  • Is a Fallout 3 Remaster finally in the works by Bethesda? Well if the latest Xbox Games Showcase was anything to go by, no. Well at least, not yet. There's every possibility that the Fallout 3 Remaster is currently being worked on, but isn't yet ready for the spotlight. After all, it was mentioned in last year's Bethesda leaks and with the recent success of the Fallout TV Show on Amazon Prime, Bethesda and Xbox would be silly to not have some kind of Fallout project on the go.
Despite my disappointment at the lack of an announcement at the Xbox Games Showcase, I still wanted an excuse to jump back into my favourite Fallout game of all time, Fallout 3. So I've been exploring some of the most iconic locations from the game and dreaming of their Remastered versions.

I feel people who ask for remasters, don't want new games to come out. And making people remaster games is directly taking them out of a new game. Granted 76 sucks, I would like to eventually be able to play fallout 4. My computer is younger than fallout 4 is and it won't even launch.
I don't want a remaster, I want a game that isn't made for the most advanced PC at the time. I can play fallout 3 and NV. Seems like they don't need to touch FO3 or NV unless you want it to be so "advanced"I can't even play that either.
I got fallout 4 and it won't even open. Bethesda needs to get their heads out of their arses. A game almost 10 years old can't run on a computer 5 years old. If they do release yet another remaster instead of making a good game, then all I can say is F bethesda and F the people who make bethesda think they are doing right by the fans.
I wonder what % of fans are the type that pre ordered something to get a fancy bag and not complain when it showed up not made of the material it was promised as. Must be that FO(and bethesda) has the biggest group of suckers ever. Though they did act surprised when a power armor helmet without any air holes got moldy...like they don't know anything about condensation and CLEANING...breathe into a closed mask, it gets wet, don't clean it and it gets moldy....some serious winners in bethesdas fan base. Brain dead imo.

Nostalgia is hell of a thing, I think most people would be stoked for a FO3 Remaster or the rumoured Oblivion one - It's an opportunity to re-experience a classic and a lot of people value that. For Bethesda, it would be a pretty safe move to keep fans engaged while they work on FO5.
I think we tend to forget that 90% of those that play video games aren't active in online discourse, just think about how much hate COD gets, but every year it's sells huge numbers and has millions of monthly players. Being too close to something can cause you to lose perspective.
