How is the quality, comfort and brand reputation of Ample seatings? It doesn't look like a big brand and I am not able to find any old reviewers using the chair for years? 16K is higher than products like Liberate and Enzo from Featherlite.
I have not used Featherlite chairs till now so can't compare but yes the quality of these chairs is good.
we should compare apple to apple for a good comparison, So liberate and Enzo only have one-way adjustable arm-rest whereas it has 3 way adjustable.
those chairs do not have a seat slide feature which comes only in expensive chairs whereas it has.
Liberate has a 150 kg weight limit and 1-year warranty, this has a 200 kg limit and 2-year warranty.
The last time when I checked all similar features in Featherlite it was around 28k price chair.

No bro, as i said in that video too , i prefer little straight back , Marvel is bit more curved for my liking, Not everyone is liking marvel , i found few users who are facing back pain problem with it whereas few are liking it . So i will suggest you either personally visit and check any curved chair or go for some straight back chair option.

I have one from featherlite, optima oc1 from 2019. But I think the max height is short, specially for a 6ft person. You also mentioned its 21.5 inches max, I guess its same.. do u think we can increase the height with a different gas lift?
i think you can user castors buffers to increase height if it supports your chair base.
How would you compare it with featherlite liberate?
liberate lacks feature when compared to it, no seat sliding , only up and down hand rest and nylon base not metallic.

yes bro this one i am still using, sometimes the mechanism stuck for a second or two , but i think i should do the proper lubrication servicing once. will do it soon. Though other than that this one is going strong.

actually it has multiple locking not any position. there are 3 position locking in total to be precise.
whereas any position locking chair can be stopped anywhere you want within the provided range of motion
this chair has seat sliding feature.(which is helpful when people with long legs and short legs share the chair or you are a tall guy yourself.)

zoner - has 2d armrest , seat slide , 3-4 recline angle adjustment, upto 150kg weight holding capacity , more beautiful looking chair, Curved back
Optima indian - 3d armrest , seat slide , 3-4 recline angle , 200 kg weight holding capacity , Straight back
Personally - if zoner had straight back and 3d armrest i would have gone for it.
but to me straight back feels more comfy and 3d armrest comes handy in my case. (zoner is attractive , i just wish it had same features)
this one is made in india product by ample seating (cost about 15 k) and the other one is imported from taiwan that is bit expensive. (about 18-19 k)
as per i have checked with sources.
optima was originally made by Taiwanese company.
which is rebranded by all resellers in india.
so fetherlite might have started making their own optima now (not very sure but yes) just like many other companies are making, though ample seating clearly told me that they also have the original Taiwan imported model, which info i also passed on in my video.
ample seating says the taiwan model and fetherlite are same , i cant comment until i see both ( i have not seen any yet )

whats the height of the backrest
I contacted the company and they are saying 28 inches +3 inches headrest where as in your video, you said that the backrest height is 23 inches
so m really confused, my height is 6 feet and m looking for a backrest height of minimum 25 inches to support my shoulders

1. Over time its nut bolts got loosened, i tighten them , its fine now
2. Yes for starting 3-4 months i solely used this chair
3. No hard seat is not that hard , and not giving any problem
4. Upright position turned better than curved seats like marvel.

i measured on my chair, distance between inside of armrest is 19.5 inch

edit - externel edge to edge of armrest is 26 inches.

I had zeroed in on Torso HB and Liberate HB with lesser features from Featherlite, and I saw this chair which Featherlite sells for 30k. I called Shoib and confirmed that the Indian and imported versions will have slight difference in quality. Hopefully not by much.😁👍

I have reached out to the local Featherlite dealer and their website. They say they just have one variant (OC 1 or Highback) which costs 30K and after discounts, it is 27500. I'm skeptical about the Ample chairs legitimacy. How come they are able to sell the same chair for half of the price.
Yes , i am aware of this fact , company told me that their imported model is same as featherlites 30 k model, now difference pretty huge if still any quality difference is there , how much is that ,worth money difference. I really want to see the featherlite ones as well , but so far not able to check them out

I suggest you should specify that it's an a-look-like chair, not the original Optima chair. Many people might be under the impression that they are buying the original chair, and this video might sound misleading to them.

I have 2 doubts regarding the chair - request for clarification on this
1) You mentioned in the review that this chair (Optima highback) the back is straight and not as curved as other chairs; is it comfortable? I would assume that having curved back will be more comfortable as it would adjust with the contours / curvature of one's back
can you pls comment on this
2) also - how good is the back lumbar support? the lumbar tightening mechanism is good enough to provide comfort?
3) The seat height dimensions mentioned on website are different from the ones you mentioned here. I read a comment from another subscriber as well. were you able to get any clarification from the company on this?

1. infact over time i found that sometime when u just want to sit upright and quite attentive this one provides more comfort and dont worry this i would say more comfortable comparing it with the other one.
2. lumbar are supportive,and yes can be tightened and can be moved up and down to 3-4 inches but to my liking ,i dont use them much.
3. my measurements are correct, checked with company. They should have updated it by now.
p.s- this could be my personal liking but seriously i m quite comfortable in sitting without using much lumbar support infact.
but having it is just a add on.

Considering just comfort , i will say no.
if you need extra feature like seat slide , and components used are heavy quality than marvel.
like the base, the headrest then go for optima .
otherwise i will say Marvel is just fine.

I have ordered the optima hb chair 7 days ego, still not delivered, taking too much time for delivery. Its authentic right?
Yes , dont worry it will be delivered, generally it took 10 -12 days for all customers who are not mumbai based. for me it took 12-13 days i remember.
Don't buy from these guys, i got different quality of hydraulic, screws and wheel. my hand rest has issues not all 3 screws are fitting properly and I didn't get any help from them after several follow up. Also my head rest was not properly holding its position, I was thinking that will be fixed if i tighten properly, yesterday when i was trying to check why its not tightning properly, i open the headrest nob and I came to know that my head rest tightening nob has half thread broken, i sent the video to Ample chair, i was supposed to get 2 years warranty but no help so far. i had invested such a huge amount and not getting proper quality. Also the parcel i received was damaged packaging, one wheel and leg was coming outside from cartoon.
