Progress Update - Floor Pan Prep (Timelapse)

Over the weekend we dropped out the old drivetrain to get the car ready for floor pan replacement. We had some assistance from our friend Josh who aspires to work on cars himself one day.
Next episode we'll start fitting up pans, cutting out the old ones, and then welding in the new ones!

Very cool! As a teen I had a wonderful neighbor who let me help him work on his 70s Baja Bug. Glad the car mentorship thing still continues. After all, without regard to politics, it does take a village.

😢 i had a 68 mustang that i shoehorned a inline 300 in it… it was a rust bucket but i had put so much time and effort into making it drivable again… then one day my dad comes over to “help” me wrench on it, he wanted to pull the doors off and i told him not to… didnt listen, broke all the bolts on the ps door and made the car undrivable after that, then like two months later my wife told me there was a surprise on the way so bye bye mustang
