MEANWHILE IN RUSSIA | News Update March 7, 2023
#INSIDE #RUSSIA #ECONOMY
Well said brother, the numbers don’t lie. This war is such a disgrace to the smart Russian people inside and outside. Let there be an end to the stupidity and bloodshed sooner than later. Ukraine will never stop fighting for their lands and freedom because their existence depends on it. We would do the same thing!
To stop this needless Russian war against Ukraine payment for Russian oil and gas needs to be done into an escrow account with the attachment payments is due when every Russian soldier has departed Ukrainen soil 🐿️
If Russia 🇷🇺 withdraws its troops, the war ends tomorrow, if Ukraine 🇺🇦 withdraws its troops there will be no more Ukraine so they are fighting for their survival
Central Bank doing a public service in hiding data /s... To stop depression hitting stratospheric levels particularly as anti depression meds are probably not available from sanctions
If Russia stopped fighting, there would be peace.
If Ukraine would stop fighting, they'd become victims of genocide
@@jeffjefferson-re4pe spotted the 3 month old Russian neo nazi propaganda troll account
BTW, really like the inclusion of this format alongside your longer talks, both work well in different ways.
true.
❤ plan on doing both
Saw this comment and wanted to say a ty for doing both to the creator. I struggle with attention span on longer formats (words start to become a white noise) and appreciate still being able to enjoy the content (first vid from Inside russia I've seen but plan on checking out others after watching this!)
Good to know there's more like this timelength to look forward to in the future ^^
@@INSIDERUSSIA Do you not think the West has become evil??
Bro are you in russia now? Pls. Be careful you might be thrown in open window at 11floor. 🤫🤫🤫🤫🤫🤫
News/info you’re not going to find anywhere else-at least not in one place. Excellent job Konstantin.
Everything is on Telegram. But it's still nicely packed.
Say hey to the K-man
Yeah, Putin's plan is going well, turn Russia into the new North Korea, it's just what the world needs, China will be pleased.
I am so sorry for what is happening to your country Konstantin, this is so sad to see. I am sad to see what is happening both in Ukraine and in Russia for different reasons and the only solution I can see would be a civil war which at the moment seems unlikely and would be horrendous. I can't imagine how you feel but you are one of the few voices of balance in this madness, thank you for what you do. R from Scotland.
There is great information on Joe Bloggs channel czcams.com/video/HKEPbcFBHZo/video.html
Hi from London 🇬🇧
I hope you are having a great time with all your kids visiting. 😎
I like the new "Meanwhile" video format.
❤❤❤ yes yes yes
I like the fire and sarcastic humor of this style of video. It suits you. I'm so sad for your loss of country and isolation from your home, but you are in the right in your message. Fight the good fight! History will be on your side.
He is not alone , there are lots of us ......
46% drop in oil and gas revenue is shocking but pales into insignificance when you consider this as just the beginning. If we also consider the mass exodus of foreign investment which in turn severely effects revenue the future for Russia looks very bleak indeed. This year could be the last for the Russian Federation economically as there is no way to repair the damage already done but more importantly no way to prevent the continuing losses.
right, and the losses are going to multiply in ways that arent immediately apparent. it is a huge disaster for russia for a very long time.
Pre-war, over 60% of russia's total exports was fossil fuel products to the EU and other G7. They've basically lost that entire market, and probably forever. That was the size of gap they had to fill. They filled it a bit of it, with increased sales to the usual suspects like China; but it's next to impossible to replace the rest. That EU market was gigantic and had all the infrastructure set up for efficient transmission to boot. Imagine throwing all that away? That's a new level of stupid.
I give them 10 months until the crash begins. That's when they run about of reserves.
I wonder what happens to the money each time an oligarch falls out a window, maybe claimed by the state to prop up the economy.
Well said and it only took one man to cause this financial mess. Of course, all Russia's problems are caused by "the West." Putler announced that Russia is in "great financial shape." The truth is, the only person in great financial shape is him because he's been skimming the Kremlin's income for the past 20 years. He doesn't give a damn about his people. He just wants them to go to the Ukrainian meat grinder so he can live out the rest of his miserable existence in luxury.
Thanks Constantine for the analysis and overview of the situation! Hardcore is coming in Russia, the Tsunami is building up, growing, taking shape.... absolutely obvious, terrifying. Only fools dont see it. Greetings, Hugs, Empathy to you from an Economist colleague from Hungary.
I think there are two or many more distinct timelines of different vibrationally driven “realities” to me is obvious what’s true

6000 russian nukes and a long memory about 27 million dead russians during ww 2 says your all wrong
Ох, боже)) ваше "ужасное" цунами уже больше года никак не может оформиться и снести Россию. За то, почему-то каждый месяц цены в Европе и США только растут.

Stay strong, Konstantin. I think you got out at the right time. Much love to you, your family, and the Breakfast Club. May you see better times.
❤
I love this format!!! Amazing! Please keep doing this!
I do like this shorter format instead of those over an hour. I have 15 minutes many more times than I have over an hour to listen to your good message. Keep it up.
I love the meanwhile in Russia format!!!!
Wham Bam kaaaapow its like an old batman show!
Konstantin you are in your element my friend!!!
I LOVED THE FORMAT OF THIS VIDEO!!!! IT WAS BRIEF, TO THE POINT, AND VERY INFORMATIVE!!! I HAVE BEEN SHARING WITH MY FRIENDS TOO!!! Stay Strong Konstantin- Prayers for you and your family too!😇🥰
❤
I feel sorry for the younger Russians who seem more open to the West in general. What kind of future will they have.
Konstantin, my friend, your sarcasm is every bit as sharp as your wisdom and compassion. A potent combination indeed! Bravo and thanks for all you do!
Wow - Daniel that was so well said you can drop the mic 🎤!!!
❤❤❤
Longtime sub, like the new format. Keep your strength. Russia will need good people to rejoin the rest of the world.
Dear Konstantin, thank you for your hard work. Ive been watching you for about 9 months now. Thank you for letting us know that you are safe even if inbetween the lines sometimes. Your stream has become a daily routine of mine but i really like those "meanwhile in russia" videos aswell. Maybe you could get more rest if you would balance your streams with these kind of videos. I definitely wouldnt mind. Streaming daily must be exhausting so mixing streams with videos might help. Stay safe I keep you and your family in my prayers. Only love from Czechia!
I agree, Konstantin looks a bit tired. Maybe he needs to take some break and concentrate on his own wellbeing?❤

@@INSIDERUSSIA It’s easy to see you’re a good and caring person. Thanks for your videos, but definitely keep your health in mind first, and getting good stuff is essential for that. We can’t watch your videos if you’re not healthy. God Bless you!
Watched many of your videos over the last year and you are a true gentleman who I hope many Russian will come to see the truth through.
Peace to all.
❤
You are overestimating russians. 20 million moscow was unable to get enough people to oppose war. 90plus % are retarded, supporting war. I did not see massive crowds opposing war.
I am enjoying these shorter videos. So much information, I like hearing everyday! Congrats on your almost 200 thousand in subs. Good job Konstantin 👏!
Finally, the truth about a system based on lies. Thank you, Constantine
I like that you give actual figures and not just adjectives.
As an American, I appreciate your insights and know you’re a good person that wants the best for his country and home. We’re all politically oppressed in different ways and should always find ways to find commonality. I love the Russian people and even learned the language at an intermediate level. May God bless you and your family through these hard times and I hope we can enjoy our people’s friendships after these tougher times in the world. ☮️✌️
No friendship and no respect towards the Russians. I hope they all rot in hell
I was very worried as I hadn’t t seen a video in two days. I’m so happy seeing that you’re ok.😊

One would think history of these type of failed power ploys would register but here we are repeating history yet again. I hope those who are still in denial finally realize how bad things are.
This format is a great addition, both in length and style.
😎 love the format😊 Well done my friend - thanks for talk.. happy days for you and your family 💗 see you soon ✌️💪🙏
I love your long form content because you explain the reasoning and the story, don't stop doing those. But this is a great addition, a different genre for a different audience good stuff
I agree. Your live streams are great; don't stop them. But this was a nice change of pace - succinct, interesting and informative.
Yes l agree also. I like to get a little “fix” of Konstantin and still will look forward to the long form of his videos.

I love these short videos! Keep em up. You just got a new sub Konstantin
From pushing the limits of wat you legally say to plain sarcasm in just a few months is , I’m sure, is a big leap for you !
I’m impressed .
I await silently for a pure anger talk soon!
You’re doing excellent!
Thanks Konstantin for sharing your insights. I find myself wondering (and worrying) what will emerge from Russia should its economy and government collapse? A thriving, just and free democratic republic of Russia seems unlikely. I hope for the best but expect the worst.
It will be hard for the West to deal with inflation and sanctions but Russia is about to go over the cliff. Maybe the shock will help to turn things around. Turning back to the past can't work if the govt is broke.
30 nuclear armed nations that hate each other.
My bet is a long and bloody civil war inside Russia.
Great question. Some countries, Poland, the Baltic States want the Russian Federation to be dissolved, others US, France, Germany prefer a more democratic Russian Federation that would be able to resist China in the East. Konstantine what are your views on this question?
@@baconsoup8346 WHAT? What kind of democrat are you? Would you have supported the crazy french revolutionaries who sent their armies in Vendée and all over Europe to spread by force and blood their "freedom"?
No, no occupation is needed. All that's required is the feeling that the Putin regime was a big failure and the desire of a new perefstroika. Things went wrong after 1991 because of the mafia and Putin. The West must maintain the sanctions against the oligarchs, seize their assets and use them to rebuild Ukraine and Russia. The rest has to be done by the russian people itself.
I like Mr Kostantin when he speaks about economics!
An upgraded edginess. Love it.
Inside Russia's honest comments are wide and deep. Konstantin's " constant comments " are digging deep into the American and others psychics. Underneath these comments I find the solutions and answers to all my questions about Russia 🇷🇺 today. His voice is my voice. He works for me. I am a responsible person. I have to pay him.
Well done Konstantin. You are natural born for an anchor. 👍🏿
A very good episode. Fun format! Toppie! 👍
Love these short videos and the way you are presenting the information. It's giving people hope!
I love the title "Meanwhile in Russia", very fitting. A good title for your shorter video. Also your hard work is paying off... almost 200k subscribers !
i like this short format. thank you
Great info, and special thanks for the professional production. I know how many hours something like this takes to come out so well.

😂😂😂😂😂😂Too funny, Konstantin! Serious stuff with a humorous twist. You are the best!
I love this format
Congratulations on 200k
I’ve followed your channel all the way back to you living in the US managing in the Hotel business…you’ve come a long way…unfortunately in part because of tragedy …I’m sure you’d be happy to be in a Russia without war ever happening and 10k subs …keep up the good work…happier time are coming.
Konstantin, with regards to Victoria Nuland, I highly recommend watching PBS Frontline’s the Putin Files from 5 years ago, the Victora Nuland interview. Sometimes the media takes things out of context and twists things around. Frontline’s Putin and the Presidents is also very informative. I will probably put it in the Chat when next you do a Livestream because I’m not sure you have time to read these comments.
Numbers don't lie but dictators can lie about the numbers.
Doing business was always difficult in Russia at the best of time. Despite that, our company invested over a million dollars in 2020 to expand our offices in Lipetsk. Money that all went down the drain when Putin started his unprovoked war of agression and we had to close our offices because business became virtually impossible under the sanctions
An article in the "Economist" about the demographic development in Russia also fits in well with this economic data. The population in Russia, for example, is decreasing and life expectancy is falling below the level of developing countries. How Russia will be doing after a few years of sanctions will not be funny.
Your videos keep getting better and better every day! May you and your family and friends be blessed.
Hi Konstantin. I like the new format a lot, short and straight to the point. I am a faithful subscriber since the start, but have to admit that I skipped the live streams as were too long, now I will watch again more often.
Love the info and the snark factor, though I'm sure some literal folks won't get it 🙄. As much as I wish for Russia's ability to wreak bloodshed to end this news must be painful to report about your former homeland 😞
Great video Kostya! I LOVE when you do the economic videos and thank you so much for explaining it in terms that are very easy to understand-even for this Psychology major who never even took an Econ class!
❤
Very well done job, Konstantin: 13 minutes' resumes are much more easy to stay tuned on than one hour's ones. You are a lovely person.
The best part of the oil &gas revenues being down so far is that the sale price means practically zero profit margin. So the remaining revenue is meaningless as it just covers production costs, leaving no income taxes or royalties (if they're a thing in Russia) payable. Kind of makes it pointless to keep oil flowing, and we are seeing shutdowns of production within a few weeks of the price caps. Of course, this is going according to the plan :)
Love the sarcasm Konstantin.Thank you for the real numbers.
Thank you friend. Your work is so very important.
Thank you, Oldman! Much much needed and very appreciated ❤️
I love your humorous sarcasm Konstantin.
Nice short, focused format. Thank you.
Whatever people believe or think they believe or are being told, the universe itself isn't going to be fooled.
Straight up, hard hitting. Love this!
No problem, just print more money, 🎉😊
That is what Canada did and now my grandchildren can not find a way to buy their first house. Trudeau must go!!
You're 100% right, if sanctions are good for Russian economy, Putin would pay Western countries to keep, not to remove them 🤣🤣
Love this type of video. 1 hr or more is hard to fit into schedule, despite wanting to hear what you think.
So, this works great! Thank you
Nicely done, as always! That is quite a bit if vodka...
Wait I thought you were reporting on Russia, sounds exactly like what's happening in the USA.
Awesome message Konstantin. We hope you are having a truly meaningful experience with your family. See you on the next live stream.

nice video. Thanks for digging up the numbers. You put some numbers to what I had expected.
I really enjoy your hot takes. The live videos are heat too, but these short condensed video are where it's at.
Keep up the short clips please. Thank you
I really enjoy these news updates, thank you
Bro, I know looks don't hold much tangible value in life but god damn, you look badass for an economist lol
First video (came up in recomms), saw some of your older content tumbnails and that you've been on the platform for a while now. Will check it out, really digging various views about all kinds of life stuff (not just war and conflicts) being shared by my also equally various brothers and sisters from nations across the globe.
Really appreciate the insight and trying to bring your views, in this video specifically, about the state of affairs in Russia (haven't heard any real discussion about mortgages and banks in Russia, this was a neat viewpoint!)
Audio quality is pretty tight, edits are clean, good content, my dude
Much appreciated!
This number, 30 500 defaults, also probably contains all those with a mortgage who are 'missing' soldiers in Ukraine. When 'missing' there is no payment, no widow no problem
"Putin's plan" always makes me think of the line "AND THEY HAVE A PLAN" at the end of every intro of the tv series Battlestar Galactica - refering to the Cylons - only that after five seasons the makers of the show had to admit that they never had a plan for them and that they were just making stuff up as they went along with the show.
Maybe they too just wanted to "denazify" the Twelve Colonies of Kobol.
Unlike Russia, though, they at least had the power of resurrecting their war victims.
I am reminded more if baldricks “I have a cunning plan,my lord”
I recently went to a Geopolitical, Economic, Capital Investment conference. This is what I learned. After World War 2, The USA had the best economy, mainly because the mainland remained untouched & it was able to keep producing, inventing, & manufacturing more goods. Therefore, US government invested in other nations' economies. The Marshall Plan/US Investment poured billions into rebuilding western Europe after the war. We also coerced many nations to ally with us by giving money & using The US Navy to allow those countries to trade with other countries. It was a period in time when NATO & other alliances came about. The US coerced these nations to ally with us against the 2nd most powerful nation, The Soviet Union. In the past, nations invaded or went to war with others for religious &, ideological reasons, but mostly because of needing other national resources that all countries need. The US also agreed to be the police of all the world's oceans, escorting & and allowing all of US allied countries the ability to trade with others for resources. The US still patrols & controls over half of all tonnage of all world trade. When The Soviet Union collapsed, The US cut down on ensuring global trade. They often use insurance policies to ensure sanctions or limitations on global trade. Without US insurance & soft power of global trade, the world's oceans would resemble Somalia type pirate tactics, with nations interfering & stealing other's resources. US & Europe were the first nations to industrialize. The USA was so far removed from other industry-leading nations because of its geography. The US slowly industrialized over 8 or 9 generations. In 18th century, most families in America lived on rural farms. Therefore they had room to work their land, & had many children, in those days, children were free labor to work beside parents on their farms. Slowly, with immigration increasing, many Americans began to live in more Urban areas for manufacturing type jobs. When people are forced to live in a smaller area, they have less children. This & with the help of electricity gave women more time to focus on other things, other than a wife & mother. Now education & careers took some attention away from being only wives & mothers. This is the point in history where women finally networked together for more rights & freedoms. Particularly they won the right to vote. Therefore, these women had less children. Because USA is a country with high immigration rates, the US never had to worry about falling birthrates. Everyone looks at China as the next superpower, but unfortunately, they are wrong. China's geography makes it dependent on other countries for oil, gas & arable farmland to support its major population. China went from 3rd world country to urbanization/industrialized nation in only 1 generation. 80% of China's population lives along its east coast. China is a cheap manufacturer of low/medium end chips. That's why they want access to Taiwan's chip production. China's 1 child policy is really leaving a gap in age ratio. A healthy age ratio should resemble a pyramid, the elderly at the top & the youngest(future) at the bottom. The CCP have been resistant to immigration so its demographics are crazy. The population is mostly male & most females do not want to have children. Many are tired of the sweatshops or working conditions, & the control mechanisms of the CCP are really affecting their future. China does not even have electricity infrastructure to reach into the west of China. Russia is also experiencing a demographic issue. Russia has a huge land mass & every resource that it needs. Russia has also not replaced it's birth ratio demographics. Many villages are just abandoned in the country side. Both these countries are offering huge maternity bonuses as incentives for women to have more children. However, it's too late. Putin knows that the generation in their 20's now, is the last generation with anywhere close to that manpower number to sustain an army to protect & plug it's western border. The Kremlin has not been releasing it's newborn children data, & if so, they distort it like China, North Korea, & Iran. Putin knows that no other country ever provoked or threatened The Soviet Union, because of it's bufferzone of it's western neighbors. It is the 21st Century, & no one likes war, especially Europe. I see no reason Europe would just decide to attack Russia. Urbanization also occurred in Russia, when most people moved to large cities like Moscow & St Petersburg. As you know, Constitine, in a viable economy, you need the middle aged adults, who have accumulated the capital/wealth to invest. Your 20, 30, & early 40 year old group are the main consumers of any product or service. Also they are the caregivers & specialists who will generally take care of the elderly. In a Communists or socialist government, you can never have the elderly(post World War 2 baby boomers)making up such a large portion in any demographic. China is in a much more desperate state than Russia because they will never economically survive the next decade with such a huge elderly population. The US has been slowly inching away from investment in these countries. The US is tired of human rights abuses. The US is tired of the massive IP theft from hacking. The US is also tired of being the world's global trade & world police. The US is starting to give up on globalism & is pouring capital into local North American markets & capital. Particularly, Mexico. Mexico is now producing more high/middle end chips. It's producing more than China. Therefore, the world will be in a much more vicarious state. In the east, India will be a growing economy. They have healthy demographics, only lack oil/gas. This is a country that I may consider investment in. I just thought I would share with you & your readers. This is not based on facts, it is based on economics & current trends, so any event could occur & change the outcome.
Cheers!
Prayers for you and your family, Konstantin! Stay safe, get sleep, and eat well...!
