I don’t care if I go bald in my late 30s but I don’t wonna be bald in my 20s so I’m definitely getting one
Im 21, i got the transplant 3 months ago, and so far everything is going well, i will use minoxidil and whatever it takes to keep it but just like you, getting bold in my 20s aint it
Right now I'm 22 and I'm panicking. I'm losing it and have the same point of view. I won't be mad losing it in my 30's but in 20's? This is breaking me because I don't have enough money to get a transplant. I'm getting a job soon so I can save some money for it. I hope god will help me because I need 5-6 month to work.
You'll still care in your 30s. Hop on medication and see if you're stable or improving over 1-2 years, then a transplant is pretty safe in your 20s.
@@Dlazcano02I'd go for fin + min or fin only, a low dose topical fin if you're worried about sides. Something like 1-2 ml of 0.01% once a day, increase dose if it doesnt get better at 6 months. It inhibits less dht than oral but it's also less effective, expect something like 30-50% reduction.

The Right routine for good hair and preventing hair fall and dandruff. 1. Scalp massage 2. Combing with a comb made of neem wood 3. Don't opt for very tight hairstyles 4. Avoid too much heat styling 5. Protecting your hair from the sun 6. Keep yourself hydrated 7. Healthy diet 8. Proper sleep 9. Deep conditioning treatment. After applying oil, keep your hair in a hot towel for sometime 10. Hot oil application and frequent cleansing with organic oil and shampoo cleanser from littleextrra cocoonioon 11. Yoga poses with head down postures that promote blood circulation and stimulate the hair follicles.
Also come down to genetics, if you produce more dht you will experience hairloss no if ands or buts, only being on finasteride or dutasteride will stop the follicles shrinking, then all those things you said are applicable and would improve hair quality, hut your not magically gonna change your horomone levels and fix your hair, you need medication for that, and tbh as a 24 yo thats been on finasteride for 2 years yea igot a full head of hair but my mental health has tanked , because of the hormone fluctuating, and now if i come off itll fuck me up more, id lose muscle and my hair obviously, if i could go back i would embraced the bald and get covered in tattoos or something, look up post finasteride syndrome if your interested on learning about the side effects of hairloss meds

I’m 20 and my hair receeded so much from the temples, the crown and the top, I shave my head with a razor every 2 days, I’m bald. My hair is as receeded as my 45+ year old dad. I don’t think it will thin more than that, do you still think I should wait until my late 20’s to get a transplant ? I’m also growing a cool beard right now with the help of minoxidil, if I look good with a beard and bald I think I’ll just stay that way.
I would be careful in your stage man. Your dads hair loss stage doesn’t mean you have to reach it also by his current age. You could look worse than that in the future.

There’s something to be said about just accepting the balding and not taking extra medication just to prevent it.
@@nareshgupta2503If you're capable of loving yourself that way, go for it. But I'll never love myself as a bald guy. Has nothing to do with age.. depends on how far you are in the hair loss cycle. There’s plenty of dudes who already lost it al in their 20s and get big area transplants that come out good. It’s because Rooney did only the hairline which is always a bad idea
Very stupid comment, but I guess you know more than the world’s top surgeons who use age as a major deciding factor. Hair loss is unpredictable and you have NO idea how poorly those transplants will age over the next few decades.

only has to do with how DHT affects you personally at the follicles on your head . DHT shreds your hair , you can obviously get lab work done and see if how it’s going to affect you and take precautions , dht doesn’t have affects on me or my hair .
@@michaelsteven8143 Of course it has to do with how DHT affects you, and the overwhelming amount of men don't need lab work to know that it will progressively shred their hair. That's why the most ethical surgeons will only work on patients in their 20s if they're committed to lifelong medication.

I’m literally at norwood 5 at 20 years old. Just got my hair transplant done on the front and hopping on fin in a month for the vertex area. Possibly get a second transplant in a couple years. But so much for the first point. I’ve been balding since I was 14 and if I waited longer, I wouldn’t even have enough hair for a transplant.
I‘m also thinking about a transplant at one point. My hairline looks weird (I‘m 23). I just plan to equal the right corner to the left one. How is your experience with the hair transplant? Does the transplanted hair looks natural?
@@UnknownUser_10 My transplant was on monday, so i can’t tell yet but i’m confident that it will look good and natural from the front, I’ve seen their work. My only concern now is to preserve my crown, which also has majorly thinned out by now. Thinking about finasteride since minoxidil hasn’t been working like it used to.
@@UnknownUser_10 But honestly, if I were you, I would wait. Just because it’s weird doesn’t mean you have to get a transplant now. So extremely aggressive.
@@ishanshah4904Thanks for your response. I‘m just waiting probably. I don’t want to use medication. I can’t even take my vitamin pills on a daily base. Always forgetting it. I probably will just wait some more years and when I‘m older I will get a transplant for my temple area.
At that stage HT is fine even if you are in your 20s.
Im in the same boat , I’m in my 30s. My hair has been falling out very very very slowly for years. I had the hairline transplant done to strengthen it. @@devontae7262 I think the issue might be in the mechanism these medications use to save the hair, ie affecting blood flow etc. Not sure exactly what each one’s health issue is but I think in my case even the natural alternative medication affects my system the same way as minoxidil / finasteride, so I wouldn’t be able to use them either :/

Age is not a major factor. The definition of you hair loss is the driving factor. If your hair loss is well defined at age 22, a transplant is fine. If you get a transplant because of a little thinning, then its not a good idea
Getting one in your 20’s is ok as long as you’re using preventative measures
Talking about hair loss ..the guy himself is losing his hairline already 😂💀
Your hair looks good 🎉
I am 25 years old with baldness and look 60 years old. All of my family have strong hair. Do you recommend hair transplantation??
Yes
Can prp or stem cell be used instead of finasteride or minoxidil?
With Wayne Rooneys money he could go for a face transplant also.😅
Nothing wrong with your being in your 20s and getting a HT, as long as your hair loss has stabilised with medical therapy. My hair is extremely thick since I've been on finasteride, but I have temporal recession at 25. I will absolutely be getting a transplant before I'm 30.
Is medication always needed once you noticed hair loss. My hairline was never straight, but it went deeper from age 18 to 19 and was a ~Nw2.5 then. I‘m 24 and a half now and since then no further changes. Still the same hairline and my density is still great.
Is a hair transplant without being on medication ok or rather not?
@@UnknownUser_10 I would say so, because hair loss isn't linear. I went from a Norwood 1.5 to Norwood 2.5-3 in the blink of an eye. One day I woke up and said "where did my hair go?". The purpose of medical therapy once you have a hair transplant is to retain the hair living behind the newly transplanted area, which is often coming from a DHT safe zone (back of the head). If you're in your mid 20s like I am, you'll want to make use of the drugs available to you to keep your hair for as long as possible.
I have friends who went to Turkey to get their hair transplants and both were 27, 28 but they are not taking Finasteride. And I tell them that they risk having other hair fall out and they simply don’t believe me because the doctors never told them they have to be on finasteride to control further hair loss. I guess they will learn the hard way eventually.
Its possible to not progress past norwood 7 or 6. A lot of the time hairs at the back and sides are not effected by dht
My barber did a hairtransplant in uae for about 2k dollars and he never used post transplant medications and his hair still looks great two years after his transplant. I guess It differs from a person to another. He massages his scalp once a day for minutes and some studies shows that scalp massage does a good job to keep hair healthy.
@@chungusultimate you think some people stabilize by the end of their 20s ? Or if you are n4 in your 20s that automatically means n6/7 later

@@seanisgone I disagree respectfully. You do what you have to do within what’s allowed to you (ie either a HT without medication or a toupee, fibers etc)

Stress is the #1 cause of hair loss, both in males and females. Stress seriously messes with both male and female hormones. Stress can be hereditary as well.. That's why many are affected.
Girls are happier and giggly this is the reason they are more stress tolerant.. and retain more hair volume.
Hi. Appreciate som advice. I am having ht in 25 days but I am freaking out already. I am 39 with nw 3. I have been loosing since about I was 20 year. @Fazil Saif Finasteride works on the hair, but I definitely noticed reduced libido 🤷♂️ if you use the medication I recommend taking the lowest amount possible.
