50% Boost to attack & H.P. for them. I wish I oculd have used this yesterday, built up a like 16-20 charge on the house of Phanar too. I don't know if the 50% works for U.S.A.'s State Card boosting ville's attacks by 13 (I think) or with Canada's +18 attack - I think it did when I looked at it previously. But best to check.
If Sambi had the resources to revolt, French Revolution would have been a game changer. Sansculottes hard counter Caroleans and Dalkarl in ranged combat and they resist artillery fairly well, the combo with Dragoons would have forced opti to change composition

Oh man i remember old sweden. Pure carolean with some leather cannons was unbeatable, and if you survived age 2, they whould just go to age 4 with an insane eco and send infinite 4 mams to kill any skirms just like that. In tourneys there was always a sweden mirror, because in some maps it was straight up unbeatable

Phanar is great, you can save a stable and just go for a better huss at no pop cost for food and gold and the big button is great, easily one the best native posts in my eyes.

France 🥖 had *so* many low hp Dragoons.
Would have probably been worth it to get a Priest/Priests to heal 🏥 them up.
Especially versus Caroleans which are a soft counter, so the matchup can be flipped by healing. Dragoons have more max hp, so are more likely to have more heal-able damage on them at any time.
France 🥖 is also better in the late game (30+ min), as long as there are a lot of battles with trading units, because of how grindy its civ bonus and cards are.
People should try to give surgeons card a try, instead of wasting tons of resources on creating new units. I mean, I know it's a fast pased game and getting your units in one place of too long leaves your opponent with breathing room to boom. But with some particular civs getting one field hospital in the center of the map alongside a fort is an excellent investment. Civs like French or Indians with their elephants can save a lot of resources.
priests are always worth getting, the healing for armies gives insane value, normally people just do it for big hp units
@@lionheart9015 priest are good, but the area of healing is even better. But early on when player focus fire on units it may not be that useful.
@@ScudForEver it might be useful, but you're still sacrificing a card and resources if you got surgeons, when priests are good enough, no one will want to delay cards for better healing. Tempo is everything.

Always find this matchup hard with France. If I 12/10 and early agro Caro's are better early than musk hus, and when I try and boom swedes can outbboom with torps. Always curious about that one

I prefer not to build cav as france vs sweden, halbs, skirms, grens (with the church card) smash both carolean spam and hakka spam. You just have to adjust unit numbers accordingly and also mix some culvs in there just in case cause you will be full infantry. If you get to age 4 get more grens than skirms and you won't need heavies or falcs, so your factories gather pure resources and you outboom them.
