I love Compass. It feels premium, beautiful and sturdy. I just end up admiring it whenever I see it on road. Specially the ash grey one. As far as car videos are concerned, so many of them are doing it. And Frankly, everybody is doing the same exact thing. I get fed up when I want to watch a car and end up watching the same information on several videos. Point is, you'll have to do something different with car videos .
This is how I dreamt and hoped reviews should be ....pure and imperfectly perfect. Pointed out pros and cons ....and totally honest review. My family has both Tata harrier and jeep compass. Love it ❤️😅🤩

Jeep compass owner here, i have 2019 Longitude model 4×2, and yes it is really good the the real car driving lovers. The confidance you get when driving is just incredible and the engine sound once you speed it up above 100 is just amazing you can actually feel the car.

I have 4*4 anniversary edition and the rattling noise issue is true. It comes from the b and C pillars mostly. It is a common complaint for most users, fb groups of jeep are flooded with this. I personally gave the car to service station 3 times to rectify it, but it’s not completely solved yet

A Quick suggestion I noticed footprints of rats when you showed the engine part and it can damage wires and other things. You can get rid of this by leaving or knotting a few Naphthalene Balls in engine and boot space. baaki Arun Panwar bhai aur jyada achey se bata sakte hai ;-)

i have jeep compass model s diesel MT the engine is purely beast and gearbox is like icing on the cake it engine is better than - volvo xc 40, innova crysta , mercedez class 1 limousine this car can be compared from volvo to fortuner in features , capabilities and even horsepower / torque fiat engine is just so refined u will always feel the power in your hands when u touvh the steering to dive it

Even for daytime that sunroof was giving a great view but the harsh sunlight might distract the driver. In night though, I can imagine the pleasant experience. ❤️

I have also purchased same car and it’s recent one. I am also facing similar issue of rattling noise, though I have got it checked at leaker level and they have done their diagnosis as well but still noise is present.
This noise is irritating, frustrating and does not justify the amount we pay. I am trying to touch base Jeep directly since landmark dealers are not taking this issue or highlighting this issue seriously.
Should we together highlight this issue to jeep management ???

The small light falls on the gear box (in the night only it's automatic) is a standard feature of all Fiat owned car brands. I have Fiat Linea and the same light is there. It switch on in the night only and you wont notice it unless you look at gear shift knob.

Jeep feels too premium in price than the experience for most of the people. But I bet a hardcore driver will be ready to pay that premium. You just need a road trip in it. (Driver’s seat)

The package compass offers is good but not worth 28 lakhs as you mentioned and not at all value for money. Otherwise great video.

There is one more flaw, Jeep doesn't offer a top-end model with a manual transmission. They should offer it as indians who love to drive always opt for a manual transmission and that will be more cost effective as well
Ur line 2 and 3 are contradictory and so are the customers. Either bigger size or better dynamics. It's compact for sure and does not give a macho stance. Looks like kia seltos category car. Not premium for sure from outside that could be another reason.

I had the same problem of this occasional rattling sound from day 1 with my Model S Petrol AT and couldn't figure out kaha se aa rhi hai awaaz.. very annoying though! I googled and researched a lot and found different answers everywhere stating that the bottomline is - it cannot be fixed. Anyways, I went to the service centre and told the problem and fortunately they quickly acknowledged and fixed it in just half n hour. When I asked bout what was the issue, they said it had something to do with the AC outlet not being properly bundled. I don't know if that's the real issue but it has been 3 months and 3500kms since then and I haven't notice the issue so far.
I feel the rattling sound comes sometimes because of the great insulation provided inside the car.

Hw is the power specially on hills or overtake??
@@oja3109 It is decent I would say. There is a noticeable lag below 2000rpm if you suddenly floor the pedal, so overtaking needs some pre-calculations. I have driven a lot in the ghat sections (hills) and power is not an issue even with 4 people onboard and AC switched on. I had test driven the Creta and the Seltos but couldn't feel that noticeable lag maybe because of the different driving modes they offer such as SPORT etc.

I love my compass limited plus. Overhyped, 0verpriced, Lack of after sales service. But feels good when I sit inside. Feels premium. Specially it feels good when I am driving this small 4×4 and a Fortuner passes by. Yes, costs almost same. But compass is real value for money.

@@supercharged3544 I never bothered about milage since this is a premium car. But if you really wanna know about some figure then it's a nightmare I would say. In city it's around 7-8. In highway it's around 11-12. But again, milage is not an issue since I have small cars at home including a Chevy Beat.

But i am skeptical coz heared from a few about rattling noise, that bothers me alot, when i drive alone, i dont play music i just listen to the harmony of engine so i dont want any disturbance made by car other than the engine.

@@supercharged3544 All the best. I don't wanna discourage you. But still, make sure you have a good service center nearby. After sales service matters a lot and in case of Jeep, specially in my area, is pathetic.
Pros: The steering in compass will give you huge confidence, specially when you are driving fast. It will not move an inch from the road.
2000cc Fiat sourced Engine will give you enough power to beat the nearby heavy vehicles easily.
Cons: After sales service. Most of the time parts unavailability. Costly maintainence. And I feel the price segment is not worthy comparing other vehicles, available in the same price segment. Lastly, I consider it as a 4 seater car. Because 3 people won't be able to seat comfortably in the rear seat.
And thank you. Chevy Beat was the first car in my life. It's been 9 years now. Still I couldn't get rid of it. 😁

I think MG hector would have been a better choice, because of its size, road presence and features. And less price.
Maybe jeep's driving experience is slightly better but I think it is not worth the compromise of size.

Have been using this vehicle since 3 years. I have often experienced the rattling sound you are talking about and that’s pretty distracting too. But the solution is very simple but not practical. Try emptying your glow box and all door storage compartments. It will surely make difference.
