- Landscape Photography Q&A with Melvin Nicholson and Tony Higginson
In an attempt to offer some light relief during these very difficult times, professional UK landscape photographers Melvin Nicholson and Tony Higginson decided to create a light-hearted, in-depth question and answer video on a range of landscape photography related questions posed by their Facebook group followers.
The topics discussed include their favourite locations, photographers and images right through to a variety of technical and post-processing questions.
We hope that you enjoy watching the video and please feel free to leave a comment below.
Many thanks
Melvin

Great vid lads!
Woohoo first question, looking forward to watching this!
I hope you enjoy it Justin and many thanks for asking the first question.
Hi Guys well done, your delivery and presentation came across in a very relaxed and succinct manner, well done once again. I got up at 4.30 this morning and thought what will i watch then I remembered your email, Ive watched it from start to finish. I would say more for your own sanity, I might be inclined to do them regular fortnightly, with a 45minute time slots, like Tony said it was a longtime, I would have watched it until the cows come home.
1:05:42 - I can back up what Tony is saying here, as someone who has been on his workshop to Northumberland we were all given a little challenge to create a detailed shot and I struggled with it, I do have a lot of respect for detailed photographers now!
It's a really hard thing to do well, but great practice for training our eyes!
A lot of people struggle with detail work Justin. I guess that is why you do not see very many photographers do it. David Ward is a master at it. www.into-the-light.com/
Thank you guys. Even if my printing question sent Tony to sleep 😂😂😂
