i find it absolutely crazy just how much of a difference a full of head hair and a healthy hairline makes to a person’s appearance.
Yep once you see it you can't unsee it. I wish hair systems were more available and acceptable for men. A well framed face makes a huge difference.
@@David-no7zi Literally once you dive into this stuff you can’t unsee it. A good hairline with good density can shave years off your looks and improves your appearance dramatically. Thin receded hair simply does not look good on anyone

I went to school with a guy who also had this, he was hands down the most popular guy in school and everyone still loves him. He was confident and funny and kind, and just all around a good time. He had the best looking lady’s, it stopped him from nothing. You are not him, but you are just as capable. Your actions will make you. Fuck the rest.

Hi Dr. Gary! Your videos on hair transplants are super educational, and I'm a huge fan of your channel. Could you make a video on the long term results (10 years +) of hair transplants? There are a lot of resources showing how great a hair transplant looks a year or two down the line but I haven't seen anything on how it looks and lasts 10 plus years post surgery. Thank you!
The transplanted hair should never fall out or miniaturize because it is not sensitive to DHT given the location it was extracted. However, the surrounding areas of the transplanted hair must be maintained through finasteride and minoxidil use to optimize full coverage. In essence if done properly one should have good results in the long run.

He had excellent doctors and therapy to maintain his locks. Either way...receding or not, he still looks mavelous! Thank you for the breakdown in knowledge on this process. I'm sure, he looked at many doctors and type procedures and success rates ( *and one should* ) prior to execution of this. I've seen many people on the streets with terrible outcomes that it's so obvious that their procedures didn't take properly or follow through wasn't met. 😷👍🏽

@@mattmarkham4734 just go to turkey, doing it in the US is a complete joke, for one you save money, and you get to visit a different country, I had one done in august, the plane ticket, hotel, and the transplant itself costed only 2500, and my results are night and day and it hasn’t even been six months yet

Not related to the topic of this video, but I read on your website that you studied art! That is so cool and I can definitely see how it can dovetail with your current medical practice. It might be an interesting video to see you react/comment on some of your artworks if you feel comfortable sharing. As an artist myself, I always have fun hearing the thought processes behind each piece, the approach the artist took, etc.

I recently had my 2nd surgery for eyebrow transplant and to add some density from the 1st hair transplant this Monday 28th March 2022, where I had to pay additional $800 for it. Overall I'm happy, just have to wait again for the final result.

Excellent content. I'm curious, is it necessary to begin taking finasteride after a hair transplant? I'm interested a transplant, but I don't want to risk the side effects, so I'd rather not take drugs. Will the hair transplant hold up without subsequent finasteride treatment?
I think Dr. Gary looks just fine without the hair he used to have. He has great complexion, and a nicely shaped head. Coupled with a great mind and personality, makes for an attractive man in my opinion.

That explains his amazing looks! I’m getting mine next April for my bday. My temples and hairline overall started receeding greatly over the past 2 years. I always had a large forehead and receded temples since birth (and it sucked big time) but I worked with what I had (even modeled for a bit in my early years). After 3 years of off and on steroid cycles for my bodybuilding competitions the winstrol (Winnie) definitely was the instigator of my hairline receding (it never moved an inch prior). Stopped that stuff and am sporting a male hairpiece until I get my bonus from work next year and I’m heading to hair of Istanbul for my fue surgery. I was going to get it done last month but pulled the trigger on a new house and that took abt all my savings and my bonus (for the down and closing). Once you have a semi normal hairline and are attractive and it goes away it definitely plays on you and your self esteem. I’m tired of and too damn old (46) to rock backwards caps to hide my hairline so I’m rocking the hairpiece (looks totally natural) until next year. Hopefully my results are as good as mgk’s dude looks good.

To me the FUT scar in the second picture looks quite a bit higher than the one in the first picture. In the first one the center of the scar goes almost halfway down the level of his ears, and the second one is close to the top of his ears, and more straight across. Is it possible he had FUE grafts to fill in the first one, and then had another FUT graft higher up? Also not to be picky, but I think his front hair looked better higher up.
Thank you for this video. Is there a limit for when it is not worth to transplant and if so, do you have any examples? In my case the area of thinning is quite large unfortunately but perhaps the flip side is that my donor area appears thick. I am considering if forking out the money will just look slightly weird 10 years down the line.

I had a FUT in the 90’s. I then had a FUE in 2014. For some reason I had a terrible result. My hair was so think and I’d say only 20% of the grafts took. I ended up shaving my head and getting SMP to fix my scars. I’ve seen great results from transplants but not myself.
They did a good job on his hair, I've never noticed the scars before.
I am surprised MGK looks so good, considering how many times the man has broken his face. Like when he got hit by the double decker bus.

Ceoebrities usually go to top doctors, for the regular person it is cheaper. Plus it is 2 hair transplants, but one hair transplant, done by a regular doctor, will probably not cost over 8.000 €. Also, surgeries are more expensive in the US than many countries.
So again, that's not the average price at all.

These videos have definitely helped me see how common it is for men to experience hairloss in their 20s as I thought I wouldn't have to deal with these problems until 34-35 LOL. How do you tell the difference between going bold and natural hairline receding due to age?
Turkey is becoming very popular in terms of hair transplant surgeries and I am actually considering going there for surgery in a few years. I just bought minoxidil 5% solution and I plan on using it for a while before I do the surgery.
