- Love Fist is a Scottish heavy metal band featured in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and referred to as an Easter Egg in many of the following games since. The name "Love Fist" is a reference to fingering, a form of masturbation. The band is composed of Jezz Torrent ("Jizz" if said with a Scottish accent, a slang term for semen) and Willy, Dick, and Percy (all slang terms for the penis). Willy is the only band member that does not accompany the band when they go out into the city since Tommy chauffeurs them. Tommy Vercetti performs various tasks for the band in Vice City, such as saving them from a murderous fan out to kill them and attaining their "love juice" (which is a slang term for semen), which they claim to need before they go on stage. He also brings them Mercedes Cortez to "keep them company".
Love Fist is managed by Kent Paul in 1986 and at the time are on their "Steel Heart Stone Cold Prostate" tour, which, during its stop in Vice City, had security provided by Mitch Baker's biker gang. By 1992 they are only a three-man band, as seen on a Vinyl Countdown billboard (either Willy or Percy leaves the group). The band broke up at least once in between 1992 and 1998, since there is a billboard visible in "Liberty City Stories" which advertises the band's comeback tour. In "Grand Theft Auto IV" the SuperStar franchise in The Triangle, Algonquin includes an illuminated display which flashes "SuperStar.. Starring.. The Mighty.. Love Fist".
During in game dialogue several secrets are revealed about the band members, lead singer Jezz Torrent apparently used to have sex with sheep, drummer Dick is a huge fan of Duran Duran, guitarist Percy sleeps with bunny pajamas and bassist Willy likes to wear woman's underwear. Jezz Torrent sings about cross-dressing on "Dangerous Bastard" and Tommy accuses the entire band of bisexuality, to which they do not offer a reply. - Hry
Dick is clearly based on Axl Rose, specially during the Show in Argentina 92, (he wore the Argentina football Shirt). Jezz looks inspired in Tommy Lee

About the Argentina shirt: Argentina won the football World Cup in 1986 (the year this game takes place), and this was the tournament that featured Diego Maradona's infamous "hand of God" where he scored a winning goal against England with an illegal hand ball. So it makes sense that a Scotsman would celebrate that victory by wearing an Argentina shirt, given that we Scots will support any team playing against England.
Not saying the Axl Rose thing is wrong, just that there's another possible aspect to it.
The Argentina shirt is a Dundee FC connection, this was our shirt in 2001 inspired by our many Argentine signings at the time. The game was created in the city of Dundee hence the shirt

I think GTA 5 is great. Vice City was definitely amazing (and needs a sequel), but that doesn't make GTA V worse.

Rockstar really did a good job with Vice City. GTA was still good thereafter, but it was Vice City that was it's peak. IMHO
it was the beggining of cultural marxism infecting games i guess. they censored the haitian missions it got a loot worse since then. now movies are dead and games lost the soul and art. they doing for money, dlc remasters n remakes no creativity or passion and sadly political agenda ruining it

If I'm correct all they did was change the mission objective from "Kill All Haitians" because that came across with the wrong tone. GTA remained committed to making fun of everyone... now look at the GTA 6 press release and how they now won't "won't punch down," and realize that's the real cliff they've gone off.

@@Queen_Miku That's an EXTREMELY loose rule that they break from time to time. Love Fist is absolutely referenced numerous times in GTA IV and V.
GTA IV and V even have several lines referencing Tommy and CJ and affiliates too. It's more a guideline than a rule, largely so RockStar doesn't have to stick to ancient canon about location names, layouts, etc.
