5:00 that block by PJ is insane. He’s actually one of the only people who will contest MPJ high release point jump shot on the Nuggets. Same with DJJ the slam dunk contest champ. Their defense is the best it’s ever looked as a franchise in my opinion when healthy.
If they are THIS good post trade-deadline. With Kyrie only being there for a year. Imagine next year when PJ get's more comfortable and Lively isn't a rookie anymore. Next dynasty coming? Kyrie has got at least 3 more good years in him.

I love the Mavs but it would be a very difficult run this year. They would have to beat a Clippers team they have never beaten, then the #1 seed Thunder, then the defending Champion Nuggets, and finally, a 64 win Celtics team, all series on the road. If they did do it, its one of the most difficult runs in NBA history.

@@yopo654 That's rich. I know Jimmy Buckets has a playoff aura but that team is not even close to playing at the level required to beat the Celtics this year and I HATE the Celtics. Don't be shocked if they struggle to even get out of the Play-in.
Since when was a championship easy? Tell me a champion (except for the bubble Lakers) that took it like taking a candy to a child? Their only hurdle is the LAC, if they get past them, OKC is an easier match up for the Dallas.

Luka is amazing, but we are in the Nikola Jokic era right now.
Whats the problem? Those teams never beat THIS Mavs team in playoffs.
I just don't see them getting through Denver, and you have to beat Denver to be championship caliber. They have the better duo, better coaching, better role players, better defense, better size, and better depth

Mavs are overrated. They haven’t beat anyone post all star. They got lucky with nuggets on last minute shot after being dominated the whole game. They don’t stand a chance against the nuggets. SOS has been soft. Not to mention defense is hideous bottom of the barrel. To make it even worse they struggled with a mediocre warriors team at best.
Russ will be the xfactor!! He needs to start in the absence of Kawhi. They can beat the Mavs w/o Kawhi “Sugar Ray” Leonard
