Gladiator is definitely worth buying, it is not a MUST though thanks to game balancing allowing other towers to catch up to glad

Its pretty bad compared to some other towers in my opinion. It has decent stats but just gets outclassed by so many other early defense towers, like gold soldier. Also the range. I get its a melee tower, but still.

Fun fact gladiator can also block stuns like molten stun which makes it a amazing tower

Gladiator ability also can stack with commander ability, making it 90% firerate boost
they should make a tag on the ppl who got it in 2019 bc I always get ppl saying that i bought it and “pay to win” but i got it in 2019 in the heights event. I also have frost blaster and archer. So i would add a tag to it saying like “obtained in 2019” or something.
Got it in the first sale I would highly recommend I just wish they would put something on sale besides gladiator
fun fact the gladiator is OP using warriors call and call of arms from commander AS its firerate increases BY 90% making it from 0.5 to 0.05 and almost 900 DPS i think :D

thats not how the equation works for tds sadly, a 90% firerate increase means it shoots 1.9x faster, meaning glads firerate gets to 0.265 firerate instead iirc

As someone who has won the sword fight on the heights I’m pretty mad about this gladiator was a hard tower to earn for me and some of the other people who earned it as well and now It doesn’t even look like I won the event most times I mentioned I actually won the event I bet you 90% of the time mostly no people believe me I may be level 421 but yet most people who didn’t start back then could be a higher level. And those who bought the gladiator congratulations but yet I feel gladiator should have only gone on sale like, once or twice for such a good tower I still hope bellow knows what the sfoth winners feel about this because the gladiator should’ve stayed a rare tower. But that’s my complaint about this sale. Thank you for reading

As someone else who has won the sword fight on the heights event, gladiator 100% deserves to be brought back. It’s an insanely strong tower that shouldn’t just be limited to a handful of players who beat something 4 years ago.
Plus, its not even THAT good. They really should allow for more old event towers to be buffed and put back on sale. Like what they did with archer. Its just getting repetitive and kills the hype of new upcoming sales with them putting this same mediocre outclassed tower on sale every 2nd sale
Bro do you just not have commando or something? That's basically the easiest way to prove OG. Also, the devs need food to survive, they need to profit from their game and putting glad on sale is a really good way.

Honestly, they shouldn’t put glad for like maybe the 4th time, I don’t remember how much times it has been on sale. Anyways, I feel like they should’ve brought swarmer, executioner, or sledger, since there is more variety. Swarmer could be the best for the sale, because it is the summer, and swarmer kinda represents summer, even though it is from the easter event.
Swarmer is currently very reliant on bugs and without them is very mediocre
Plus glad's event was during the summer, however commandos event was the summer 2019 event as its now become officially called
If commando was put on sale, then it would need to be buffed, just like archer was. Also, if used strategically, swarmer could still be pretty good.
@@Th3Krone yeah no doubt, there are plans for puffing commando, however, its a revert to pre mega commando with I think early hidden detection. The buff I really don't think will change commandos standing as it will just be a worse turret due to its 133 dps and only 19 range
frost blaster sale would be good i think

Comes from a very honest guy. Gladiator is good but kinda bit outdated and isn't needed. Speed run it does wonders but. If you think of other modes it falls bit off due it's way low range and not able to kill enemies in time.
So if you want it buy it, but don't feel it's needed.
It's actually meta în any special gamemode too so it is used there too

I think it’s worth it. Gladiator is extremely versatile for situations like speed running early defence and flexing if you got it from the event

Gladiator: all around crowd control
Warden: mid-late game stalling and damage
To be fair there's no really a good way to compare an early/mid game tower with a late game staller

And gladiator is not as overpowered as people say, it's a really GOOD tower, and probably the most powerful event tower, but it's just busted in solo and a duo and just in fallen, in special maps, events and hardcore glad is most of the time bad and you should bring something better than it
Gladiator vs Warden
Gladiator has a faster attack speed, and can hit multiple enemies at once, and has an ability that speeds it's attacks
Warden does more damage, can stun on every hit at level 3, and every third hit is critical. It has a higher max dps and the critical hits also stun.
Although they're both melee towers, i woudn't compare both since one is used for pierce and the other for stalling.

- explosion dmg: mortar rocketeer etc
- pierce: archer (as i remember)
- splash: gladiator and sledger (there are other towers too)
