i've triggered a toilet trap by accident while trying to grab something else, but i've never "Fallen" for it genuinely
the carriage booby trap ALMOST got me the first time, but something felt odd and at the last second i remembered the story about WWII japanese "baby grenade" traps and reeled backwards just in time. i've gotten taken in by them repeatedly since though, just cause i'm being fast and reckless.

I REALLY wish that game had been included in Fallout 4. It seems simple enough to be worked in as a bizarrely meta RPG for the Pip-boy, even if it would have been a GIGANTIC pain for them to implement. But just imagine all the jokes we could have made, though!
What about Grognak & the Ruby Ruins? I would think a CRPG inspired by games such as The Bard's Tale and Ultima, would be an upgrade.
Although I definitely understand the entertaining simplicity of a text adventure.

Mad Johnny Wes... Sounds awfully like Wes Johnson, the guy who voiced Sheogorath, The Daedric Prince of Madness from The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.

Before this video, I honestly never knew toilet traps were a thing in fallout, nor did I know you could actually disable terminal traps. You learn something every day

I know I'm a little late but yeah I've fallen for the toilet trap. I was jamming to ACDC, and wasnt paying attention and for some reason I tried to "search" the toilet. I literally have no idea why either.

i used to use mines alot in Fallout 3 as by playing it over enough times i knew where enemy's respawned this was a major thing when dealing with Death Claws and Super Mutant population in central DC.

I'll admit, back when I first played FO3, I had to resort to drinking out of the toilet as I wasn't wise with my stims.
Weird, this version of Hubris seems like a far cry from the version we're presented with in FO4. This company seems almost respectable, while it felt like Bethesda was just aching to lampoon Hubris in 4. Chalk that up to another retcon of the lore, I suppose.
I seem to recall some of the writers on Fallout 4really did consider adherence to lore to be unnecessary and favoured gamification over strict world building.
A strong example is how guns went from being individually named in the lore with little backstories about their production and use, to being generic modular weapons which are perhaps better for gameplay with their modularity but severely dropped the ball on lore.
The DKS sniper rifle? Just vanished because hey, that hunting rifle upgrade is basically a sniper right? No need for two guns...and so on.
@@MediumRareOpinions Yea, I really hate 4s art style. It doesn’t even feel like FO4 takes place in the same world as 1, 2, 3, and NV. I mean, what happened to the gothic Art Deco style? They leaned way too hard into the jetsons. Plus the bastardization of the N-99 handgun is unforgivable, they butchered my boy. Plus like, why does the “combat rifle” even exist? The R-99 could have been just as modular. I mean, look at what the R-99 is based off of, the HK-55/G3 line of rifles, which are just as modular as the “combat rifle”
@@stuglife5514 for the combat Rifle it really does seem like a corner cutting exercise.
The combat Rifle is a kit bash off other weapon meshes.
The receiver is the combat shotgun, and it's magazine comes from the hunting Rifle, which is why it doesn't fit properly and the bolt is too short to cycle 308. bullets the magazine is designed to hold.
All the more curious? The assault Rifle from Fallout 3 appears in Fallout 4 in one place...a sign above a merchant stall in Diamond City's marketplace.

@@ErKtheErK The main thing I was pointing out was the absurd number of views and subs compared to the initial engagement. Most videos as time goes on maintain a relatively constant ratio of like and dislike to view count, but this video had high views and low engagement early on even with a high sub count. It's intriguing.

The only time I ever drink out of toilets is when I am playing a modded play-through with hardcore survival mode physics. Even then it's in the ultra-rare situation that I am losing health, don't have anything else to drink, and am still stocked up on radaway. For example, That Feral Goul Reaper @ 19:50 would kill you in two hits on survivor mods. Maybe 4 if you had some top-tier armor.

I haven't tested it, but I would assume the smoking machine was intended by Bethesda to obscure the turrets or Johnny Wes's ability to spot you as you cross the room.

Antagonizer got her name from the comic book, just like the mechanist. That's why when you meet them it's very odd the way the speak to each other, very cartoony.

even without direct confirmation, the clearly comic text bubble style dialogue, use of the Hubris intellectual property, similar origin, and the prevalence of surviving Grognak comics in the wasteland, it's almost 100% probable that the modern AntAgonizer suffered the same origin, found a copy of that issue of grognak the barbarian and identified with the character, and adopted the persona as her own in an attempt to redefine her completely destroyed life, traumatized psyche and helplessness by taking on an alternate, more stalwart persona.

I’ve been replaying fallout new Vegas. Even found a great mod on PC that’s a “what if the courier made all the wrong choices in new Vegas?” And takes place 20 years after the main story. It’s called Fallout:Dust. I know you said Xbox, but look up the mod if you ever get it on PC

They should have added a unique weapon for completion and success of the game. I know people would have bitched (cause you have to beat the game every new play through thus getting old) but it would have been a cool idea to me.

@@michaelelmore1678 I feel it works if it's about something that makes sense, not so much when it's something either that was added thanks to his mods or just a random pointless object like a tin can and he makes a long winded theory as to why it ended up there and so on and so forth, it becomes gritting after a while.
