Feral Ghouls | Fallout Lore
In a previous video I talked about how some people turn into ghouls, what their new lives were like in the post-war world and their potential for immortality thanks to radiation. However, this isn't entirely true. While they do have a unique mutation allowing their bodies to be healed by radiation, their brains are destroyed by it and it’s that destruction, along with a few other things, causing them to go feral. Feral ghouls, also known as feral necrotic post-humans or simply ferals, are ghouls that have lost their ability to reason and according to a large percentage of survivors all ghouls will inevitable go feral, and to a certain extent that is true. Numerous attempts have been made to figure out how to prevent feralization or cure it entirely, but all efforts have failed…

The irradiated wasteland has no shortage of mutants and abominations, many of which started life as recognisable pre-war creatures, including Yoa Guai, previously known as The American black bear. Although, thanks to the cruel touch of radiation released during The Great War their DNA was tainted, transforming them into one of the most fearsome creatures to ever roam The Wasteland…Now we know Y...

Thanks to Season 1 of Fallout there’s a new creature Cooper calls a Gulper, for those who haven’t played the games, then you might not know that Gulpers already exist in Fallout, however they are slightly different to this new kind of Gulper. Before the show Gulpers were merely mutated hellbender salamanders, aquatic amphibians transformed by radiation caused by The Great War. SUPPORT: Patreon:...

Wandering The Wasteland is never safe, no matter how experienced or well-armed you are, there’s always a chance your life could end early, be it from wild animals, other people or the environment, but there’s something a little different about this universe, and that’s the added threat of ghosts, eldritch creatures and what could be living mannequins... Mr Yesterday's True Identity... | Fallout Lore

At The Sierra Madre we can learn about a mysterious man known only as Mr Yesterday. Yesterday was the manager in charge of the Sierra Madre Villa construction, on the surface he was a likable man full of charisma, a reliable person who Frederick Sinclair, the founder and owner of The Sierra Madre trusted, but that was a mistake. Because Yesterday was in fact a con artist, he had cheated and tri...

Throughout the Fallout series many humans, ghouls, super mutants and even dogs, have had certain elements of their bodies replaced with cybernetic modifications. I try to keep Swan alive as long as possible. It is particularly difficult on survival mode because vertibird transport uses his home as a landing zone for many destinations. But I hate having to deal with the frequently spawning raider units that you have to deal with ever after his death.
damn she got that bong
I remember playing fallout 4 and I felt the ground shake and heard a boom. At first I thought, “must’ve be a bomb.” But then a deathclaw comes running at me.

The new species of gulpers remind me a lot of snallygasters from 76, so I'd be willing to bed FEV was used in some way to make em
Hang on isn’t this exact same thing in Starfield?

The lore on this DLC is so deep and well written. Love seeing someone traverse it through these kinds of challenges
Considering the decline of the NCR i think the Shi succeeded. Would explain why the NCR is in such a weak State. The Shi are expanding on the North, there is the Legion on the East. The return of the Brotherhood just made things even worse. And the Enclave is slowly also returning. The NCR is surrounded by too many enemies
Communism really is a plague ..woke retardation is proof
Idk if it's random but I found a rocket of the Bright brotherhood with some of its members alive near Bloodborne Cave
12:00 what about axolotls?
The way Lurks are used as a cultural term is really cool. Reminds me of how Europeans used to call everything a different type of Deer because that was how animals were addressed and it was called Deerlore. Maybe there's a Lurklore in Fallout society too.

The lizards Clark saw were clearly meant to be proto giant geckos which weren’t giant yet. The stinging flies were either meant to be proto bloat flies or proto cazadors. I’m not sure when they were invented over at Big MT and when exactly they escaped. The bigger flies that zapped the small ones are glowing bloat flies. Which are a larger species that also shoot plasma. I’ve always wondered just how fast the wasteland mutated. How quickly FEV was released into the air and mixed with the fallout. Man I would LOVE fallout spin off based purely on survival. Starting immediately on October 23, 2077. Of course there’d be some story elements and lore to be had but it’d focus on survival and be more of a sandbox. Like Minecraft if you will. But with Perma death. Time would go a lot faster than fallout normally does, meaning you can survive years, decades and even entirely new generations which would be when you have kids. So you could slowly see the wasteland transform. It’d be like a state of decay style where you start off with a group and eventually turn it into a tribe. There’d be perks and you could get ghoulified so potentially you could go a whole playthrough without your original character dying. You could also mutate into super mutants and potentially other things. You could raid and trade with other tribes and settlements. Start a caravan company, or other jobs like bounty hunting, or mercenary work. That would be pretty cool. That’s one thing that appeals to me about Fallout 76 is that it takes place only 20 years after the Great War. I’ve only played a little when the wastelanders dlc dropped and I have to say it was enjoyable
Now to be updated with the science facility shown in the Fallout series.
