I recently bought a 3,000 lumen flashlight with adjustable focus (aka zoom) for like $230, and thought "WOW! This is INSANELY bright! 🤯"
But shortly after I recieved it I discovered all these videos about the Olight Marauder 2.
...And now I'll have to survive on noodles for a while, because there's currently a PORTABLE SUN on it's way to my mailbox 😆

Oh hey Tom! New viewer, but a little feature of the Marauder 2 which not many people know of. When the light is off, rapidly click the button 15 times and you can disable the proximity sensor that dims the light when it's close to something.
Another 15 times and you can re-enable.

Just in case you haven't already looked it up, moonlight on the little one is when you long press from off- and it will run 22 days. almost 100 days straight with that case.
I have the Olight head torch. Had it almost 2 years. Its extremely bright and I keep it in my Ute. Its dead handy for repairs. It also has a clip so you can ount it somewhere off your head. Olight are a great company.
Someone’s been living under a rock for the last 10 years if they thought the Ryobi was as bright as a handheld flashlight could get 🤣 Flashlight technology has gone fairly advanced. Get yourself an Imalent MS18 flashlight, it’s 100,000 lumens, it’s meant to be the most powerful flashlight money can buy. It’s like £500 but it’ll pay for itself because videos about it always do well.
That flash light is insane, definitely worth the price

Torching with Tom
That is indeed not the moonlight mode. Turn the flashlight off then hold the button down and moonlight will activate. Also if you double click the button it activates turbo mode. Triple click the button it will strobe. So the little one has a total of 6 settings

OHHHH HE GOT THE SAME DEAL I GOT! Hahaha I love my Marauder 2! (Orange) and my red Baron 3. I just wish they would have released, and gave you the orange baton with the 3 with the orange marauder. Instead they released it like 2 months afterwards.

Moon light is press and hold from off. My baton 2 is great, even Olights keyring light is great and rechargeable.

Hey Tom we camp and night ride at turtons creek near Leongatha and I found a light from eBay solar storm x3 then you can mount them to a go pro mount and mount that to your helmet with a visit to the hardware store for a screw and some washers then look at b&b off road for a light bar mount they make them for a drz not sure about wr 250 then go to stedi or gemtec lighting for a light bar that comes with proper connections so no dodgy wireing I have a Rottweiler performance led head light globe my brother gave me worth 400 bux just some suggestions that are great idea and cheap I think rocky mountain atv have a vid on night rideing and there's a vid for the solar storm mounting to your helmet as well 👍
Check out the marauder mini. It’s basically the perfect light. Not edc but amazing for home, car, camp etc

Have an Olight myself and it's a great little flashlight, would recommend Olight to anyone wanting to buy a flashlight.
As a flashlight enthusiast Id steer clear of olight and go with other known brands such as nitecore, fenix, acebeam, astrolux, convoy or sofirn. Last 2 are very good budget options. Olights are known to have manufacturing defects and terrible beam color. Usually blue and terribly binned leds. Ive personally owned 4 and had 3 of them have some type of defect resulting in failure. Also with the other options or cheaper options you saving 100s of dollars along with getting a better interface and leds.
I agree olight are awesome. I have a collection of 15 and never had a single problem. Have a marauder 2 and it’s a beast

As a headlamp I use a olight perun2. I bought 2 they are amazing 2500 lumens
@Potassium Syndicate not very long due to overheating, but you would hardly ever need a 2500 output from a headlamp
I use mine to illuminate the ISS space station when it flies overhead :-)

The baton 3 has turbo as well if you double tap the bottom I think it's 1300 might be wrong but I have the marauder the edit " "baton 3"and perun 2 and seeker 2 coming today should be that the house by the time I get home pretty excited

Look up the story on Reddit about the olight. It’s brilliant, and now I want one. Just look up Reddit nuclear revenge flashing brights and it’s the first result. TLDR; guy kept flashing his brights and holding them on blinding OP in traffic because he was leaving space, and eventually he put the 14k lumen sun aimed out the rear window to blind him. A hilarious read, it’s beautifully written. Awesome review as well my man, I need one!! Prob gonna go with a more edc olight option before I get into the big leagues

The spotlight mode is pretty much useless. It reminds me of an old film projector right before it burns through the film. Terrible burned yellow / orange looking light. The flood however is awesome and one of the best floods I have ever used. Not sure why Olight went with a plastic lens instead of glass, NOT my favorite component of the light. Overall build quality however is excellent.

That orange torch is nice but the battery needs to last longer or be bigger. 5 minutes on full brightness is garbage also can it be plugged into 240v to remain on 24/7 full brightness and charge at the same time?
