Whoever did his last one is a genius. He looks the best he ever looked.
He went to turkey
@@douglashall4316 doubt that lol people go to Turkey because it's cheap 🤣
@@ryu10000 cheap isn't synonymous with poor quality or doctors with no talent. Lol. Lol. Lol.
@@maryamkim1281 you're a fool if you believe that lol lol lol
@Jay Jose which hospitals and clinics are you referring to? Please name them.
This is a prime example of his hair literally played a role in him getting specific roles in movies bc I didn’t even know he was this old with that great hairline. Hair really makes you look youthful
💯
Dude is 55!!
So amazing I was thinking the same thing
I'm sure he's done a lot more that contributed to him appearing younger than just the hair transplant.
Yep. Have you ever seen one of those hair piece videos the barbers do? Makes the dudes look 20 years younger
Man you nailed it, 2004. My first (and second) hair transplant was done by the same doctor. He had just done Jaime’s. The doctor has since passed away unfortunately, he was extremely talented.
I literally just watched Collateral the other night and mans sharp line up and dyed hairline bothered me the whole movie.
That was something non permanent, because you can compare his hairline in “Ray” to his actual hairline in “Django” and they’re completely different.
Mark: I'm curious, who was the Surgeon that you used who has since passed?
@@georgeandy6923 Dr Kenneth Sipporin (spell check). At the time he worked for MHR on Rodeo. By my second he had his own practice in Century City. Died from complications from a lasik surgery a week or so after the surgery.
Picture of health, constant surfer, extremely nice and talented guy.
@@markallendelisle Thanks Mark...and so sorry to hear about his passing. Sounds like he was a really Wonderful Person!!
I much prefer his current hairline cause I don't know how we was letting him walk around with that super square hairline in the mid '00s 😭
🤣
Say that again! How did we allow that? 🤣
😂😂😂😂💀💀💀💀🤣🤣🤣🤣
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🙏🏾😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
We were less judgmental back then.
He came into his looks when he fixed the hairline! Good for him.
Only took him decades lol p
Can’t believe he’s 54. Dude looks younger now than he did back then.
Would love to know what he does for treatments
That is def not true. He looked young till 2018/19 but it the last 2 years his age starts to show

@@Tr786hala Nope, no treatment. Its the butters. get you some and your skin will thank you.
I love how you explained the benefits of gradual transplants vs. one "heroic" one. When thinking about the procedure, I never thought about underlying blood vessels, etc.; that necrosis freaked me out! Truly enlightening, thank you Doc! 🙌🏽
This guy doesn't seem to be aging ... He looks almost exactly the way he did at 27yrs.
He also doesn't have a Hair Transplant.
@@naturalkinkycurlymarie7496 Clearly you have not watched the whole video

yeah, he opted for very subtle tweaks and is a true minimalist . Nobody can clock his tea . His skin is well maintained also. the butters work wonder. I got some of my paternal white relatives in that game and most look polished.

@@PHlophe ah I see . Thanks
That is the best hair transplant I have ever seen. Jaime Fox looks young and renewed. I do not believe you can ever have a hair transplant TOO young for your age. There's never a reason why at any age you wouldn't want to look great.
It never occurred to me that these transplants were happening through the years. It's made all the difference in his youthful appearance.

Finally a video on the man of a thousand hairlines.
Lol
Especially 2013 hairline. How the hell did we let him slide by with this one? Lol!
His hair looks great, and he looks great - even with the scars. It was worth it for him to have that youthful look for his roles, and they did an amazing job. I'm glad he appears to have gotten rid of the tattoo. It wasn't really hiding anything, anyway.
He looks like he is wearing a helmet lol
He plays his age in most films
That tattoo was horrible.
I would've thought a tattoo removal procedure would affect/kill his hair... ?
Something to note when looking at images from movies, if the movie came out in say 2007, those images are most likely from 2005 or earlier when filming actually occurred. Depending on the movie, they could wrap and it could take 1-2 years of editing and dealing with studios on when the movie will actually release. Awesome video, love seeing these breakdowns.
prime example: breaking the rules movie
Can’t thank you enough for taking the time to talk about the density issues surrounding preexisting hairs vs newly transplanted hairs. I’m in month 14 of a frontal transplant and have stressed over the lesser density of transplant that I see vs the normal/original hairs. I have wanted the “heroic” transplant but now understand better why it’s a safer bet to not overwhelm the existing blood supply to the existing hairs. My situation is very much like Jamie foxx, and I hope that I will not need any additional/refining with another procedure. I certainly hope that by 18-24 months things will look much much better. Any feed back/comments would be helpful. .
Ink design is better an cheaper that another touch up.( inks dots)
He looks great! I’m happy for him and I’m also happy about this *comment section*. 😍 Love to see so many positive supportive comments. Made MY day 🥰
2012 & 2013 look Crazy!! I don't know who told Jamie Fox that that looked good, at all.
Crazy what money can do for your looks lol
I'm a licensed barber. I know after wearing the dread locs hairstyle, most people go shorter and some of the scalp will be damaged if the person shaving it off doesn't know what they are doing. He did have some fibers added along with color. Some barber's push that hair line back too far or change it from the natural position. ( USUALLY RAZOR EDGE UP ).He also wore a weave in some movies and if it was not removed properly it will cause alopecia. I don't know what the scar in the back was from. I don't think a man will spend money on hair replacement, when it will be shaved anyway.* He has worn a bald fade for years. I think he had too many barbers doing his hair.
Imagine having a public video made dedicated to your hairline over time 🤣😂😂
😂😂😂
For real! 😂😂😂😂😂
LMAO
Exactly!! Lol. I was thinking the same thing.
Nothing wrong with doing something for you that is an improvement. Do your thing Jaime!

Great respect for how your channel has evolved, especially your occasional collaborations with Lorry Hill. And btw, it isn't easy to tastefully pull off "merching". But your sharing of proceeds is a kind act, and the particular choice of foundations an appropriate one. I hope your channel continues to grow. Best of luck and congratulations.
Jamie finally got a good hair transplant after all the things he tried over the years. It looks natural, so i can't hate on it. I would do the same thing if my hairline was gone
He spent a grip on it
@@PhuckHue2 he has it

Want to know who else doesn't seem to be aging? Eddie Murphy. The guy is 61 and still looks in his early 40's.I don't know if he has had any work, but he looks very naturally young.
Thanks for doing these! It’s cool to see these and comforting to see that it happens to celebrities too!
I found your channel by accident but man I’m glad I did. You’re so inspiring and engaging. I promise im gonna come to

You are right. If not, it’s the most detailed explanation of hair restoration ever presented.
I knew something was up with his new hair ! Such a dramatic change but it’s been the best change he’s made his whole career lol ! Thank you DR Linkov !
Finally, Jamie’s hairline is explained! I always wondered what the hell he was doing with his line going from his movies Ray to Annie to now. Now we know

Thank you for doing this video! I recently requested it and you made it!
Being a doctor working in Istanbul, I completely agree that some hospitals and clinics are putting the patients lives in danger and not most clinics are legitimate. Being in this field of work I have been guiding patients to the most trusted and liable clinics and hospitals for all kind of treatments. You may write to me if you need any sort of medical related guidance. Great video Dr.Gary!
You are right on! I have had three hair transplant procedures. As a woman I have a congenital thinning in the front hairline. I got my first procedure done around 1998 and my last one done 2021. What a difference the new technology has done. However my doctor doesn't do eyebrows, so I'm coming your way for that procedure!! I really enjoy your videos and you are an amazing doctor! I appreciate your honesty

How am I just now seeing this?!? Loving the content!!
Thanks! 💪
Please remember to explain your terms and acronyms for new viewers! Just found you. Love your clear explanations. Subbed!
Great video, I did always wonder how Jamie’s hair always looked great.
Hey Doctor just so you know. Jamie Foxx's barber is most likely using a semi permanent black hair dye with an airbrush compressor, and spraying it on to get a crisp line. Most black and hispanic barbers use these methods to create a sharper hair line up.
This surgeon lost all credibility with this post. Doc should have done a little research at a black barbershop first. He would have found a few pushed back hairlines.🫣😂
@@MzKeyz26 I have had my hair line pushed back a few times. 😂
Me 2.

Exactly! This guy has no clue when it comes to black barbers. His hairline kept changing because he kept changing his barber 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Killing it! This channel is awesome. Do you have a video on median cost by state or general for fut/fue? Like per 500 or 1000 grafts.
Every clinic is different. Call around.
Love your videos! I’m not sure if you’ve done this one already, but can you do a vid on Brenda Song? The shape of her face has completely changed and I’m curious to hear from your perspective what she might have gotten done. Thanks!
You nailed it Dr.! I kept thinking about that strange hair line of his that he had which is what led me to your video. It was hard to know what happened but I was thinking the same thing u were!
He looks good! I’m saving my money for a hairline lowering surgery aka five head reduction.
@@notreallyacitygirl depends on where you live, in the US it could easily run you up to $20 thousand dollars, Europe is way cheaper since they just can’t put how ever high prices they can like here in the US so depending on the EU country I would guess $2000-$5000.
Great insight. I’m addicted to your videos now😂👌🏻
Jamie Foxx is a magician with his hairline
When you tell us to like the video I feel compelled to because you’re a doctor.
Liked and subbed thanks Dr, I’m hoping to get my hairline filled in this year , even though I’m nearly 60 I’ve never had any confidence despite being 6’2 and staying in shape , I would love to have had more self esteem. Thanks for your posts.

At this point I think every man in Hollywood has a fake hairline🤣🤷🏾♂️🥴
@@CyCamronAnderson You can tell elon musk had it too.
i might need one of these in a couple years. I need that second one, cuz that first one had Foxx lookin WILD in 2013. My line is pushing back a bit and there's a spot in my head that has been SLOWLY BURNING AWAY since I'm 23 and I'm 42 now. It's crazy!
Great video. @9:10 was trying to expand the screen and get a better look, then your video zoomed in. Excellent editing!
I can tell you for certain as a barber, comparing the 90's to the early 2000's was most likely bad haircuts. You can compare cities across the country and see who had the better barbers.
I was just about to say that... Different barbers do better work
Hairdresser here: ABSOLUTLEY!
OMG finally somebody from our own people, because I'm watching this video (and reading comments) like "these folks really don't know what a lineup is. They really think where they're seeing his hairline, is where it ACTUALLY was!"🤦🏾♀️
I was thinking the same thing. His barber made that line.
@@dc7236 You really believe Jamie Foxx didn’t have access to a good barber? No barber can magically pull someone’s hairline forward.
Hi Dr Gary.....first off, I really enjoy watching your videos. I also wanted to say that I have at 2 FUE surgeries. The first was 4000 grafts in July 2019, 2000 frontal and 2000 crown. My intentions from the get go was to have a 2nd surgery the following year, but Covid happened. Fast forward, January 19th, 2 weeks ago today, I had my 2nd FUE with 1500 grafts. I used Carolina Hair Surgery in Mt. Pleasant, SC and the Charlotte area. The first was 17,500 and the 2nd was 7,500.
Great info....and wishing you the best of luck with Everything! Would like to see your before and after photos. I bet that it looks Awesome!!
Thank for Listing the Cost
YOU are sooo good! Bravo Dr. Gary!
Hey Gary, could u do a video covering regenera activa and if it would be an effective treatment or just useless. Theres not much information from others experience with the treatment and would like your opinion on it
Hey Dr Gary. Have you ever done a hair transplant on a patient who has vitiligo? If so did they have any flare ups afterwards?
I wonder if he used Finasteride and Minoxidil throughout the years along with the transplants that he has had. Thanks for the video Dr. Linkov!
I'm enjoying your channel. I'm glad I found it! 🙂
The tattoo was for the movie role it was gone while he was promoting the movie. And yes i agree he definitely had a transplant. Please do Floyd mayweather next because his is amazing

Jamie looks great. When cosmetic surgery is done right, it can do a lot for your quality of life.
Hey Doc....watch a few of the hair styling vids for black males. They use an airbrush along the front edge of the hairline to define the outline. Pretty commonplace now.
Love these videos, since I know you work out of NY, I’m booking an appointment.
He definitely found a much much MUCH better doctor in his later years! After 47.., everything looks really natural on Jamie and compliments his face. Exceptional work!!!
It’s not about how much money you spend.., it is literally about WHO is doing the work. Top dollar in absolutely no way means top doctors!!! Some of those celebrity doctors, and doctors catering to the rich… are some real butchers!!!
You can pay top dollar and still get mediocre or worse. But I also see regular people get dental veneers, and cosmetic surgeries etc… that are phenomenal. Like whoever did Steve Harvey’s teeth, the doctor may have been very expensive, but their work was not good .., they are way to big and don’t look natural at all.
Look at dozens of REAL PHOTOS of their work .., and search out real testimonials of their work on line from real people before you let ANY COSMETIC DOCTOR EVER TOUCH YOU!!! It’s a HUGE MISTAKE to ever think that just because you’re paying top dollar that you’re getting the best!!!!
I don't think it was necessarily the doctor but more advancements in transplants.
I think Jamie Foxx is checking to make sure his doctors office isn’t bugged because I’m pretty sure you nailed it lol
I’m assuming this is common with other people’s hair , But different parts of my hair have different grades ....What’s on top is different from areas on the side and back
I don't know what compelled me to click on this video, but the info is quite fascinating! I saw him in "No Way Home" and thought his hair was rather on point for someone his current age!

I just found your channel and I'm so glad I did! My son has alopecia as well. He started losing his hair when he was 8 and he's now 17 with no hair, brows, or lashes. Strange enough though... he started growing facial hair. I have taken him to many doctors to be sure there were no other underlying causes for the alopecia as autoimmune disorders run in my family. One dermatologist wanted me to do injections all over his scalp and another wanted to give him a chemo like drug to re-set his immune system. I declined both. I do not want to put him through that just for hair.

I literally never noticed till his line in Django compared to him in Spider-Man No Way Home like goddamn major difference & flawless line 💯
The reason he gave for getting the tattoo was….”it was for a movie role.” I think he said that in one of the talk shows. I remembered this vaguely because I waited for that darn role and the movie never came out. I knew he was telling a lie than…
I thought it was for Horrible Bosses
Well, movie roles fall through all the time. Doesn't necessarily mean that he was lying.
If you have a lot of hair on your nape can it be used for transplant or is it not as resistant as the regular donor area?
@blinked025 - Good question!
Dr. G. You are awesome
You can definitely get hair transplants for way less than that. I've seen some people get it done for under $5k for an average amount of grafts in Turkey and it came out great.

@Firtznel Francois Nice, what Dr did you go?
I think you nailed it.. but wouldn't be surprised if it was actually 3 (perhaps 4?) separate procedures
Dr. Gary, what do you suggest for a woman who is aging & has lost hair-primarily on the temples?

Btw would be worthwhile to do a video on Foxx’s other surgeries. He has had alot of facial surgery done if u look at pictures of when he was young.

Hi, Dr.Gary. I just watched the Janet Jackson Doc on Lifetime, and I'm confused. Can you please do an analysis of her nose? I know that she had her nose done at least once when she was about 18, and it always looked great all throughout the years. I just saw her for the first time on TV in about 10 years, and I'm confused as to what happened? It appears that she has pretty bad alar retraction now? Did this happen because she went in for a second, or third nose job during the past 10 years possibly? Thanks!
Yes! Please do a video on Janet Jackson AND Shania Twain also!
Thanks for explaining
Would it be possible to get a FUT transplant AND hairline lowering done? Or is that taking out too much skin on the scalp? This is a serious question lol!
Always been a fan of Jamie growing up. I'm actually 10 months in after my DHI hair transplant procedure. Looks like I will be going in for a 2nd procedure for eyebrows and correcting anything that might look unnatural from my first surgery.
Eyebrows? Wait, you can add hair to eyebrows? I want
@@Tracey313 yes you can. My friend just did hers on Sunday, 5 days ago in Turkey. They took 1000 grafts from the back of her head.
For years I hated that they could never get his hair together. He’s such a handsome man.
Low key i was a little mad at the thumbnail thinking it was a fake pic, clickbait. Lol but noooow omG I still can't believe he ever looked like that... whoever got him together is a genius. 🙌🏾👏🏾💖
I am very surprised at some of the comments regarding his age. I remember him be a part of “In Living Color” In the early 90s. But compliments to him! 💪🏾
His line at 7:17 was looking crazy!
Aside from the last picture (which revealed an actual scar), it really just looked like Jamie had a few bad haircuts through the years caused by a barber pushing back his natural hairline.
Great video on a great actor. Jamie obviously was obsessed with his hair and did the work needed to bring him the satisfactory results he was looking for!
I think you should've done this video with a black hair barber, you'd get a much clearer picture. A bad barber can drastically mess up your hairline like trim it in such a a way it looks high, and if you don't let your hair grow out and keep getting cuts, you can for years look like you have a high hairline. Until you let it grow and go to a good barber. I've had this issue with my sides and forehead hairline.
That last surgeon hooked him up, wow. Even in the spider man movie, you can see how great his hairline is.
🗣I knew it, I knew it, I KNEW IT😂🤣😂 I knew Jamie had done that hair transplant stuff🥴 cause it just kept looking “too perfect” as he got older.. pretty much at this point I’m thinking all male celebrities in Hollywood do the hair transplant thing🤷🏾♂️😅😂😬
They are rich so why not lol
You seem to be a little bit too happy there buddy about another man's hair lol.
Very informative I need that surgery.
Could really do with your advice. I've ordered oral minoxidil as I've been using topical and feel as though it isn't having a great affect now.. I'm in the uk and got talking to a chemist about oral minoxidil. He started telling me about all the side effects. Are the side effects very common? He said heart rate, swilling
We need an update! He's back to his Norwood zero 2005 hairline! It looks incredible. But I wanna know how he achieved it.
I wasn't sure but I knew he did something❤👌
