Honestly even when going at the basics the game it can be fun. At least for me. Learning feel of the game eventually creates your own style of flow even if you have to take things slow at first. Im still trying to improve myself.
Imagine being skilled like this in a game and then you see some guy on the internet give the game a bad review while the only thing he did is press and mash the same fucking button.

Fairly new DMC player here. Most combo videos I see I don’t even know how to pull off, and the best one I did I feel like it’s just basic. If anyone can give me some advice on doing better (aside from jump cancels, since I can’t do that consistently with default controls) I’d be grateful
Leeroy The Man you need to have the two Kalina Anns and have the attack unlocked with an upgraded Gunslinger. It should be Lock on+Back movement+Style button
To be honest if you play with a controller, dante is very uncomfortable, they took it to far with the complexity to the point that there are not enough buttons to be played correctly.
@DelusionaryKiller I was mostly referring to stances. Weapons takes only 2 buttons (melee and range) but stances need 4 different inputs on your d-pad, it feels uncomfortable to change them in the middle of your fights, they should figure out a more direct way to sweach between them.
@@lunator100hd you need to be more dexterous. There's nothing wrong with the style switching. I went from not even being able to utilize enemy step to being able to do combos just shy or better than what was in the video. Practice. The game takes skill.
if you finish the game on Son of Sparda difficulty, you can have 6 weapons loadout with Dante (or even none, there's an achievement for completing Cavaliere's mission without weapons)
Can't be bad at switching weapons if you only use one weapon. #NeroGang

unfortunately vergil hates combo chains and will break it after a set amount of time or hit
Suggestion only at 00:25 you could have brought him back with Faust and slam with cavalier and then continue the combo
Or pressed L1 + R1 together
Chaining attacks is the easy part. It's the dodging part that I suck at real badly.

If you get the time, could you do a tutorial for V's perfect teleport after a kill? I never saw anyone discuss the actual timing for it.
just keep tapping O as soon as u kill an enemy..make sure to hold lock on as well
