Charlie Hopkinson is a comedic impressionist, impersonator, voice guy, whatever you want to call it who specialises in voices from current television shows and films. His standup is a character act about a retired maths teacher, his standup set includes impressions of Sir David Attenborough, Robin Williams, Morgan Freeman, Liam Neeson, Peaky Blinders, Tommy and Arthur Shelby and Gandalf from Lord of the Rings.
Always looking to update my roster I look to try out subscriber suggested impressions in the impressions challenge series before honing the best ones. Recently I have added Peaky Blinders and Marvel / Avengers characters to my arsenal!

I started learning impressions in 2012, at the age of 20. You can follow my full impressions journey in my new ‘How to do impressions’ tutorial series
After graduating from the University of Warwick in the summer 2013 he took 4 months out to concentrate on CZcams videos full time, including producing his most viewed video to date ‘Morgan Freeman and 40 other impressions’ with just over 12 million views. This foray into being a ‘full time CZcamsr’ was cut short as he went travelling for 3 months before starting a 2 year teaching Graduate scheme with Charity ‘Teach First’.
While teaching he has performed in and narrated the 4 episode series ‘Lookalikes’ as Morgan Freeman. The show and the narration received a positive reception. The show aired on Channel 4 during the prime time slot of Friday 10pm for three weeks. It is now currently available on Netflix. Charlie also performed with other well known impressionists for an unaired pilot.
Charlie has worked for several prominent brands in relation to their products, including google and formula 1.
Since the summer of 2016 Charlie has once again dived into the world of CZcams, for the first time producing content on a weekly basis. He is also focusing on live performance; he has performed in live venues a total of 3 times to date.

Dooku: “No, seriously, I’ll straight up tell you, Sidious is Chancellor Palpatine.”
Obiwan: “Don’t believe it, you’re trying to trick me.”
Dooku: “No I’m serious. The clones have even been programmed by us. All Palpatine needs to say is, ‘execute order 66’ and the clones will kill all of the Jedi.”
Obiwan: “I don’t believe you. That’s impossible.”
Dooku: "...We are on Geonosis."
Obi-Wan: "Well I don't know where we are anymore, but it probably ends in 'tooine'."
"Order 66? I dont believe you, who would do that?"

Obi-wan DID report it; that's why Palpatine STAGED HIS OWN KIDNAPPING so that the Jedi wouldn't suspect it was HIM.
Meanwhile Palpatine made it look like Dooku was LYING; but he also KILLED Dooku-- not for ratting him out, which he admired; but for FAILING to follow through.
The Dooku and Obi Wan scene is top two of the underrated Attack of the Clones scenes.. right up there with The Chancellor and the Jedi opening scene… “Yoda, do you think it will come to war?” Gaging how attuned to the future the grandmaster is.. and wasn’t. Two instances of giving the Jedi the keys to everything and their hubris does hubris things.

At least it's somewhat cleared up in the clone wars season 7. Obi-Wan did tell the counsel, but they, like him didn't believe it. They just kept the thought in the back of their minds which is why they eventually wanted Anakin to spy on the ol' Palps.
Why do I remember Obi-wan saying something later but Yoda dismisses it? “He is become a Sith, lies and deceit he uses” or something like that

That is tough. Obi wan did tell the council at one point but none of them believed him because they didnt feel it in the force. It has been known that sidious has the ability to hide his presents in the force but even with everything, the jedi turned a blind eye which got alot of people killed and children

At least Anakin had to be insulted by the Council and be put in a dilemma with his wife before he screwed up. Dooku treated Kenobi with full courtesy and respect, and gave him the chance to end it all there, and Kenobi just spat on him without looking at all the angles.

I remember coming from the theater and my friend pointing that out. Obi-Wan was told straight to his face who the big bad was and just.... outright ignored it. Didn't even think to mention it to anyone.

This changed my whole perception of star wars 😂 All this time I was sad and mad that Obi Wan ruined Anakin at mustafar but NOW I kinda enjoy knowing that Obi Wan was to be blamed all this time

Of course, we can assume that Obi Wan made a full report to the Jedi Council, just like Qui Gon did after the first fight with Maul, and the Jedi Council promptly ignored it. Statement from the Jedi Council would have read something like this: "Obi Wan, none of the Council members have felt anything like a Sith Lord on Coruscant through the Force. We are too wise and powerful to be deceived like this. Trying to follow up on this would be a waste of time."
In all seriousness, I felt dooku was to act as a double spy, but got too far in and got drunk off the dark side, that it consumed him. Kinda like how undercover cops need to try drugs to get on the bad guy's good side. Take too much, and they get addicted. That's why the dark side is taboo. Messes with the mind.

People rag on Luke for an (arguably in character) moment of impulse and having depression but the oh so ever wise Jedi council before him were literally given all the information they needed tenfold to know that the person controlling the senate (coincidentally Palpatine, the person they didn't trust and could sense the dark side surrounding) was evil and would turn the clones on them - especially if you factor in The Clone Wars TV show - and their solution was to... tell their most unstable Jedi to spy on him. Genius!

They were pretty dumb tbh. Tried to be good and trusting, but to a fault, where it would cost countless lives because they held to such a strict, rigid code.
They didn’t think the clone army was suspect? At all? I would’ve implanted charges in their heads, that would go off if they targeted Jedi. And I would’ve had the most high end, badass defences installed in the temple. And I would’ve had multiple shipyards building a massive armada of ships.

@@JT-gi8rxoriginally they desperately needed military power and the clone army was just there. The senate kept voting to produce more clones for the war so there wasn’t much choice. By the time the Jedi learned the clones were paid for by the sith they had such a bad public reputation that it would be a risk to do anything but cover up the corruption within the military. And they believed that the clones had proved themselves and could be trusted.
Still dumb though. Worse because they were more concerned with senate and public approval than the force, code, or morals.
🤔So Kenobi could have stopped Darth Sidious & saved the Republic & jedi from being slaughtered!! Wow Kenobi, Count Douku handed it to you on a silver plater & you ignored him!!🤦♂️😅😅😅🤠👍

NO, def. the edits are better. Gets right at the point, those instagram and tiktokkers are on to something. Def. having Padme in the mix adds a lot of gravitas. Sometimes NOT comments says more than commenting... advice I never put into practice, mind you. But having Padme eat Doritos the whole time confirms the plausible notion the whole premise is very dodgy and excuses won't fly in the end. Better just own up, Force-ghosts, there is ample blame in the house for all. Very bad mistakes were made, best ponder what better decisions lie ahead.

I think she’s great as Force Ghost Padme. I guess carrying the twins gave her enough Midichlorians to retain her consciousness in The Force after death. But then again, we know her body didn’t vanish afterwards, and that Darth Vader (in the comics) had her remains scanned by a forensics droid. Maybe Not Obi Wan could “constructively” address how that happened? Ought to be a hoot.
