Ethan Hawke, Uma Thurman, Alan Arkin and Jude Law star in this engrossing sci-fi thriller about an all-too-human man who dares to defy a system obsessed with genetic perfection. Hawke stars as Vincent, an "In-Valid" who assumes the identity of a member of the genetic elite to pursue his goal of traveling into space with the Gattaca Aerospace Corporation. However, a week before his mission, a murder marks Vincent as a suspect. With a relentless investigator in pursuit and the colleague he has fallen in love with beginning to suspect his deception, Vincent's dreams steadily unravel. - Krátké a kreslené filmy
I love that the real Jerome is already sticking up for Vincent with the 20% vs 25% fee. Shows that he is actually a man of good character really, but has his own flaws he cannot get around.
Because if Vincent had more money it would mean more for him too, since Vincent is responsible for providing for Jerome in exchange of his credentials and services.
Jerome already lost the will to carry on as a disabled person. He was the perfect human speciman before. Vincent gave him the reason to carry on a bit longer so that Vincent could beat the system in his image and Jerome wanted the best for his replacement. It would be a victory of sorts for him.
It’s because it would leave a higher percent for Jerome
"I'd give it 110%..."
"That'd only get you halfway there."

It’s a great reason to not subscribe
The only thing more hilarious than the fact that the DNA broker has a case full of blood vials at room temperature instead of some kind of written profile is that Ethan Hawke looks at the vial as though it can tell him anything about its contents.
But the case was refrigerated and he used the genetic function on his cell watch to test a sample. All thanks to movie magic.
Lol it's more that he's looking at that tiny vial and seeing his future
I had the same thought
They could use un eppendorf tube though
its meant to be anachronistic
It's funny how Ethan Hawk with glasses looks like Mathew Modine
Jude Law is a good looking man.
Even before Gattaca
Yes, that is what superior genetics does for you.
@@user-yp1tp7hf3f You know Walter?
Jerome Jerome the metronome
Lol
Xander Berkeley has been an underrated performer for decades. He's been a fabulous supporting role in nearly every film he's showed up in.
@@Novastar.SaberCombatHe was hilarious in T2: Judgment Day!! “Hey, shut up, you mutt!!”😂
The height thing was one of the things that reached too far (pardon the pun). Those scars would have been extensive and telltale.
They address that in the movie. He says it was from a car accident.
Damn! Now we why Monk is so exact!
Jude Law will be awesome playing Lux Bonteri in the Mandalorian. I would like to see a photo with him and Rosario Dawson at the Premiere of Ahsoka and Skeletron Crew
When your only cinematography culture is superheros and Star Wars.
@@conatcha I'm glad that Lux Is back in the Mandalorian because i would like to see him and Ahsoka now the new parents for Ezra, Luke and Leia for five years and new grandparents for Ben for Four years. I Hope that Nak-il and Pav-Ti, Ahsoka's parents, meets Lux realize that his mother Mina was a Separatist but the Old friend of Padme, Anakin's wife and the mother of Luke and Leia
Blah blah blah capeshit
@@beatricesanfilippo6925 Would be the low point of his career, being part of Disney Star Wars lmao. Nobody cares about Lux whoever he was or any of the other stuff you wrote. cheers.
@@takuid QUIET FOR CHRIST SAKE! YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND THAT EZRA BRIDGER AND AHSOKA TANO HAD MARRIED WITH THEIR LOVERS SABINE WREN AND LUX BONTERI FOR FIVE YEARS IN THE MANDALORIAN AFTER THE BATTLE OF JAKKU!

Y sigue siendo inquietantemente actual
¿Actual? Lo que es actual es la adicción a los móviles y a las redes sociales. La victimización, la falsa acusación, la corrección política y la cultura de la cancelación. Eso sí que es inquietante.
'practically gonna live forever' so would that imply he would see the Sun go into its red giant phase in a few billion years?
I wonder if we’re supposed to believe that his leg bones were cut, and then reattached with metal implants to lengthen them, and nothing else. Would it make any sense to suggest the entire leg was sawed off and reattached?
Its an actual real life procedure
@@razorfett147 Which is fine, but what does the procedure entail?
That's actually how the surgery works, my guy. Google it. It's becoming increasingly popular with tech bros these days.
@@GimmieUtoob they cut the bone and then stretch it when the bone tissue begins to form but is still soft. Slow gradual stretching. I've had a variation of this surgery done to me. It's excruciating. Takes a long time.
@@knight8003have you done it??
I seriously doubt that Jude Law was ever over 6 ft tall...
It’s a film. In reality he has also lost most of that hair
Yeah, Jude Law is 5’10”. I’m 6’5” and I’m not even genetically engineered or anything.
