      Congrats! The nausea will subside. Try to eat some dry toast...sip some ginger tea (I preferred chilled over hot.) nothing wrong with being 22, I was having my second child at 22 :)

      Congratulations! I think that's very common. My appetite didn't really increase that much until the 3rd trimester. Just make sure to eat nutrient-dense food when you are hungry. Vitamin B6 and ginger also help with nausea.

    You seem to be doing really well with your water intake, but if for some reason it stops being so easy, try cutting up fruit and putting it in your water. I was fine in my first two trimesters but by the third I just cannot seem to stomach water on it's own. I put raspberries (frozen or fresh) and sometimes strawberries or blueberries in a large travel bottle of water and it really seems to help!

    During my first pregnancy I craved a lot of milk. This pregnancy I was extremely hungry during the first trimester and ate a lot of eggs. I am now 27 weeks and pretty much eating like my normal non pregnant self (obviously avoiding unpasteurised cheeses, pate, seafood etc). Today I had homemade oaty bread for breakfast, lasagne with salad for lunch and vegetable chilli for dinner. I had one snack of a homemade flapjack with a glass of milk mid morning.

    This is a weird question but at what time do you go to bed? I can't imagine not snacking between dinner and bedtime! but I also go to bed fairly late (which I'm trying to change)
    I don't know if anyone else would find it interesting but I would love to see a daily routine video with that kind of info (your waking time, work out time, cleaning time, bed time...) hahaha I know it's weird but I love watching other people's routine and I think yours would be the best one:)

    My go to quick fix that involves minimal cooking is veggie pasta sauteed with breadcrumbs and whatever else I have in the pantry or fridge. Cherry or grape tomatoes, chickpeas, onion, squash, or beans. It's a recipe that just uses staple ingredients in my house and really doesn't require much time at all. If I'm not paying attention to the time I won't tend to get hungry until 8 or so which for me is too late for me to be willing to cook anything. This is the least amount of cooking I'm willing to do once I've that mark.

    My favorite snack while preggo, and now while still breastfeeding, was/is extra sharp cheddar cheese wrapped in a flour tortilla. I heat it just enough so the cheese is warm and a little soft. Then I dip them in taco sauce. Medium, please. I craved spicy while pregnant.

      It depends on your activity level. Jen is a very active person, so she needs to replace what she sweats out, get in her normal amount, and drink some extra to help keep the extra blood (your bodies blood volume doubles through pregnancy) flowing easily.

    • @TheRuckFarm
      @TheRuckFarm Před 5 lety

      Average Jane The types of food and size of meals/snacks are basically the same, but I'm eating more during the day and less during/after dinner. No one suggested I eat more, although I've read you can increase your calorie intake by 300 or so in the 2nd and 3rd trimesters. I don't count calories so I'm not sure if that's what i've done. i think it probably works out to be something like that.

    I wish I could afford to eat like that while i'm pregnant. Nevertheless, I still try to do my best to buy good stuff for my body and baby as best I can.

      Sarah P. I wish everyone could afford to eat the right food. Poverty is a world problem and there are even mum's who give birth to their children in war striken areas and scarcely get enough to eat. Some of them even don't have access to Internet or any caretakers. We are still fortunate.

      Aleena Raza please understand this is not the “right food” she is eating a hen reproductive cycle, cows breast milk, and dead animal muscles. Eat a whole food plant based diet centered around rice, potatoes, corn, beans, it’s super cheap and extremely healthy.

    7am I would have 2 satsuma, bf around 9am I have 2 eggs with spinach pepper n mushroom with a cup of coffee. Lunch At 12/1pm would have a broccoli chicken and cabbage with glass of squash. Snack around 2 an apple. 4.30pm my smoothie (frozen berry, frozen mango, 3 dates, lil coconut oil, lil avocado oil, spoon of chia seeds, lil oats, Greek yogurt mix with water I don’t like it too thick, n a spoon of super green powder) n dinner is bowl of lentil with cucumber n tomato salad. I take all my prenatal supplements n it’s expensive boy, the omega oil itself was £30🤦🏻‍♀️ the supplements are natural from iherb. I try to keep it simple nutritious n give my baby a good start in life. I have a glass of milk before bed. The diet is expensive but it’s for my baby’s future investment. I’m using my saving on him. I don’t have carbs only seeded bread or brown rice if I do have it n also beans n pulses are regular in my home, chicken n lots of fish. Living in London all the bloody is damn expensive. My first pregnancy I’m 28wks n I drink over a litre of water a day that’s including all fluids but purely water I would day 800mls.
