2018 Plus Recall GOLDWING Fuel Pump Tips Until replaced Under Warranty 4K

2018 Plus Honda Goldwing owners are waiting to have their fuel pumps replaced under recall. These fuel pumps have impellers that may disintegrate creating a significant safety issue that is preventing many riders from riding during peek riding season until their pumps are replaced. We offer two steps owners of GL1800 Goldwings can take prior to fuel pump recall work that may help with current fuel pump life and strengthen fuel system components.
Letters have gone out to owners of all 2018-2019 Honda Geldings regarding the faulty impeller on fuel pumps (located under the seat). We cover the letter and potential next steps.
1. Expect a second letter when parts are available
2. Contact your selling Honda dealer to get on the list
3. Riding your Goldwing prior to new fuel pump installations is up to the rider.
