  • In this video, I give my personal opinion on the Pride Auto LLC Q50 Q60 RWD transmission mount and provide an understanding of durometer as well as what shore hardness is. The video includes a drive-along right after the install on my boys' red sport and a review 1000 miles later on my car. This video took me a while to research and edit, so I hope you guys like it.

    A Zilla I was telling you about my Q60 Redsport awd full bolt on but not tuned. I was having wastegate rattle I took my car to the dealer with all my mods and they are ordering the drivers side turbo. They said they will replace the drivers side first and if the noise is still there I will have to put all my stock parts back on so they can diagnose the problem better.

      Hey, that's great. Hopefully, it resolves your issue.

    Need more stuff for the 3.7 application. Only thing so far that's tested and works is the differential brace

      I agree, but I think a lot of the “non engine” related components are compatible.

    I installed this mount with the poly bushing, my car was gonna come apart!! Not sure if the 400 or 500 mile break in will work, but driving my car with the párkinson this part gave it, would of been near impossible for more that a couple days! After only a couple of hours of having it installed, I went back to the shop and took it off! It definitely did not perform as on this video. I am sure it works on the long run, you just have to be willing to take the shaking and rattle for 400 to 500 miles as they say!

      Should have given it a few more days before deciding 😞

    Great video as always. Does PA provide two (2) bushings; solid and poly?

    • @ZillaFullBoost
      @ZillaFullBoost  Před 3 lety

      Hey, yup PA provides you both. Comes with the poly installed, so if you want a more track-oriented bushing you can swap the solid in there.

    Great video, I noticed after installing the vibration and noise. I thought I messed something up. The car when accelerating seems to rumble more. I thought i had an exhaust leak or something from disconnecting my y pipe. Is that normal ?

      Did you add the poly bushing? If so, it will get better as the bushing breaks in. If its the solid one then it will always be rough.

      @@ZillaFullBoost yeah I just installed it the way it came I’m assuming the poly bushing.

    Regarding the performance aspect of the Pride transmission mount. Do you have a review? Were you able to test the mount at the track? Did your times improve? Im curious.. 🧐🤨

      Sup, I don’t have a review like that. Never really focused in on getting data like that (I should have), however from the top of my head I would say just by itself it probably won’t net better times (I could be wrong). It’s one of those components that works together with the other mounts and braces. By using everything together it should help on transferring the power to the ground more efficiently which in turn will net you faster times.
