I bought one and took it out for the first time last night. It definitely upped my game with illumination. It's not as amazing as described, but definitely a very good light. I have to say, it gave me even more appreciation for my 1500 lumen Olight Warrior Mini. I used the Marauder 2 for a good amount of time last night and it didn't lose brightness at all. Overall, I'm pleased, but I think the price should be a bit lower.

Originally I hated the square and wasn’t going to purchase this light...now that I’ve seen it in action I kinda like it

I like them.
All of the light goes to the beam and without the spill, you draw less unwanted attention.
Once people actually get one ‘in hand’ most of them will change their minds.

@@alexwilliams5234 I googled it and didn’t see any legitimate scam claims. If you were unable to purchase items because they were sold out, I feel that is a testimony to their quality products and the customer support behind them.
My wife wanted the Blue Marauder 2, however, the only color currently available (VIP Member) is the black. Thankyou Olight, I saved $244.00

Once again good job olight, you are listening to your customers! The video was short and sweet with almost all the info I want. I personally would like to know how long the different modes last before it ramps down. Like how long does the 14000 lumens last. It would also be a plus if in one of your videos you measure out a known distance in your reoccurring shots. Like show us someone measuring out a hundred yards in the alley at your facility you have used in at least 3 thrower videos I've seen. I think this is a much better way to promote a new flashlight then some animated short story. Keep up with the great progress Olight!

Now I understand the idea of a squere beam - thank you Sean! With this model Olight creates a slight advantage among the competition but i wish you offer more neutral white options. Still, amazing work, keep it up guys! Flashlight Enthusiast

@@alexwilliams5234 I have bought from them a dozen times and never had an issue. I’ve had a couple shipments take time because of Covid and getting to a flash sale late. I have also had EXCELLENT customer service from them. They sent me a replacement battery more than a year after buying a light, sent me six free refills for the open2 because the first set was disappointing, replaced the tail cap and battery on a three year old light after I shorted it out by accident, and all 11 of my lights from them dating back almost ten years still work as well as new. I’ve had one or two in my pocket every day for that entire time. Just another anecdote to add to your “scam” narrative.

Whats the run time at full power ?
I'd love to test that in my field for you... 300 yards to the tree line give or take... deer most nights in the field as my flashlight just picks up their eyes at 100-125 yards but I know there are deer further out but can't see them. With new batteries, I can see the trees in the distance but that's it.
Sounds like this is just what you need. It's a beast!
The flood is good, however, the square throw is terrible. It reminds me of the $15.00 Chinese flashlights being sold on Amazon.
Once you see it in person you will find it is incredible. When in spot light mode it is actually an extremely concentrated beam. The squareness I think is actually a clever idea but then again that’s just my opinion.
It really is an amazing light. The technology behind it is incredible and shows how Olight continues to improve.

@@olightscott90 how good is the magnet on that? I use my magnet on my s1r2 and it can stick to anything. How is it for the warrior mini?
It's actually pretty strong, I use the magnet allot to hang it.
I own this light, and while impressive, I do wish it had double the battery pack for extended use, or extended tubes, like the TK41. Still, nice light.
What kind of life do you realistically get when using the flood feature?
The square beam is odd imho. Wondered how they can't make em circle like normal throwers do!

See if you can put the camera in 'M' mode. Your f stop is making everything look the same after level 4 on the ight. Lock in ISO and Fstop, it will show better what you see in real life. Good video though, this light is very surprising for me as it's my first really "crazy" high lumen light.

I agree! Why get every one on these diamond levels and then not be able to EVER take advantage of the early VIP. But they are recruiting heavily to get us to share, share, share only to build up more diamond members eventually and then only to disappoint more of us down the road by not having any selection after the first 10 minutes. Then I saw a comment here wishing us luck during the regular sale day where thousands more are competing for what we should have had access to a week prior. Makes NO SENSE to me man!!

The engineering that was utilized during the making of this model was top notch one of the tightest beams I’ve seen to date

100 yards away? that like 90 meters. I can't see this spot hitting the 800 meter claims.
Don't worry...when Olight says it'll throw, it'll throw. I still have S9R intimidator and it hits every bit of 1000 meters.
@KnivesGunsLights a great explanation, i have a warrior mini and they claim to throw 190 meters, but can't get them. Also i have a i3t and i5t and they are almost the very same. 900 candelas vs 910 candelas, althought they are 180 lm and 300 lm but no real difference, i was very disappointment

@@alexwilliams5234 while it really is unfortunate that they have based themselves in China, it makes it hard to complain when you end up with an amazing product.
I myself haven’t had a single issue with any of my Olight flashlights and I have 8 total. That being said, I have only had them for a little over a year.
Sorry you haven’t had the same results, but they are a newer company. Sometimes it takes a little time to get your systems in place.
@KnivesGunsLights thanks for your kind explanation. Why do you think Maglite keeps making so low-lumen flashlights? does it have to do with the candelas too? What brand do you recommend? I want a good, reliable 1000 or so lumen flashlight that last long on turbo.

I’m going with the seasons bundle, I already have the x7r and the warrior turbo so I don’t really need the marauder 2. Saying that I already have 3 warrior minis🤣.
The square throw makes it seem like a cheap as seen on tv light not sure I would like that just seems odd but I’m sure it’s a nice light though maybe for 160 bucks sounds better
It’s actually one of the tightest beams produced there was a lot of time put into the production of this light and I think you just have to see it in person

The "new" website is marginally better. Got on within seconds of the VIP pre access sale. Had over $1000 in the cart and can't check out--inventory shortage....won't specify what the shortage is. Chat is on...bots only. No help. Figured it out. Any Ti or bundle with a Ti or Cu is already out of stock. Good luck everybody on any of the Ti Warrior Mini's or blue Marauders...they are all gone. All the non VIP's got COMPLETELY screwed this time for sure.

Same problem here man. I already knew what was going in my cart (30 seconds into the sale). Bam, everything in, check out and NOTHING. System froze up, kicked me out, useless BOT Chat that kept asking me to repeat myself for 10 minutes. All in all, 30-40 minutes of struggling.....SOLD OUT! WHAT A CONTINUAL B.S. experience these last few sales man. As VIP, I still get the scraps and nothing I want!

Olight Chris : I went ahead and bought one in early buy and received it today , must admit it is growing on me as far as the square goes but the flood is outstanding ... I'm not sure about the switch procedure to turn on so the jury is out on that part yet but over all I'm happy so far
I'm not sure I like that square throw setting or not. Logically it shouldn't make any difference whether it's round or square but there's something about it that gives me pause. But since I like weird stuff I will probably buy one anyway.

I love Olight I have like 25 lights from them but not a fan of square beams.
It’s really something to consider one of the tightest beams I’ve come across

Don't like it thought they would of done better that throw is terrable why are they not using xhp 70.2 and using it as throw and flood at same time tut tut
We utilized top of the line parts and materials in the making of this powerhouse of a light although maybe not futuristic but there’s always room for improvement and we all always trying to give the customers the latest in the industry
