    Reduced the counter shaft sprocket from a 13 to a 12 tooth on my yz 125. A little less top end, but the gain in torque was deffenitly worth it for the tighter sections and coming out of corners. Nice vid.

    • @EverySingleSunday
      @EverySingleSunday  Před 10 měsíci

      If you went from 11/52 to 14/48 your bike will be much faster on the top end but will definitely not have the low end power you had before. You’ll probably need to ride a gear lower I’m guessing

    its 12/50 for me all day. With a six speed transmission you have all the speed you need when its needed. NO PROBLEM! 1st only ever gets used through the most gnarly terrain and you can crawl without a ton of clutch work and climb hills at 2mph if you want. 2nd and 3rd become a dream on tight single track.

    yeah my KTM has the 13/50 or 14/50 one of those two that came stock on the bike. i also went up from a 110 to a 120/90/19 for better grip. i'm fixin to do maybe a 13/48-13/49 idk i've lost all knowledge on sprockets when it comes to dirt bikes.
