I actually ended buying the S&W m350 and 10” BFR in 460 at the same time for really good prices. I really like the 350, I did observe concussion of the round stings my face bit and it’s got a heck of a bark. I love it nonetheless. The 460 on the other hand has a skinny single action style grip and moves a bit in my hand and kicks my @$$, I have the S&W 500 with the 8” barrel and vertical compensator I have really come to enjoy shooting and I am very accurate with it, but the 460 has me looking forward to the point when the hammer drops on an already fired cylinder. Maybe a better grip might help but for right now it’s probably gonna be getting a lot of 454’s and 45 long colt’s instead. I’m 6’ tall 230 lbs in my 30’s with some large very meaty hands and I still find it very unpleasant.
I have this same pistol and suspect a manufacturing issue with mine. I cannot, for the life of me get a loaded moon clip to fall in freely, and if I coax it in, getting the fired brass out in one cluster is IMPOSSIBLE. I plan on sending mine back to Smith.
I'm assuming you cleaned the cylinder really good already. Sometimes a little carbon will make ejecting difficult. Others hopefully it's a warranty issue and they'll take care of it for you.
The 350 legend is a straight wall cartridge specifically designed for hunting in states/counties that require a straight wall cartridge. 350 wsm and 350 win mag are both necked cartridges.
