- When it's still winter and birds are hiding somewhere warm, you've got to be a bit creative in order to watch birds. While I'm working from home, and have Djinn laying on my desk, I sacrifice a piece of my computer screen to show bird TV. Djinn actually watches it! Do you see him pointing with his paw to the screen in the first few seconds of the video? He was very confused about where the birds were going once they left the screen. So adorable!
Chicken!!! Mmmmm....lol.
When I saw Djinn react to the birds, I thought, "Now that's HDTV!"
I was expecting him to jump forward😁
Bye bye screen!
Hello Djinn you look handsome, good to see you...❤🦊
Happy 4th birthday Djinn :3
What a clever idea! It's obvious he is enjoying watching the birds and isn't acting as though he's at all stressed or trying to chase them, to the contrary, he looks very calm and relaxed. Very cool entertainment and his attention to it is fun to see. Love you, Djinn.
I needed to find a video that had a contrasting background and colorful birds, so he could see them properly. His little paw against the screen and him looking around where the birds went, was so cute.
When he thought it actually flew off-screen I was like "DAWWWWW." 😍😍
Where it gooo?
He's all ears!
Excellent idea. Good enrichment. 🐦
Owwww so cute
Awww, wrapped up all comfy in the blanket and watching videos...definitely living the good life.
Someone is living his best life😃
I wonder how Djinn would react if he would see other fennec foxes ???
But maybe it's not such a good idea. He may have the blues, being by himself.
He reacts to videos with fennec sounds, but gets scared and runs away instead of getting curious. We do know some other fennec foxes, but are still cautious to take Djinn to them because of the possibility to transmit diseases.
Fennec (and Grey) foxes are known for getting the disease and die from dog vaccines instead of building up antibodies. So not many people let their fennecs get vaccinated, which makes it dangerous to get them in contact with each other and other Canines.
So, we (the other fennec fox owners as well) really want to get them to meet, but are still thinking about how to do this safely.

I understand. I too would be cautious too.
And even if the fennecs are very social, some of these little fellows can also be very aggressive at time (e.g. mating season) from what I've seen.

it doesn't take much to keep him entertained, does it? happy birthday Djinn!
Fennec Foxes can eat Birds as part of their diet!
"Hello everyfox! Today in Fox TV, we have bird watching!"
*bird videos*
"That's all for today foxes! Stay tuned for more in Fox TV!
Did Djinn watch mice or lizards on TV ?
That's a great idea! I haven't showed him yet, but I will try. He probably likes the noise they make.
@@DjinnTheFennecFox And Djinn saw wild foxes ( fennec fox) from the desert on TV ?
