I would love a video that covers any exterior programs you’re aware of that can get connected to the flight sim to enhance the experience and how to do it. I was hoping fltplan-go would be compatible.
Little correction: in FSE one can still use time acceleration/compression (or increase sim rate, in MSFS parlor). They call it the 30/48 rule: 30 hours flight time is allowed within 48 (real-time) hours. Some of us don't have 3+ hrs non-stop for a flight, so this way we can still do longer flights and use time compression to make them a bit shorter in real-time. Hopefully this helps against extreme players, who seem to fly non-stop (no IRL life?), or cheaters.
In X-Plane 11 you could have certain aircraft pause at T/D. Therefore, you could set up an 11-hour flight, and come back to the game when it's paused at the top of descent for you to finish it.

Back in the day Larry had one of a very few L-39 and MIG-15/17 training schools in the USA, the best in my opinion. He would get everything done that he could and then light the engine up and head out to the runway asap, those jets eat Jet-A like it's going out of style, loud jets, very fun to watch.
I've done around 40 hours in game in the TBM now, I've found that the FMC sometimes needs a bit of time to bring up arrivals/approaches after you start adding a flight plan.

I wish the marshaller would just go away after parking, or maybe walk over the the plane once the engine(s) shut down. It also looks like they direct planes on the GA ramp to park backwards. The "T" marking in yellow paint is intended for the plane to park with the tail facing the bottom end of the "T" and the main wheels stopped on the horizontal top part of the "T." I don't have the sim yet (waiting for my new PC to ship), but every video I've seen where the AI ground crew marshals a plane in to park, has them park on the yellow "T" facing the opposite direction to what is intended.

Btw the side is already kinda down, where they have shutdown the registration for new members, bc they are updating some technical stuff. But it should open in a couple of days again.
@@e.f.9963 the site works perfectly fine, I had the same problem at first too, where the site wouldnt work, but then I found their facebook page where they have addressed the issue. U have to host an ip in ur windows then the site worked for me. Its really ez just go to their facebook page and scrolle down and ull see it. Plus u can search on youtube on how to host an ip, its really simple.

I played quite a bit of FSEconomy but was getting fed up with the mismatch in airports (old database). Onair seems to be much better aligned with the airports available in MSFS2020. Personally I also like being encouraged to fly a bit more proper, as with FSEconomy you just gun it to the landing strip and dunk it down if you just want to get a quick flight in. To support the developer I got a 2 year sub, still less than a AAA game and it will give me hours of fun.
Technically you should have flown the procedure turn in lieu of hold at GUVCE since the transition was more than a 90⁰ turn to the final approach course.
Not understanding the confusion at the end when Squirrel says doesn't understand why it says KSAF under from... Seems obvious to me... From is the "source" location... just because you've moved them (to KSJN as per the location column) doesn't change where they started... Would love an FSEconomy overview/getting started guide once they've sorted out their DNS and registration issues they're going through at the moment...
You can add the approach, you just need to add it through where it says wave point and then type in the airport ICAO , then add it there , hopefully they get it working in the proper way eventually✈️🛬
You might also be interested in checking out FlyTheWorld. It's an alternative to FSEconomy written by some people who were dissatisfied with some of FSE's features and management, and personally I prefer it quite a bit.

Got my little Cessna hoping on short hauls from Newcastle to some little grass strip south of Cambridge, making money along the way. Totally changes the sim. Have to say, I ain't taking so long to take off, going from here to there set in MFS, and we're off. Swinging into grass strips don't require much planning.

Another thing that CTRL+E didn't do when starting the plane was turn on the automatic fuel tank selector, though I noticed that you noticed it mid-flight, as the CAS message was on before the montage but off after it.

FSE has pretty much been unavailable all day, probably due to heavy overload thanks to a stack of new flyers. You can use accelerated time up to 16X but more than that cancels the flight. Been using FSE since 2012.

Look for onair company Airline Manager. 15 day trial.
It's fun and works out of the box with MSFS.
M. Graf it’s a 7 day trial. And paying is gonna make people look the other way since FSE is donation-based.
FSE is very fun, just make sure to keep your ambitions in check. It's very easy to get into it and burn yourself out very quickly.

XMapsy allows you to connect MSFS2020 and other sims to your ipad with Foreflight or WingX and display your sim position on real charts

As a quick note, you selected high airways for planning, but then only went up to 16000 feet. High airways are be used above 18000'.

as I remember (in FSX) you can accelerate the time, but FSEconomy will only allow you to fly a certain amount of (simulated) hours a week.
You should also look into onair airline manager, it appears to have a more streamlined/functional interface and has more features than fse

FYI, you are allowed to increase the sim rate up to 16x. However, you are only allowed 30 flight hours in a rolling 48-hour period.

Time acceleration is allowed in FSE, you just can't fly more than 30hrs in 48 hours of real time. However you can't accelerate time in the new MFS.
We can increase the sim rate, which basically does the same as accelerating time.

No it’s been fine all day. The DNS servers on the other hand have been attacked. There is a post on the FSE forum that details a simple work around.

The reason the location and from are different is coz, the origin of some assignments might be different to where they are currently.
