Usui-San, may I know what type of jazz music is this?
Para uma pessoa está ótimos só achei pouco claro l 83, 00 iene aluguel por mês do micro -apartamento
Usui - are there micro apartments similar to this that are really condominiums for sale - about how much would they cost? At least the higher ceiling makes the apartment feel a bit bigger than it really is.
I think what amazes me the most is how some people can take 162 sq ft. & make an absolutely wonderfully adorable apartment while others take the same space & make it completely unlivable. This apartment is great! Thanks Usui!!!
The pictures Usui uses for the rope ladders always make me laugh! They look so cool calm and collected. I would seriously be freaking out! Thank you Usui for a little humor!
Ok typed that comment before I saw Usui hoping that Spidey would save us! Back at you Usui!!
Thanks for your comment!
I don't like those rope ladders...😅🪢
Good morning, Usui-san (at least here in the US). I think that a 15 sqm apartment that cannot hold a permanent bed has a badly designed layout. But I do like the architectural details of the sloped roof etc., and the color scheme. If the toilet and bed space were flipped, I think a bed would fit. Or the kitchenette and refrigerator could be placed on the same wall as the bathroom. 15sqm is a lot of space, if properly designed. The outside looks nice, as well. You can tell it is fairly new. Thank you for sharing.
That apartment has everything you need except room to sleep and work. Yikes.
I like this one. Windows in both sides is nice. I think a fold up bed would work, it would only be awkward while you sleep, then fold it up and you have your space back. I would put a curtain on the door glass, maybe a magnetic rod.
I like it too. My first thought was a pull out soda bed. If I was single, I would love a place like that.
Even when the apartment sucks [like this one] I really enjoy the soundtrack! You have exquisite taste in music!
So wonderful for the architect to place a small window that partially opens up to see the neighbors windows. And that being the only window to use the escape ladder, which ends up next to your own stairs outside, rendering it useless. 😂
This one is alright to me, feels cozy. Fit in a Loft bed, a small table by the window next to the washing machine and it's a nice bed/living room. It's better for sure compared to the previous ones.
Micro apartments are like people. Each have different personalities. This one likes to brag they have enough room for you in their life, but they don’t real space! ❤
It’s a bit of a shame, if the roof wasn’t slanted you could put in a nice loft and still have room for a small sofa and work area/tv space beside the closet-side window. The bathroom is a bit larger but no toilet paper shelf. One could be made with extension bars so no holes in the walls. The rent isn’t as good as the last apartment though. Thanks for sharing this video!
This is really nice except for the lack of bed space. OTH a fold out chair bed would still work and there's enough space next to the wardrobe for a laptop desk!
Thanks for your comment!🥰
You're right, I can put a laptop desk there!👩💻
Yes, a fold out chair bed could solve the awkward lack of bed space! Good idea! I had not thought of a laptop desk either, which is particularly strange since I have one in my own room. LOL.
The high ceilings are nice for a sense of space, but yes, will pose a heating/cooling and dusting problem. Not my favorite design.
@@DawnDavidson I have a mini splits in my bedrooms and the main living/dining room. Unlike central air, you can control the up/down direction of air flow. In that tiny of a space it shouldn't be a problem. Also the beam can be cleaned standing on a chair with a broom.
I would invest in a Murphy bed, you can fold it away and it looks like a closet, you can just leave the bed covered, which also makes it more convenient, because having to keep putting away all the blankets and pillows also takes up time and space that you than can use for other things! Ideal.
Love from an old rebel-Pinkie
A small sofa bed or a chair bed would be possible. A camping cot with a nice foam mattress cut to size would work in these situations.
I like this one best. I have a shorter bed that would fit in that space, and the nook on the other side (next to the closet) would suit a small desk for a laptop. I like the bathroom, and the general spaciousness! I would definitely rent this one if I were in Tokyo.
Folding bed or hang from the closet rod like a bat! If well-insulated and/or electricity is included in rent, this gets points for a clever usage of space; however, sloped ceiling spaces can be difficult to cool/heat. Nice wet bath with tub. Over the toilet free-standing shelving for towels and toilet paper!
what a great unit!! love the sloped ceiling.
Despite the space, it’s very badly designed.
I agree, at first glance it gives the impression of something spacious (mostly because of the colours), but when you start to think of the practical details it is very inconvenient
Nice to see hydrangea season & Spidey has his plant too 🪴💜🩷🤍😊 it seems like a futon would be best in this apartment with its awkward shaped wall. Good amount of storage & space for appliances. I liked the bathroom & bathroom dehumidifier always gets bonus points from me 😄
That seems to be a good apartment.
The bathroom is spacy and you have room for a washing machine and a fridge.
I don't know, if you could fit a bed AND a desk in the living area...
The sloped ceiling is high enough, so no problem.
You're right. The ceiling in this room is high, so that's not a problem. But I can't fit a bed here.😅
A sofa bed would do with a foldable table or a Murphy bed. The flat has everything and looks ok. A bit pricey though considering that with such geometrical design you can only have foldable furniture.
Thank you for sharing. Looking forward to our next video 🍀
I like it , but the problem is the bed . It's expensive too . Thank you for the video❤
add one loft bed with a desk underneath and it's gonna be a wrap! I love this!
I don't like the clothes closet right next to the cooking area (even with the exhaust fan), and brushing my teeth and washing dishes in the same sink. Also, no place to put even a table and chair. The sloped ceiling gave the room a bit of style, though.
I like this one, feels different, also loving the mini bathtub
I just watched another of your micro apartment videos. That one had a tiny fridge and laundry in the basement, but it had two good options for the bed. This one has just one not-ideal choice, and it's more expensive.
I actually like this one, with those ceilings its not so boxed in, feels bigger some how. Small bed will do just fine!
I wanted to like this one. I started out enjoying the overall look, that it has 2 gas burners and even a small food prep area on the right side of the sink. But then it was obvious the shape was not easy to work with, not being able to fit furniture in. I think this one may need a loft to make it work.
I actually think this is well designed! I’d put a suitcase on that wall over the washer and shelves in there as well. You can put a shelving unit over the toilet for towels, linens and paper products. I’d do a medium fridge and then do some shelving over that for a rice cooker, microwave and a toaster oven (or an all in one unit). The genkan is GREAT! And I think a single bed or futon sofa would fit against the black wall.
😊
Spidey likes his plant!
I actually like a lot about this one except for the windows and door. If you can put up window curtains they really didn't need the privacy film which keeps you from being able to have a view if you wanted to, and the door needs to be solid. Otherwise it's really not that bad compared to some of the others. It seems bright and airy.
I think it’s very unique. I would move in. ❤🇨🇦
Liked the bathroom and putting in toilet roll storage would be fairly easy. Do you have Sofa Beds in Japan? That way you could have a reasonable bed then a usable living room during the day...? Maybe?
In France, there's a folding bed we named BZ... because it's folded in the shape of Z. The mattress could be a futon (or what some French people see as a futon). 😅
9:05 Instead of Loft Bed, maybe a Murphy Bed can be considered?
Murphy bed allow work desk and bed in one, folding up/down for bed or table.
Of-course, the floor plan is challenging.
Though this micro-apartment looks very clean and modern, I really like the black accent wall with AC unit to match, it seems the builders really wasted space. They could have created a loft space to utilize the high slopped ceiling 😞. That would have freed-up space below in the area you have to somehow fit a full-sized (fold-up/roll-up) bed in. Instead, that space could have been used for an office desk or seating area to relax, and the bed could have been placed in the loft area. All that said, it is a really nice-looking living space and there are some great features like the placement of the washing machine, a nook for the refrigerator, closet/storage spaces, and the toilet/bathtub/shower is well planned out! I am curious, many of the toilet rooms that you have shown do not have a storage rack. There is plenty of space for placement of one (in most cases) - especially, in this one because of the slopped ceiling, as far as materials cost, it is not that much for a board of lumber, four brackets, and four wall screws, right? Thank you again for sharing your micro-apartment adventures, it's always a delightful treat watching your videos 🙂!!
The sloped ceilings can be nice as an esthetic, but it’s mostly wasted space that could have had a few high shelves for storage at least. The location of the toilet and shower make it hard to place other furniture in the living space without blocking the doors. Very impractical layout. But the apartment is different and interesting.
Oh! I am late for this video. Thank you, Usui-San ❤
This is a lovely tiny micro apartment , i wish to have one like it✌️
Wonderful location, nice and well equipped, instead of the folding bed I would put a sofa bed with a small table. The slope of the ceiling for me is normal, here in northern Italy the houses are all like this and those who live in attics have these ceilings. Very bright, quite overpriced.
Wow a closet!
i would switch the closet and ref areas and if the wall didn't have a weird angle, a bed could fit
The sloped ceiling is nice as it makes it feel bigger. It would be awkward for getting everything in though. The angle change on the wall I think makes it a little tough. Really hard to say if I would want to try it out.
Love the windows!!
Good luck evacuating our of those small windows😉😉
It’s a nice apartment, wish the only wall to put the bed was not slanted.
It's just that where I live you can rent an entire 3 bedroom house with huge garden for that price! My 2 bedroom flat with huge garden, huge Ovington, seperately kitchen, cost £55,000 to buy. I'm in Scotland, not a city to be fair. But only half an hour away from one.
I was so hopeful, but despite more space, shelves for shoes and more, an actual closet, a space for a full size refrigerator and washer, a decent size bathroom with tub and lots of natural , there is not space for a bed and desk based on the layout. The price is excellent for the square footage and amenities, it’s just the useable open space that is poorly designed. Also, I am not sure I would want a frosted glass door, I would have to place something like peel and stick wallpaper on the inside of the door to feel safe.
Love the shoe storage, spaces for fridge and washer, the closet, the clothes line, and the size of the bathroom. I'd build a lofted bed over by the aircon, but I'm concerned about the amount of space. Hm 🤔
Love the black wall and sloped ceiling, but not enough living space...especially for the money.
Esse seria um 10 de 10 com certeza.
Esse apartamento é uma graçinha!
Banheira enorme
I'm indifferent to the angled ceilings and the window view doesn't bother me since that means people wouldn't see me either. If I could figure out how to get a computer desk and a bed in that room then we'd be golden.
I like the music.
I would put a loft bed with desk underneath from Ikea, Along the wall.
Put a storage container in closet for socks and underwear. Still will have room for hanging clothes.
Entrance way bottom area for shoe storage. Then rest turn into a food pantry.
Under sink all my cleaning supplies.
Shelf in closet will be used for general storage.
I can live with sloped ceiling if it's high enough, but if I can chose normal is better.
The light here is good, although I couldn't live with frosted glass, I like to look out. And then have heavy curtains to block view when needed.
The wardrobe takes up too much room. The clothes could be stored hanging over the laundry machine and socks and such in boxes in some of the shoe shelves.
Then possibly a small desk could be where the wardrobe is now, or at least a folding table.
This is not the worst apartement I've seen, but it depends on one having a comfortable enough folding bed.
Curtains in front of entrance door.
It has a tub, I could live there. I would get a chair that folds out to a bed
Some nice features, but such an awkward layout! Also, I am way too hypervigilant for a glass door.
晒衣繩和通風孔是在台灣沒有的設計,我喜歡晒衣繩,在室內空間很好運用~😊👏
You have to use a slim bed with underneath storage and put the desk into clothing niche, but nice to see a bathtub and the glass door brings in more light. TV space?
Можно было поставить диванчик маленький , чтобы раскладывался вперёд к шкафу. стиральную машину с вертикальной загрузкой там и места хватит над ней для полки , у окна узкий 20 см столик и стул даже поместится
I actually really love this one. It's so bright! I'd use some kind of foldable bed right next to the bathroom/toilet door. I only sleep 4-5 hours and I need space for a desk more than a bed.
I like all the materials and appliances, but there a lot of wasted space... and a loft to use the height and slope ceilings will be a good solution on this space.
Love it !!!!
I think the odd angle of the floor space and no toilet paper storage is it's downfall. I'm not opposed to slanted ceilings but having a folding bed not fit properly against a wall is a pain.
Неплохой вариант!
Apartment Cat says, "The rent seems a bit steep for that apartment." (pun) "Too much frosted glass makes it cold." (2nd pun) 😸
😆😺
I like the storage but confused on how to arrange furniture without it being constantly in the way
❤❤🇰🇪
It could have at least had space to put a bed, but it was nice for that price.
The last one was so much better. 😂
Es muy bonito me gustaron los colores y el techo le da mucha personalidad al apartamento, soy chiquita si entra mi cama 😅
I like it, in France you have sometimes badly appartement, small and more expensive that this one. It is well organize.😉
No me pierdo tus videos ,gracias por compartir tus conocimientos Usui un saludo para ti y para spiderman.te veo desde Perú .
Gracias por tu comentario.🥰🇵🇪
This micro apartment has many things going for it, i.e., location, price, it's new. However, it's layout doesn't allow for a regular bed and desk OR toilet paper storage! I will pass on this one. Thank you, Usui-san, for taking us to visit another Tokyo micro apartment. 👍👏❤ P.S. Who wants to live in an apartment with a full-length frosted front door? Privacy, please. 😲
Sofa bed would have worked with a foldable desk. I was expecting 25% more for the rent
狭くても実用的でいい家ですね
コメントありがとうございます🥰
Interesting 🤔
Frosted glass manages simultaneously to provide lack of privacy when used in front door and make space more suffocating when used in windows.
I really wanted to like this place since it is so visually interesting. But I just can't see how a bed plus a desk could be set up in this space. I guess a futon and a tiny desk might work, but, if I were looking for a place in Tokyo, I would continue the hunt.
Sloped ceiling okay for a short person. It's nice, the bathing room with a tub is delightful. If the living space were just a little longer there could be room for a bed. This was designed by a human?
Super caroooo
This is one of my favorites! I would live in a micro apartment like this!
Thanks for your comment!
Not bad has space for washer and fridge and nice private bathroom and shower room
Just a very small living space
Take care and see you in next video ❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you for always comment!🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
@usui503 you are very welcome
And thank you for the heart ❤️

@@usui503 your welcome 🤗🤗🤗
Thank you for another heart ❤️
The second flower that you showed us was a lilac, rather than hydrangea. Do you like lilac too? I like how they look and smell.
I really like that this one has a bathtub. The bathroom door makes it a little harder to put furniture, though. It's still a nice looking place.
Maybe a hammock to sleep in? lol
Sleeping in a hammock sounds like a great idea!🥰
Интересно. Я бы наверно не смогла в таком пространстве жить)
Кое где есть недостатки... жаль не поставить кровать-чердак. А так супер!
I really liked it until you showed how the bed won't fit! If they had arranged things a little differently it would be a perfect micro apartment. I like the sloped roof a lot, feels cosy.
whit these money in México, you can get a house whit gardeen, two flors, in clouse circuit.
Hi Usui! I think that the micro of episode 44 is much better than this one and cheaper if I recall correctly. The glass entry door isn’t ideal for me because the lack of privacy.
I don't think I would like a frosted glass front door. If the light is on inside and its dark outside you would be making a shadow puppet show for all the neighbours!
Shadow puppet show...!!!😅🖼️
I think we need to use sofa bed because of the shape of the room, and then the rent can negotiate to 75K. 🤭
A definite no. The frosted glass is the deal breaker.
Buy a curtain.
Buy a curtain.
This apartment would be perfect for me if the walls were straight. I don't mind a sloped ceiling but I like straight box-like walls. Other than that though, I really like this one and could totally see myself in it. ❤
They could have added a loft with all that ceiling space but it pains me that they didn't 🥲
Clearly space design wasn't in mind when they made this one... A shame really :(
The kitchenette should've been against the other wall. Then there would be a straight wall to place the bed against
You're absolutely right!🤯
At least it has a decent amount of storage, frosted entrance is a big no but an easy fix, too bad for the bed space 😅
The sloped ceiling is an interesting effect. I would use a futon or a sofa bed so that it's easy to put away. You do have a lot of storage. Having the tp storage so far away from the bathroom when you need it may be a problem unless you find some shelves you can put in the bathroom. I may feel a little claustophobic with the ceiling like that, though. Another wonderful find, though. There is a home for everyone.
I don’t mind the ceiling…but no real bed? No!
El techo inclinado está bien, pero no entra una cama!😅
