    Just got mine and I must say I’m very pleased. Bezel takes effort to move it, and has no play. Just the way I like it. Had a Casio that failed, so utilized the black rubber band and gives it such a vintage look! And comfortable. Thank you for this content. 10 days from Ali Express.

    Hi guys, thanks for watching. I'd be very interested to hear your thoughts on this one in the comments .... despite the issues on this one, I can't help but like it! Cheers! (CORRECTION: Apologies! In the video I said that the bezel is 120 clicks but it's 90 clicks).

      Nice review, very on point with some of the issues with the watch. It seems Cadisen is regrouping itself and have started to offer some nicer pieces. I have their new 38mm sub and just like you 62MAS homage, it does have some issues. The alignment of the bezel insert is a bit off, and on mine, the bracelet is supposed to be a vintage style rivet, but the clasp is not suited for the bracelet. I was able to get a decent fit, but if I had to use the micro adjust in the clasp, I can't due to the rivets which are been blocked by the clasp. Anyway, you homage is close to the original at 38mm case size, I do agree with you, they should have brushed the case instead. However, the thin case is reminiscent of the "skin divers" from the late 60's, they were used for light suba diving not deep sea diving. Well, keep up the great work!

    I think cadisan is a very underrated brand. They make simple watches that work and tend to be low on the bling scale. I have several of their watches and they are just very solid and simple. A lot of alliexpress brands are just too blingy for me. They are my preferred brand…particularly in this price range.

    I like the dial colour. I get it, they went with the flat crystal and added a raised chapter ring or rehaut which 62MAS homages normally don't have. I like the aluminium bezel. Oh and the logo, Pagani Design seem to have understood that less is more, they only use their applied logo without additional Pagani Design text which looks so good!

    I've had my eye on this Cadisen (on the bracelet) since it was released. I thought about buying the San Martin, but just couldn't justify paying 5x the price of this Cadisen. The Specs are absolutely unbelievable: Stainless steel case & bracelet, Seiko NH35 movement, sapphire crystal, signed screwdown crown, solid links and endlinks, screw-down pins and a milled clasp for well under $100! Having worn this watch for a week, I can say it’s the best value Aliexpress watch I’ve purchased so far. The fit and finish and quality of materials is just ridiculous for the price. Bezel alignment is perfect and the applied indices are razor crisp. The framed date window is without flaw and the date alignment is bang on. Movement accuracy is good as well. It loses four seconds a day. My only criticism is that the lume on the hands is very weak.
    Overall I’m chuffed. If you’re thinking about buying this watch just do it. This Cadisen would be my first choice if I wanted to gift someone a terrific watch without completely emptying my wallet.

    I ordered the gray dial version of this watch during the recent 11/11 sale. One of the advantages Cadisen has over the other brands is...the name of the brand. "Cadisen" just looks and sounds so much better than Addiesdive, Mysterious Code, Tactical Frog, Berny, etc. Also, the Cadisen logo looks sharp. As much as I like the watches manufactured by those other brands, I'm reluctant to have a watch with such clunky branding strapped to my wrist.

    Your concern about the hands not being very legible is very valid. My cadisen arrived just yesterday, but unfortunately fitted with the wrong set of hands, probably from the blue or black dial version wherein the hands are polished. The polished hands with large part of lume on the cream dial really destroy the legibility on poor lighting. Let's see how the refund policy works. Otherwise, the watch is perfectly sized for my small 16 cm wrist and the rubber strap is very comfortable. Even the bezel alignment is good on my watch. Is there any good 18mm aliexpress steel bracelet you could recommend for this watch instead of the cadisen's own bracelet? Was thinking of jubilee or beads of rice style or even san martin SN045G style bracelet might go well with the retro design.

    The top section of the dial is all over the place. First, as noted, the bezel is misaligned with the chapter ring but the large 12 rectangle marker is offset to the right and even further to the right is the cadisen logo which not only is misaligned vertically but it's also tilted by almost 5 degrees clockwise to the cadisen type. Looks like it was put together by a 5 year old tbh.

    • @TimeForAnotherWatch
      @TimeForAnotherWatch  Před rokem +2

      I've looked at a photos of the 12 index with grid lines superimposed over it and it doesn't look misaligned to me. Agreed that the bezel is slightly off, as discussed in the video. As someone else has previously commented, the logo doesn't appear to be fully aligned with the 12 index. The Cadisen logo is an awkward shape and I think they should stop using it completely. In every day usage, on the wrist, it's difficult to notice these alignment issues and they haven't spoilt my enjoyment of the watch, although I appreciate that for some people, they're still not acceptable, even on a budget watch. Thanks for watching and commenting.
