I love your tutorial
I've just started to use blockbench but on my entity, the grid is too big so I cant add the eyes. can you help???
hello sir pls help me i cant get my pack to show in minecraft help me pls:C
11:04 how do i get pack.mcmeta
Hey the tutorial pack link for 1.17 doesn't work
Or maybe I'm just misunderstanding something
I tried to copy it into notepad++ and it didnt work
Penguin Cannon was not a resource pack i could select
Voice and mannerisms arenât annoying, Well spoken with a well edited video, Intro isnât him spam rotating the camera and crouching, tutorial shows all commands and inputs used, and the tutorial concept is adorable. This is probably the best Minecraft tutorial Iâve ever seen
Thanks! I'm glad you appreciate the effort that went into it! Spam rotating the camera and crouching for intros is one of my pet peeves lol. It's *so* tempting but so terrible to watch!
This man needs more subs. He's more professional than like half the youtubers i watch
so what you're saying is, i need to be twice as unprofessional? đ

Canât relate :( I donât use block bench so everything about block bench I hear, is new đą
We always can learn new things there is nothing perfect
Even for a one hour video, it's crazy how concise this whole thing is! I really appreciate how much respect you have for our time, (even if some most of us will probably turn it onto 2x speed still) and how valuable all this info is. :D
Thanks! I noticed many beginner tutorial were these looong multi-part series. I tried to make one that (while long) would be a good introduction to everything you need to know, while actually making something that looks pretty good! I'm really glad you liked it :D :D :D :D
@@Legitimoose how do i create an mcmeta file
@@mnep5 to create a datapack?
@@mnep5 The way I did it was make a text file using notepad, put everything that I needed inside the text file, and simply changed the .txt to a .mcmeta
In fact, I think you can also use notepad to open .mcmeta files, so you don't even need to convert back to a .txt to edit them
Every 3D modelling tutorial ever:
Step 1) Delete Default Cube
Step 2) Add Default Cube
www.reddit.com/r/blender/comments/o5i8pt/where_all_default_cubes_go/ lol
no its
Step 1: delete chicken model
step 2: create body of pengiun
For people using a newer version of Blockbench, the "load CEM template" is located in "tools".
I'm assuming filters has just been renamed to tools
BRUH thank you so much for this comment. This is exactly what I needed to know. I thought I was losing it.
But it wont be a optifine entity
@@JillesDelleart You can convert it to one
@@renthgarthetree How do you do that?
@@DorianUdland In files right under save project is a convert project button
This is the most useful/entensive blockbench tutorial and it turned out beautifully, i hope youve found more of the confidence you deserve to feel since making this and thank you for putting it out here for all of us to use đđ
I watched this entire video, and I can strongly say that every second helped me learn about Animations, Entity Models, Custom Items/Weapons, etc. Thank you so much for making this tutorial!!!

@@PenguinGaming77 Yes brother.
This is by far the best datapack/blockbench/anything changed video I've been able to find! Thank legitamoose for going so in depth and getting all the little details : ]
Thank you so much! I've always needed to know how to do things like this.
You are so welcome! Blockbench is amazing, I can't believe software this good is free.
I've been wanting to create a custom modpack for my friends and I, and part of it is I wish I could create "crystalline" mobs and I think this video will go a long way to helping me replace the basic mob models with something a bit more thematically accurate
You're an incredible teacher. Very easy to understand you.
Liked and subscribed! This tutorial is fantastic. I went from knowing nothing about where to even start in blockbench to having what feels like a good starting point for making my own tools and mobs. You did an incredible job.
Awesome, thank you! This one was a ton of work and I'm so glad it's serving its purpose! :D
Finding your channel was like finding paradise. I love the Assassin's Creed series and now I'm thinking about the things I can model and the textures I can do.
It is a pity that there are no updated mods, I found one for Assassins Creed a long time ago but it was for an old version.
I wish you had more than a million subscribers because you deserve them.
The most hyped video yet!!
You better believe it! I worked long and hard on this badboy :D

This might be long, but prob the best learning guide EVER! So detailed, yet you make it so simple. I liked and subbed within 30 seconds into the vid. I started a day ago, thinking this would take years but you have made it so much simpler. Tysm!
does it work in 1.19?
@@Lemonade156 idk ive been trying but i cant get the data pack to work
Really cool tutorial! There's almost nothing like this on yt. Been searching for optifine animations for ages! Thank you! Can you make more of these optifine toturials? I've been working on some custom shulker box models and animations but can't get it to work. Would love to see a tutorial made for custom shulker box models with the renaming feature.
Thanks! I'll definitely consider making more. There's a lot more to show! I know there's some awesome new tools coming out soon(ish) too, and once those are out I'll definitely try and be quick on the tutorial-making. I might also have to investigate the custom shulker box models, I pretty much assumed they were one of the models that didn't work (it seems like they do work though! according to internet at least) Glad you liked the video!

Yeah I also decided to do something similar. I don't know if I'll ever reach the point of texturing things for maps, but I let this video run for the yt algorithm.
@@Legitimoose how do i create an mcmeta file
Awww the penguin is so cute
Yep! You can model a bow exactly the same way as I did the cannon :D You can even open the default bow model in blockbench if you want to base yours off it and replace it. The bows in MCC were such a cool touch, good luck!
@@Legitimoose thx! :D
@@Legitimoose oh btw for the bow do I need optifine for it to work?
Thank you so much, you honestly have the best tutorial videos in the existance of youtube
Thanks Hexaclone! :D
I find these videos very helpful and I learn many new things from them.
Amazing video!
I am still having a problem tho. I'm making a horse a custom model, and whenever I try to add in "animations" to the jem file (because it didn't exist for the horse), I can't get any animations to work. All the premade horse folders in blockbench are untouched, and no matter which "submodels" I put the "animations" after, none work. The formatting and all the names for the parts are correct, too.
Edit: Fixed! When putting in the animations, I needed to put "body:back_left_leg2" instead of just the body part. I don't know why that happened or why it needed to be done for me, but if anyone's having that problem, try doing "main_folder:body_part2": "body_part".
Awesome, glad you got it working! And thanks for the tip, I hope someone finds this helpful!
I don't know if I did something wrong but, when I started the entity animation step. Instead of "rotation.rx" I got "this.rx"
same idk why
thanks for this tutorial even though its a hour its straight to the point which is nice
Thank you so much for the tutorial! It helped so much to understand everything in general!
Is there a way so that each model and texture only applies to named mobs?
You can actually make a new mobs and add them using only 2 plugins model engine for the mob and mythic mobs to make it kinda alive.
Hi Remyđ

I almost watched like 4 times all your tutorial videos, thx a lot man :3
Pov: *Your here from Minecraft live*
For those, who have never loaded a penguin into a cannon... What are you doing with your life.
I watched the entire video with no intentions of actually doing it. I just thought it was interesting to watch. Great video.
You are an amazing mooser! Thanks for the cool tutorial and the steep learning curve haha. I'm very happy to subscribe! Cheers
Is there a way to make these not replace existing mobs?
There _is_, but I didn't have time to include it in the video. Optifine doesn't support alternate _models_, but it does support alternate _textures_. The idea is that you make 2 models in 1 file. When one texture is used the other model has no texture. That would make a good tutorial topic actually... Although if you _need_ this now there aaaare some other tutorials that I _suppose_ could be used đ (they're actually quite good lol)
@@Legitimoose I just found this video yesterday. It's very good! But I was wondering if you ever did a follow up video on this without replacing the existing mobs or if you could perhaps point me to one of these other tutorials that explain how this is done?
