Charlie Hopkinson is a comedic impressionist, impersonator, voice guy, whatever you want to call it who specialises in voices from current television shows and films. His standup is a character act about a retired maths teacher, his standup set includes impressions of Sir David Attenborough, Robin Williams, Morgan Freeman, Liam Neeson, Peaky Blinders, Tommy and Arthur Shelby and Gandalf from Lord of the Rings.
Always looking to update my roster I look to try out subscriber suggested impressions in the impressions challenge series before honing the best ones. Recently I have added Peaky Blinders and Marvel / Avengers characters to my arsenal!

How to do Impressions - An audience lead tutorial series where I attempt to pass on my Impressions knowledge.
Dubs - Comedic dubs of iconic scenes with new dialogue, (My Peaky Blinders and Lord of The Rings dubs have grossed over 6 million views on Facebook)

I started learning impressions in 2012, at the age of 20. You can follow my full impressions journey in my new ‘How to do impressions’ tutorial series
After graduating from the University of Warwick in the summer 2013 he took 4 months out to concentrate on CZcams videos full time, including producing his most viewed video to date ‘Morgan Freeman and 40 other impressions’ with just over 12 million views. This foray into being a ‘full time CZcamsr’ was cut short as he went travelling for 3 months before starting a 2 year teaching Graduate scheme with Charity ‘Teach First’.
While teaching he has performed in and narrated the 4 episode series ‘Lookalikes’ as Morgan Freeman. The show and the narration received a positive reception. The show aired on Channel 4 during the prime time slot of Friday 10pm for three weeks. It is now currently available on Netflix. Charlie also performed with other well known impressionists for an unaired pilot.
Charlie has worked for several prominent brands in relation to their products, including google and formula 1.
Since the summer of 2016 Charlie has once again dived into the world of CZcams, for the first time producing content on a weekly basis. He is also focusing on live performance; he has performed in live venues a total of 3 times to date.

Just bc that's what he and the council now doesn't mean it's true? Think about how many jedi there were then and how TPM only tells a story from the perspective of a few characters in the whole skywalker arc.
@@alastairstock118 Yup. Another thing is, who’s to say the Jedi weren’t a little sketchier than they’d admit? What if they’d cover up everything they witnessed here in Acolyte, hid it from the public? After all, the only Jedi that should be alive from this time to Phantom Menace are Yoda and Yaddle. None the less the fact that the Jedi seen in this show could be killed before they give a proper report. Plus, these darksiders although most likely Sith do not have to be Sith. Just because someone bleeds their Crystal doesn’t mean they inherently have to be a Sith, just look at Dagan Gera, he chose to bleed his crystal during Jedi: Survivor, but he were no Sith. I dunno, I feel there can be a lot of explanations, none the less the idea that a lot of the Jedi by the time of Phantom Menace could just be unaware of this whole ordeal’s details.

Hey originally only Vader was a Sith. The derpy Emperor was actually a dark jedi. Then again Leia wasn't Luke's sister until Return was written so... ch-ch-changes!

@@user-xx6vy9ri8p Dark jedi are jedi who fell to the dark side but didn't join the Sith religion. Like Barriss Offee and Baylan Skoll. Sith is a religion that focuses on the dark side, but they don't own feelings of hate, fear, and pain.
@@user-xx6vy9ri8p As another has stated, to elaborate, Sith have a code and set of beliefs, religion they have to follow essentially. A dark Jedi is simply a Jedi who fell to the dark, who does not follow any of the given beliefs or codes. Iirc a Dark Jedi can also just be a darkside user generalized, though not sure on that. Otherwise, it’s in the same vain as say the Nightsisters or Knights of Ren, they are darkside users, but they are not inherently Sith as they follow different codes, beliefs, and religions.

It’s funny how Star Wars went from being so diverse in population during the high republic era but once the empire hit everyone suddenly became English and a few Americans 😂😂😂
Actually, in Star Wars Rebels, we see at the imperial academy that almost all the recruits have American accents, meaning that they DO take classes on having English accents.
I did steal that joke from Killian Experience, but I still headcanon it.
Actually in England we're all born with American accents but we're brought up to be evil and imperial so it turns that way.

@nightmarezero8465 I mean, in terms of Disney star wars, Rebels is actually pretty good. Sure it drags at times, but overall its a pretty good show. Still made by the same team that did clone wars, so the only real difference was the company overhead. Disney's done plenty of awful things with Star wars, but just blanket calling everything they put out bad seems a bit narrow-minded to me.
There’s probably some Legends reason for it. Like how Palpatine’s dislike of aliens accounts for their absence on imperial ships. Probably he had a thing for accents too. I like the idea that everyone is trained in BBC English at the academy 😂

There are three types of sea otter. Guardian, Consular and Sentinel. Guardians are focused mainly on lightsaber combat and have blue lightsabers (Obi-Wan, Anakin), Consulars' focus is on use of the Force, their lightsabers are green (Yoda, Qui-Gon) and Sentinels are trained to seek out and destroy the dark side and the sea otters that use it. Their lightsabers are yellow.

@@musclecat1005 There is always one old otter that doesn't ever go on missions, only offers criticism, and generally walks around with a look on his face like he is upset with the amount of snakes on his plane. Thats the purple one.
A 100 years before A New Hope Yoda was still a Grandmaster, you'd have to go back about 800 years to reach a time before he was Grandmaster. There happened to be 3 Grandmasters during the High Republic Era, it's a rank to be achieved, not a position to fill.

this is the only way i watch starwars these days...will be sure to follow the whole new series as seen through couch Obi-wan and Qui Gon's eyes. Well at least until season 2 of Andor lands. i give that one a chance.
