    This is truly African and laborious way of roasting groundnuts or peanuts ooo.The European/English/ Oyinbo way, as you may have put it, equally produces the same results, but a lot quicker. I enjoyed watching the video, and your attempt to maintain traditional way of roasting groundnuts. I pray you all continue to do well in Malaysia .

      To answer your question, I didn't soaked it for to long, a secons it's ok, just be sure your water is very hot.
      For the temperature, you know oven deffers, I gave somebody the temperature I used and she end up burning the peanut, so I will advise you to monitor it while in the oven, hope this help? Thanks for watching and God bless you 💕

      if you feel that dust will affect it, cover it with a net or you can dry it with dehydrator, thanks

    Is it compulsory we put it out in the sun? Can we dry with fan? What is the essence of drying in the sun?

      If you don't want to put it out in the sun☀ you can dry it with your fan or air dryer.
      The essence of drying the peanut in the sun is to enable the peanut absorb the salt. Hope this helps. Blessings

      Thanks very much. But I still have issues in knowing when it's completely done, because I observed that even when the peels has started to peel off, the groundnut still feels soft and unroasted. Thanks
