this video, get a box of heavy duty paper clips and a pair of pliers and you can easily fashion hangers for the warming rack concept.
Thanks Mike! Sounds like good advice to me 👍👌
Thanks for sharing this video.
Such great ideas raising the versatility of the FireBox to the next level. I really like the idea that without adding other accessories than those coming with the FireBox it's possible expand the cooking/heating surface.
Laurent Gouzou AKA Lynx1963 I'm glad you like it Laurent!
It is amazing at the versatility, design, and engineering of the Firebox Stove and the various accessories that can interchange for all the uses! After watching literally hundreds of videos of yours and others, there is no other that holds a candle to its durability and versatility. The only negative that's ever mentioned in the hundreds of videos I've viewed is the weight factor of the 5". And, now, you've addressed that with the NEW Titanium 5" just introduced. So happy to say I was able to get one of the first 100 and look forward to using it over the years to come. Thank you for all you've done to improve and engineer the Firebox Stove to be the premier stove of its kind on the market.. Awesome product!!
Thank you so much for the kind words 🙏
Excellent observation and implementation! AND using what comes right out of the box. Really cool!
That warming tray idea, it epic. To keep my coffee warm, it can also be used to make toast, the possibility of that warming trays can expand the versitility even more.
Yes I agree, people have even baked potatoes using this. Thanks for the comment!
Very very cool! So versatile! Thanks for sharing!
rockett outdoors thanks Rocket!
Thanks for sharing your video.
Steve. When I’m using the olicamp windscreen that I got from FireBox. I sometimes set the fire sticks from the top of the windscreen across to the FireBox holes. Makes a great place to keep my coffee on cold mornings when I’m cooking the rest of my meal.
alf3553 very cool! Sounds like some good improvising!
Mabey you can toast some bread like that to. Awesome.
Thanks so much! Even 5 years later I'm learning from your videos.
I'm so glad you find them useful Bruce 👍😎
That's slick! It would be a perfect place to gently warm a burrito, keep a hot drink from losing heat, gently heat a can of beans, lean a slice of bread to make toast, place some dough to rise... Lots of possibilities!
in most circumstances it would probably be to hot to just raise dough, I believe it would work great for every thing else you mentioned
I guess we'll see, I imagine people will be trying all kinds of things! Thanks!
Fantastic!!! I can’t wait to try this out.
Such a simple thing with profound benefit! Well done firebox community! 👍👏👏
Thanks! Valerifon1
now that IS a cool idea .... warm 2 cook one ... that makes the firebox a lot more useful to camp with ... perhaps firebox will do something to make it an included feature of the stove now too ;)
Wow, great place for my coffee mug...
😋
Lucky, Mary & Kali yes!
Excellent demo with superb, up-close video captures. Great share!!!
Thank you MK Outdoor Adventures!
I love my firebox stove, it's in regular use at my allotment and on my wild camps too. It's not lightweight but it's well built from heavy gauge stainless steel, superbly designed and engineered. I would highly recommend this stove. Great to see another feature !
Thank you Briggs! I appreciate your endorsement I'm so glad do to hear that my products bring you some enjoyment 🙏
Love this feature! Couldn’t quite figure out how to use the fire sticks to accomplish this, thanks for this video! Can’t wait to try it out!👍
Awesome, so glad you found this useful! 😀
How did I miss this. Yea there are times I could use a warming tray. This is perfect. Thanks for the repost or just my luck finding this video. Both Fireboxes are awesome, really enjoy them.
Thank you Ralph, that is very appreciated. The warming tray option is awesome to have, glad you found it.
Always a pleasure to watch your videos thanks
Dave Boo thanks Dave!
Never knew this existed, stumbled upon your excellent site by accident but now watch all the time. Fireboxstoves seem like a great idea especially where the ground is frozen or is heavy with peat. Keep up the great work. Thanks
Thank you, I am glad you found us and enjoy watching the videos!
OMGOSH! I’m sooo excited to know this! This is a great way to keep toast warm, while I cook my eggs etc... 👍😃

Chris Dorris Lol, yes, I say it's the gift that keeps on giving! Thanks!
This is great to know. I can try it out with my Black Friday purchase! Well I broke down and took advantage of your great sale!
That is awesome, so glad that you were able to get a great deal.
Too cool! Can't find another stove that even comes close to the versatility of the Firebox. Firebox lifer. When I'm done with it, my descendants will use and then give it to their children. An airlume quality piece for sure!🔥⛺
Thank you for the kind words and feedback, that was great to read. So glad you are enjoying your Firebox gear and will be passing it on! Thanks again Brian!
I really would love to have one of these! Super cool.
Wow! You couldn’t have planned that any better!
Off to the backyard to give this a whirl. Thanks for the tip!
Evan Cross thanks! Let us know how it goes.
Love it. Now you need to start selling the individual pieces so we can build and explore like mechano
Yeh, thx 4 showing 2 creating how 2 use the firesticks bcuz I dont have the nano stove. The warming trays make the Firebox more versatile during camping. Thx 4 sharing on Utube.
Finding all the ways to have fun with the Firebox stove is a huge part of its charm. There are other ways you can rig the extended grill plate and grill plate up higher using the horizontal slots. Just know that almost anything is possible and start trying different things till you find what meets your style of using the stove 👍😎
More fun things to try! Cool!
Thank you. I couldn't quite get it right but now I have it down.
You bet, thank you for watching!
you can also use the pegs/stakes that go with the trangia stove kit.
Very awesome! Love all your videos, hope to see some backpacking/fishing episodes soon, they are always the best.
me too! I can't wait to get back out there! Thank you so much! Michael M
I'm glad you had that update at the end of the video because I don't have a nano, yet just the 5". Thanks.
Josh The Machinist LOL, yes and, you never know what you'll be able to do with this combination of parts!
coat hanger works just as well or welding rod
Nice Presentation.
You’re a good marketer. Could the side warming pots just as easily be propped up onto flat rocks to catch that side heat?
Freaking Awesome!! I was going to be a Bio-Lite Camp Stove but I'm leaning more towards this one here with all it's little goodies!!
That is awesome, you will love it. Thanks for watching Johnny!
Awesome and versatile which is always a plus. I’ve been researching what would be the best stove for me when I start day hikes and walks and the versatility of this piece of gear is makes my decision must easier. Thanks
Thanks! 1life1mind1soul Channel

Thank you for the kind words, I appreciate that. Cheers!!
I ordered 2 of them for my buddy and I :) I can't wait I love the video, I have got so many great ideas for the stove.
That is awesome rollinthedice! You guys will love them! Have fun out there.
Paused at 4:20 :) into the video, I haven't used my Gen2 5" yet, I tell you it's going to be fun figuring out all I can do with it. With the grills attached it gives a person loads of space to keep stuff warm while continuing to cook be it water or food. For people who enjoy cooking multi item meals this is awesome, it eliminates the need for a full campfire or carrying a 2nd or 3rd pack stove. Up until now I've always carried two backpack stoves if I was planning on eating and one if I was just going to bring a add water meal. The more I watch the more I'm glad I got one. Back to the video, cheers
Thank you for the amazing support, it's truly appreciated! Have fun out there with your friends and family making delicious food! 😋
Yo Steve just received my firebox stove looking forward to using it! My son came up with a good variation of that warming feature.where you take you ash pan or the nano tin put it under the warming tray and stack hot coals on it .havent actually tried it yet
zeke sundown good ideas! Thanks for the feedback!
How are you applying that heat to a vacuum sealed double walled container without it bursting ? Or is it single walled
That was Fantastic! Thank you!
Darignobullseye I'm glad you like it thanks for commenting!
Fantastic stove
Thank you Gary!
Something more. I like it. Thanks for your stove and all the adventures we get to see.
Thank you for watching and the kind comment!
@@fireboxstove good gear is hard to come by and i enjoy my G2. will be picking a nother set up in the next few weeks. keep up the good gear. thank you...
I appreciate that support, it means a lot.
Cool! Will be interesting to see folks explore what can be done with these "shelves."
Random Button Pusher yes! It will be interesting. I've already had one person say "why not put hot coals below them and cook on them as well."
I love this stove system!
Thanks 🙏 James!
helooo from algeria ( north africa ) so cooking in Nature is beter life 👍👍
Thank you for watching from Algeria!!
appreciate this is an old post but Ive recently purchased a G2 Firebox Camping Stove but using the original firesticks doesn't work on mine for the side warmers at the bottom. Is it different for the G2 version?
It should work but I can't communicate with you through comments. The system just doesn't work that way. Please contact via customer service during business hours so we can get you taken care of.

Some great ideas, I'll be trying this on my firebox
Jeff Buzzard awesome! Let us know how it goes. Thanks!
Truly innovative! You don't even realize the genius in that head of yours Steve, until customers bring it out lol. If this doesn't turn one into a "Fireboxaholic," nothing will!
Canesser Lol, the Firebox is like artificial intelligence it just keeps learning new tricks! Thanks Clint!
LOL! Nothing like it in the whole wide world!!
great tips
ben terwellen thanks!
Thanks awesome ideal
So awesome 👍👍👍👍
That's badass. This setup with the UglyTent hot tent idea would be epic!!
Thanks for watching!
great tips!!
Ralf Paßgang thanks Ralph!
AWESOME!
Dude I just bought mine and cant wait to try it!!
Thank you, I hope you enjoy it. You should let us know how your first burn goes. Cheers!
We all need a personal company that we can do these great thing's that we can write off against our own personal debt.
Brilliant!
Christopher McKellar thanks Chris!
Thanks for the tutorial. Key seems to be the bump on the pointy end of the fire stick. Works well with three of my sticks, but the fourth has a much lower bump, almost like a production mis-strike, so be careful to check your sticks before doing this.
You can also use the Nano sticks here: www.fireboxstove.com/nano-sticks?search=nano. They work great for this application. Thanks for watching Richard!
Sweet! Always thinking!
Pinetree Line Outdoors thanks!
That is brilliant !!...Thanks for sharing
Kijika Life Thanks Mike! (It is Mike right?) I'm so bad with names!
Nope ...Wayne lol !
Just a thought,
What if you had some extendable pieces to go through the bottom of the firebox stove as support to offset the tipping capability.
Love the design.
Looking to purchase one when they're back in stock.
That's a good idea. Best to place your order to save your place in line. Typically we get them in and they go to back orders and never get marked in stock. Lol. At least not very often lately. 👍
May put a block of wood under tray, may solve stability problem and at the same time , dry the wood up.
Alex Lam yes! That would certainly work! Thanks!
BRILLIANT, Alex, so simple, so clear !!
Dang...
Freakin cool !!!
Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed it.
Damn... Another great idea.
marco sandoval LOL, I know right! Fire box is the gift that just keeps on giving!
Хорошая идея!
This is good idea!
Thank you, it works really well.
Good to know how to do more !
Thanks Roy!
Too much fun!!!!
I agree, thank you!! I appreciate you watching and commenting.
on the cup warmers you could toast bread if you angle it towards the heat with pieces of wire to hold it in place also hot dogs or vegetable s.clipped on there.
Yep it works great for that too, thanks for the suggestion and for watching Michael!
A magnetic close for the pouch will be great, snap bottom tend to become lose over time.
fullporaport thanks for the feedback! Will certainly give that some thought!
Great tips. What pan handle are you using to pick up the canteen? Looks longer than the trangia handle
Thank you Rob! That is the pot lifter that we sell on our site, you can see it here: www.fireboxstove.com/pot-lifter?keyword=pot%20lifter. Cheers!
Firebox Stove great thanks! About to order a Gen 2 firebox so I'll get one of those too!
Thank you for your business! I think you will love your stove. Thanks for watching!
Great versatililty.
Roarmeister2 thanks!
Put flat rock in the stove make that more stable. Mug near stov also keep your drink warm.
or opposite side rock balance the stove.
Garrett1979FIN how bout just use a flat rock and wood to do all that was done and get rid of that junk... just saying. :-)
I'm definitely going to try this👍
It works great, let us know what you think!!
Wicked awesome.....so steve when are we going to get an attachment for the firebox that will act as a flame arrestor and will help it ventilate better than using the ash pan?? Thanks.
secretsquirrell13 I've played with the idea of spark arrestors but at the end of the day they just restrict the airflow too much.
Firebox Stove i see that....what about a heat powered fan to help air flow and exaust?
secretsquirrell13 if forced air is introduced you need to design it for that additional heat. IE thicker material possibly cast iron
Great stove
Thank you so much!
Such a smart piece of gear.
R. Lynch thank you!
I've gotta get me one of these stoves.
They really are great to add to your kit!
Especially the coffee press makers
