i dont understand why people call the pixel 6 not a flagship, I bet if it was double the price with the same features they would've written that it's a flagship everywhere

Cuz it's a really good phone for its price, it's just lacking in certain areas like higher refresh rate, a telephoto lens or lower battery life compared to the pixel 6 pro
There are many phones just like the pixel 6 from other competitors like the iphone 13 or s21, but due to their higher price, they're considered a flagship
It would be interesting to compare the pixel 6A when it comes out versus done nothing phone
Why? It's basically the same as the regular P6 but with a smaller display and just 60hz.

@@mmorales508 because it's actually cheaper than the 6a, so of course the 6 is going to have better performance. Aside from the phone size, they are very different phones.

I have the Pixel 6 and if I had the option, I think I'd still pick the Pixel. Day 1 Android updates, fantastic cameras (the NP1 camera samples I've seen don't wow me), spam call blocking, it's a whole load of stuff I don't think I could go without.
And I'm hearing display issues on the Nothing Phone (1) with green tint issues.
I'm considering buying pixel 6 now cause it's at a discount but a bit worried about the bugs and slower fingerprint scanner.. how bad are these issues for you?

I have pre ordered a Nothing (1) 12/256, however I am thinking of cancelling and waiting for the Pixel 7....not sure what to do at present.

For me the Nothing Phone feels quite a bit chunky in my hands as well as the Pixel 6, so I will probably go with the smaller 6a

Nothing Phone doesn't excite me, I was waiting for a banger to switch from Oneplus but they gave mid tier specs and design that looks copied. Front and side looks like an iphone without the notch and the back is cool, I have already see transparent back on HTC and that glyph seems like gimmick to me, if that glyph was RGB and if they would have added secondary screen or something like ROG phones then it would have been appealing. They talked about innovation and all they gave is transparent back with RGB which is already implemented. I wouldn't buy it so I switched to S22+. Hopefully next iteration flagship and appealing.
Nothing phone 1 for me. Ive had mine since launch and apart from the expected teathing bugs at the start its been amazing for everyday use i use the duel sim and run a personal and business from it and has more than kept up.
The glyphs are reali cool but the novelty does where off after a while but still comes in handy.
There is more the the nothing phone than just specs and numbers trust me.

It's great with the 13 4.1 beta runs even smoother then it was before great choice

Nothing phone arrived Friday and have the Pixel 6 for my wife's upgrade arriving tomorrow so a very useful video! Weirdly the nothing feels more like a Nexus than a Pixel does but really love both 🙂
They both feel like a Nexus because nothing literally just ripped off pixel. Come on man!
@@TaureanSmoke no they don’t. The pixel software has become its own thing with lots of exclusive features but it doesn’t feel stock like a Nexus or GPE phone used to. OnePlus before last few years and of course the Google one have felt more true to the Nexus stock android. FYI I’ve owned every Pixel and Nexus since the 4 bar the 2 and 5.

The design and looks of Nothing phone (1) is more premium than Pixel 6 in my opinion.
I choose pixel 6 over the nothing phone for a simple reason, water resistance, nothing phone only has an IP53 rating and there are reports of water vapour going in the back glass and the camera

I’m 100% in the Apple ecosystem and actually preordered the Nothing phone 1 on Amazon £399 base model in black it should arrive Thursday , I just love the iPhone inspired design with a twist, I’ll use it as my 2nd line to my 13 pro max. Im still questioning if I should pick up the Nothing ear 1’s also…
Nothing ears are good for their price. I do have the black one. Software update made things better after few issues with voice distortion.
If the Pixel 6 was still at it's launch price of £599 then i'd say you made the right decision. But as of right now a Pixel 6 can be bought for just £449 from Amazon that's a might price drop for a phone that's better in pretty much every aspect. Unless you really need flashing LEDs. The Pixel 6 at just £449 is an incredible bargain TBH.
I'm sorry You just screwed yourself. Why would you get a pixel carbon copy with a worst camera and Worse software updates and worse software. It's literally a black and white pixel with no software editions and the fingerprint scanner is the same speed as the Pixel 6 It just shows that Apple users really don't care about the things they say they care about. They just care about rumors and popularity even though this phone isn't going to be popular and flop 😂😂😂😂😂!
I had the Pixel 6 and it the worst phone in my life in terms of software bugs and network connection, but in terms of camera 📸 it's the best I ever had too. Charging speed is crap in pixels 6 die to software limitations by Google. Google is evil and android has so many backdoor haha 😛

The real question, are companies actually going to make cases which support this new phone. I just can't imagine intentionally putting the phone face down without a case at the risk of scratching the display.
They should have implemented these light strips around the sides of the phone not the bottom... So it it doesn't matter how you put down your phone.. You're still getting mortified

My OP8T has been laden with bugs. Even more since the major OS update a couple of months ago.

You mean pixel 5, the nothing phone shares too much on hardware from pixel 5 than the iphone.
Basically is a pixel 5 from inside and screen with back of iphone 11 and sides of iphone 12 with a slim transparent case that have leds.

same problem here. But yesterday I had nothing phone in my hand becouse my friend has one for testing and I really like it. SD 778g+ Is better than i thought. Nothing phone has really good tempreature design power it doesnt heat much. Idk about pixel 6a how it handles heat. But it plays big role in battery life and long livelity of device.
Not that it matters, but this is how I've come to clarify the 6 series:
Pixel 6 Pro - flagship
Pixel 6 - upper midrange
Pixel 6a - budget midrange
Pixel all life long

In my humble opinion, the Nothing phone is nothing but a flashy gimmick for some out there who want some nice looking leds on the back of their phone! I would go with the Pixel 6 no matter what because of - extra features, software experience and updates given every month and camera!

The *only* 2 things the Pixel has over the Phone (1) are its camera and exclusive features. These are the only reasons why I'm more tempted to buy a Pixel over a Phone (2)? next year. Unless some big changes/upgrades come to next years' Nothing phone and sway me towards it instead.

Basically you're saying nothing is a pixel just with a bad camera and terrible software updates. So why would you ever buy a nothing because literally nothing is literally just a pixel. They added nothing to the phone other than black and white monochrome. So tragic
🔴 OnePlus in 2014: flagship specs for mid-range price.
🔴 Nothing in 2022: mid-range specs for pre-flagship or low-tier flagship price.
A Flagship costs minimum double the price and more. The OnePlus 1 was a Flagshipkiller in just one aspect: SoC. Thats it. Nearly all other areas it was miles behind like cameras. I'll type this text from an Oneplus 7T Pro, even here the cameras are just mid tier. The Nothing Phone is nearly capable like the S22 Plus. Just the pricedrop of Pixel 6 makes it hard for it. Thats all. I would go with this pricetag and SoC instead of the overheating 8 Gen 1 or worse: exynos.
@@denizd.9080 Agree on OnePlus 1, it's was a mediocre in all aspects except for SoC, and also a clean and neat UI. SoC prices were not that high as we see today for flagship snapdragons.
I am curious why Nothing did not put Dimensity 9000 instead? Or at least Dimenaity 8100? It's way better than 778G+. It's they cost significantly less than flagship snapdragons.

Both are good phones, each on their own departments. Nothing has a better design, while pixel 6 has a better camera performance. In the same time both have many issues on their own too. Nothing phone with low performance and camera quality. For pixel 6 has 90 hertz, many software bugs, slow charging speed and bad network connection...I had pixel 6 for a couple of months and I know what I'm talking about. Better to wait for nothing phone 2 or pixel 7.
Instead of taking pixel 6a someone can take nothing phone there will be no difference
Nothing is a better choice considering nothing will have high community support (thanks to them releasing device source) so you can pretty much have all pixel features and more and of course there's that nice back LEDs and extras
Also it's pretty much given there'll be gcams for it too

And speed tests have already been run between nothing phone and the Pixel 6. And the nothing phone is very much outclassed so trying to put these phones in the same space makes no sense. Second off when the Pixel 6a drops it's also going to be faster than nothing phone by a country mile. So why are we trying to say that nothing even has a chance? Nothing Phone is a lower mid-range that looks like a flagship and the pixel 6A will be a upper mid-range. The Pixel 6 will be a flagship and the Pixel 6 pro is also a flagship! Or a halo flagship if you want to get fancy!
