The keirin is inherently unfair for the ones further back. They should overhaul the game, giving the ones further back a negative time handicap with the one at the front given none whatsoever.
Still people who get those positions win. Like in the world championship this year (Kevin).

They win because they are noticeably better than the others. That's like a half second difference between the first and last person at speed, which is massive.
