Boxcutter 719_11 out now.
In this video I show a first attempt at a laundry jug. Typically by the time I record a workflow strategy has been refined however first attempts are also fun due to the randomness and potential for failure and the learning opportunities. Enjoy!

Great planning of super simplistic loops (sneaky triangle around the handle area), making the mesh more grid-ified and equidistant with polys later on! Super cool use of 'Make' with Boxcutter too to create the starting shape of the jug (creating a box and moving points, which works too but... meh). Also cool that you can grab the handles with 'Make' after you're done drawing it to Bevel versus pressing B during its creation.😗

probably locally subdivide and detail. Part of the demo was to explain that some geo is too sparse for certain details.

Hi, I've just grabbed BC+HardOps. I'm having some issues as I am using a wacom tablet so I have no mouse wheel. Have you got any recomendations on how to get the wheel features else where? Thanks

If you ever come back, you plan on doing retopo vids? manual retopo works for me as a good alternative to unfathomably complex shapes

Do you take recommendations for videos?
I'd love to see how you go about making normal maps for high to low poly assets.
(My models usually have a big ugly noticeable seam on the low poly where a smooth bevel is supposed to be on my high poly.)

if you finish the work, you can find out that the cap does not fit into the model of the bottle and the top of the bottle needs to be enlarged and rounded) but the lesson is good - stamped plastic products are the most difficult for me so far
