    Tip for my fellow Filipinos that are outside the Philippines: I HIGHLY recommend you use Philippine cheddar. I tried substituting using regular cheddar found in the states and it just did not taste right. Did it again using cheddar I got from my local Filipino store and it tasted wayyy better

    I made this the other day, pinatikim ko sa Japanese husband ko and mga Japanese friends namin. And sabi nila mas masarap pa daw kesa goldilocks ensaymada. Next week gagawa ulit ako kasi nag order sila sa kin. Thank you for sharing

    I just finished making, baking your ensaymada, it is really soft and melt in your mouth rolls. Nagkulang lang ako sa toppings ko pero okay. Ito yung recipe na hinahanap ko. Love it. Thank you for sharing this recipe. My sister and mom ❤️ it.😊

    I tried this recipe and i love it!! I already tried different recipes for ensaymada but all of them ended like rock..i also used the dough for baked donuts.. I just added cinnamon para mag ala krispy kreme.. Thanks for sharing..love u

    I find it hard to incorporate the butter while kneading it. Can I join the very softened butter together w/ liquid ingredients such as 1egg & 1/2 cup evap.(warmed to help melt thebutter), then mix it with the flour ?

      yes you can put the butter and mix together with the dough mixture. ganun gnagawa ko then nagtitira ako ng mga 25 grams na incorporate ko once slightly kneaded

    I made this today and my son ate 3 pcs in one sitting ❤ It's good and easy to follow.The only thing I think I should do next time is to gradually add the roux instead of putting it all in one go because it was hard to knead 🤣 but 10/10 when it comes to outcome 🥰Thank you for sharing us your recipe.

    What kind of butter are you using po? Parang ang mura kasi sa 11pesos for 1/4 cup. Ang mahal kasi ng mga totoong butter (not margarine) so I was curious. If margarine can deliver the same result then I would definitely use it because it’s a lot cheaper.

      Hello! Butter compound lang ang usually gamit kaya medyo cheaper (golden crown), but you can definitely use real butter as preferred :)

    Hi. Just a question with the dough. In your written recipe, you said add 1/4 cup softened butter. But in your video, you didn’t show that you’ve added softened butter, instead, you added the water roux but you didn’t write that in your recipe. Should I still put softened butter in the dough?       Oh. Other recipes use way more egg yolks like way more butter like 1 cup, way more cheese.

    I tried doing it but the dough was so sticky I even added an extra 1/4 cup flour plus when kneading it.. Used freshmilk instead of evap... and shortening instead of butter for an even fluffier texture.. also not sure how long I’m supposed to knead? I used all purpose flour as well maybe the flour is also different which affected the results?

      Ang alam ko mas nagaabsorb ng water ang bread flour kesa all purpose, kaya siguro sticky kinalabasan. May nahanap akong dough na recipe na sobrang fluffy, yun nalang siguro gagamitin ko pag gumawa ako nito.

      Kailangan mong gumamit Ng oven thermometer para ma-accurate ung heat Ng oven mo... Kung mahilig kng mag bake try mo mag invest Mura lng un malaking tulong Yun to monitor your oven temp.
