Just twist the arm slightly by gripping the flat part of the arm close to the attachment joint. twist in millimeters until the blade is perpendicular to the windshield, then you get the correct "flip-flop" effect of the blade on the glass. No need for creams, gels, waxes etc
"I am not particularly happy about it". Most dentist line I've heard all year! xD Great video, good infotainment!
another great video! Gottta bring that Yamaha down to Oklahoma and get 3 more months on your season!! LOL
I saw a review by very a reputable youtuber and he couldn't hit the side of a barn with that Henry 357. Henry took it back and sent a new gun. They never reported what the problem was. After seeing that video, I wouldn't want anything to do with that revolver. The Ruger however has always been a solid revolver. Even with the big ugly "Man Sized" grips.
Do host ja wos gscheids kauft😂😂😂😂
great review - thanks..
Lmao use your firearm correctly and you wont have a problem. A high point over that 😂😂. Worst gun i have ever owned i will never own another but iam gonna keep this one. 😂
If you cut your spring and follower you can get a 10th one in
I have since cut the spring. Mostly for easy of loading.
I haven’t had the vehicle very long, I have been familiarizing myself with the car. 2016 2.4 L ,2x4 . Was in the middle of a high speed interstate trip 3-400 ish miles round trip the other day when the front Left started having a little metal on metal sound.didn’t quite catch it in time!darn it!!The got basic set of pads ,43 bucks,(65+ for the same with the parts you didn’t use,so skipped wasting that $)On my car, the OUTSIDE left pad is the culprit. Never had a indication of a problem. No squeal,no pulling to one side…straight to grinding..probably going to be doing job twice. I don’t have the money for rotors right now. BUT I will be keeping an eye on them in the meantime. The previous owners were BIG PEOPLE. Couple was a over the 925Lbs combined weight limit,on long trips,a lot! Any way. Thx. Going to be concentrating on the front left suspension especially. The daily driver (wife)was the biggest of the two. Better get after it. Hot one today in NC. Triple digits w heat index.ugh..ps. Can you get away with turning the rotors (once )on these?or are all modern rotors heading to the trash in this situation??
It will depend on the condition of the rotors. Typically they can be turned at least ones. Although in some cases, new rotors are comparable to turning them price wise.
Quick question. I just opened my new filter and it says the logo should face the inside of the lid / exit side of the filter. Based on that and how my old filter was dirtier on one side than the other, shouldn't the filter be flipped over since its a directional filter? Just wanted make sure i was looking at it correctly before i put it all back together again. Thanks
I found the lateral thrusters to be enough for me
That gun is all about killing. The 454 is """Death"""...!!! Rossi's are a gun like the old lever 99's and 1895's. Everyone who owned them said exactly what you just said. Now they are worth more than they ever paid for them like worth twice to 3 times. If you get a lever gun and like it out the box it's a garbage gun. It will not last. The ones that suck brown water and is the worst gun you ever bought. Will also be worth #3 to 4 times what you paid for it. I know I collect guns. And own several Rossi's. I have the 16-inch 44 mag and it's my trail and Mountain carry. It only holds #6 rounds. But it's like carrying a Daisy bb gun lol. Everyone who has handled and shot it, have also bought one exactly like mine. My advice is to shoot that gun often and push those bullets and if you hate the sites change them. But keep that rifle. In time you'll love it. 454 rifles are extremely rare. Rossi had a waiting list for over #2 years on that exact model. Sometimes advice is all you get, that may be worth something...!!! If it were me I'd only load 8 rounds in her. #1 round of 454 will kill anything that walks the earth, so the other #7 probably won't ever be needed. As far as the recoil, she is a thumper. But you'll start liking it , I first shot my 44 mag it scared me. after a while it grew on me, after a while I loved it. Still do. It's a gun thing. Peace.
Enjoyed the video, I do have a question. Is it okay to shoot +P ammo with this gun?
Yes it is. Almost all 38 super ammo is marked +P to make sure you don't shoot it in the the older .38 ACP. All modern 38 super pistols can fire 38+P
@SmoknJaysGarage thanks for the info my brother. It is greatly appreciated
When did the hearing come back?
I'm expecting it back any minute now...
What's your powder and charge for the 45-90? I just bought one and would like to build up a load. Thank you, Alan
I bought those, they are not hand loads. Sorry
Just watched the whole video now that I know you wouldn't die...lol. Great job. Next time try to get a second camera for the POV you guys had.
I'm ok in a single engine boat, but single engine planes scare me.
I had talked to my instructor beforehand, and made sure I wouldn't die. So it was all good. 😁😁
Very cool Smokey! I've been following you for a while and am a pilot myself. Most recently, I designed the cockpit for the Supernal eVTOL.
I had to Google that...but very cool!
I have more chop on lake st Clair here in Michigan. I could run wide open with my 275 XDS with those waves. If you have the money look into the seakeeper ride system. I wish it would fit on my Yamaha but it won’t. I’m looking into the zipwake system for myself.
If the sea keeper won't fit your 27' then I'm pretty sure it won't fit my 24'. Keep me posted on the zipwake though. Not a fan of the price, but the reviews seem good.
@@SmoknJaysGarage it won’t fit my 27 because the motors are too spread out and there’s not enough room between the jet and the end of the hull. It fits the 252 so it should fit your 242.
6+1 how? I’ve heard of people fitting 5+1 but not 6. That ammo oal must be pretty short
I don't have a boat anymore
Looks like pt Barnum was right! There is a dumbass born every minute! Oh that was supposed to be sucker.
So! If a front shock nut won't come off using a little wrench on the top...here is a better plan than the sawz all. Get out that pipe wrench..grab onto that upper tube and gitter done. I just did that today.
Sawzall is faster...and I'm not saving the old ones for anything. But pipe wrenches are good too. 😆
@SmoknJaysGarage I have an 86...Sawzall room wasn't working.
Just picked up my 07 Z06. It came with the Corsa Sport. I've never been a fan of the Corsa tone and am considering the S-type.
Corsa is a popular option, but I personally think Borla sounds much better.
Not the same test when you don't run same direction.
Did you actually watch it? I did run the same direction and the pedal commander loses every time
Not scratches on loading gate but transfer of soft brass to hard steel. You’re all good.
this looks so simple dimple w ur instruction- i’m really just nervous about my back drum breaks 😭
You can do it 😃
Yes you can do it !
I own 2 Limited Series Take Down Winchester (Miroku) 1886's in 45-90, 26" Octagonal barrel and love them. Mine both have the crescent butt plates though. My favorite rounds are 500 grain powder coated round nose bullets stuffed in the Hornady (short brass) LeverEvolution brass pushed along via some Reloader 7, and they are truckin at about 1300 fps. I have also gotten them down below 1000 fps and still split logs in half. Shooting more of the 45-70 means more cleaning and inspection for gas cutting and such. Because a 45-70 bullet exits a little before a 45-90 you may have more fouling and possibly some restriction when you go back to 45-90 rounds. Gotta get yourself some MP molds with the Hollow Points and try them out...I think you'll be pretty excited at the results. It's not until you start blowing stuff up that you get a good picture of it's potential. Paper is fine but get yourself a inexpensive chronograph so you can at least get some kind of data while just throwing lead at paper. You have a very nice rifle with lots of potential, bring the videos... Have fun, be safe.
Jay SEMPER Fi! great Vids.. question where did you get the center rudder? Thanks
The center rudder (articulating keel) is now standard on all yamaha boats. I don't recall the year off hand that they changed the hull and added the rudder.
It will make it faster
If you actually time it, it'll make you slower.
Were your only issues with the rifle the recoil and and the feeding? If so, I can't see this being a fair review. As others have mentioned you were causing the malfunction by trying to jam too many bullets in the tube. That's gonna cause all sorts of feed issues if you do manage to get that 10th in the tube
Recoil was really more of an observation, not really a complaint. I was out yesterday giving it another try after cleaning up all the burs on the bolt and receiver. Never loaded more than 4 rounds, and it still jams all the time. So I'd say my review was fair. And I stand by "This is the worst gun I've ever shot"
I like this one.
I am a Jeep Master mechanic, and me and the boys are just shocked watching yer video. Keep it up champ!
Thank you
Cool of you to comment. 😊❤
Now we're talking! smash the like button on this one
Awesome mate, thanks for sharing.
I have the R92 in 454 casull as well and its had a number of issues in less than 100 rounds. if anyone knows how to fix the common issues i'd love to know.
What issues are you having?
@@RookCustoms at first it would just cycle rough, but then the little lift just completely stopped working. I actually just sent it to Rossi cause it had a warranty
' the motor vehicle must use a shift '' N '' as neutral with a trailer boat while slow down ramp to the water... dont use a shift '' R '' as reverse... ' must put 2 amber yellow lights on the motor vehicle and the boat trailer for safety without problem
If you leave your vehicle in neutral, it will lock your trailer breaks. Your tow vehicle MUST be in reverse when backing up a trailer with surge brakes. And idk where you get the yellow lights, but no one does that either.
@@SmoknJaysGarage hi S... ' dont use 2 words '' YOU / YOUR '' on me... explain about this 2 vehicles
Be careful when you open your break fluid cap the seal fell out and landed somewhere in the engine and I tried turning the car on and it didn't turn on it said on the dash (Low Oil Pressure) I used a ziplock sandwich bag on the cap and it worked.
Can you screw the piston in by hand
I can't....maybe someone stronger than me could. I would say a tool is required though.
This guy is a train wreck. He doesn’t know how to use a lever gun at all. What a cry baby!!
I suspect you have a semi-buckhorn. The purpose of a full buckhorn is to use the upper ears for long range like a crude vernier volley sight. The semi will give you some of that effect.
Nice rifle; however, very hard to find.44 Magnum ammunition In California!
There may be some online places that will ship to CA
Hello.. where can I buy the side carpets?
Jetboatpilot.com
That's a nice looking gun.
Great info. Bring a new boat owner, this is exactly what I needed to see. Thank you!👊🏽
Congrats on your new boat.
Good 👍🏻
Holy screaming fucking bald eagle
Its like a 350 WSM or super mag!
The 350 legend is a straight wall cartridge specifically designed for hunting in states/counties that require a straight wall cartridge. 350 wsm and 350 win mag are both necked cartridges.
@@SmoknJaysGarage I just meant it's like a hotter 357 mag
@@WalterWild2 a lot hotter! Over 800fps faster.
Compare the Smith with the Marlin SBL,,
I have this same pistol and suspect a manufacturing issue with mine. I cannot, for the life of me get a loaded moon clip to fall in freely, and if I coax it in, getting the fired brass out in one cluster is IMPOSSIBLE. I plan on sending mine back to Smith.
I'm assuming you cleaned the cylinder really good already. Sometimes a little carbon will make ejecting difficult. Others hopefully it's a warranty issue and they'll take care of it for you.
