Like to watch your videos, we can see farming, hunting, wild lands scenes, ..; you may enjoy fresh air, water, sunshine, ..freely; such things won’t happen in our area, maybe forever.
Nobody like commodities & houses with high prices, vegetables & meat with “sky prices”; not allowed to go hunting to get meat; moreover have to face noise, pollution; fighters flying over; tanks, missile & canons in streets; teenagers students have to get military training & do auto rifle shooting, forced to be soldiers.

@@JordansHarvest Yeah its cool. Where I used to live we had about 10 rosters and I'd say close to 60 hens within half a square kilometer.

Catch that Pheasant or two stuff them in your pocket do a catch clean cook on them end of problem . I like to watch just about anything hunting and the Pigeon Loft . Enjoyed it Jordan

Are the pheasants raised to be hunted? We have similar farms in California and they either run a pheasant club where they release birds or plant birds for people to hunt and they pay by the bird or they raise them to sell to pheasant clubs that do said activity

Basically it the opposite of putting them out! You herd them back to the barn and catch them in the dark room

What sort of predator proofing is used for keeping raccoons out? I keep peacocks and I’ve had some fully grown adult males killed by raccoons. I use netting just like your pheasant aviaries over the top of my aviaries since it is safer for the birds when they spook, but unfortunately it is easy for a raccoon to chew through. I tried hot wire around the top edge of the fence but it kept going out. I don’t really want another dog but do I just need an outdoor dog to chase off predators? For me I keep so few birds just one getting killed by a raccoon is a huge loss since each one is a special pet. It’s almost made me get out of keeping birds.

Jordan, does Kansas require a license for having and raising pheasants? I live in Missouri and our DoC requires a breeder to have a license for certain species of game birds.
Last I checked, in Kansas, you need a license to sell game birds.
Can they survive in the wild
They have a very low survival rate in the wild when they are released
