Dude I’m 32/33 bought the game in 2005 on my potato PC. Picked it up back up again over past few years since following your channel. Relationships and kids are great but so is Aoe 3. Parents were to cheap to buy the NTL internet but I smashed story and skirmish 😅

The main problem with the natives is they only go well as addition to your army, mainly when when you are desparately scraping the barrel to find some solution. Some of them exist to do one job, as caribs do with villager raiding, or vasa to just give you torps and big button. The problem with using them in combat is that by far not every of them is maya.

Exactly what this game needs, unique and cool builds that served as a decent attempt against one of the worst matchups in the game(for inca), very nice If only the community for the most experimental AoE game wasnt so resistant to change/trying new builds, we'd have more of these

The musketeer units from the European Royal Houses are some of my favorite units. Expensive, but powerful. The fact that Germany can pick one of them is awesome. I have seen SamuraiRevolution do a similar tactic but with the Habsburgian Line Infantry. They are almost as fast as Brunswickers, and their Stand Ground gives allows their Ranged attack to ignore Resistances. If you can mass them they can take on Dragoons and even small groups of artillery.

Even tho cigar89 deserves to be beaten for his arrogance, Barron did not deserve to win the game eather. To many bad choices and micro. Love this low(?) elo games.

Oh god how are light cannons so cheap... 400 resources for an artilery that does the job of culverin and heavy cannon with 3 speed, no need to pack/unpack. I know otto also have its share of op shit with sipahi and great bombards but how tf do you counter goon light cannon without some crazy revolt all in?

Actually Frontline made a lot of mistake on targeting the cannons, they hit too many times on the Spahis than they should. But it's all minor mistakes because he actually hit something rather than not shooting, which is good enough since both Spahis and Great bombard are harder to reinforce compare with cannons.

Light cannons should definitely be 2 speed, not 3. They'll still be faster than an unpacked culverin (1.4 speed) but not ridiculously faster like they are now. 400 resources is insanely cheap as well for what they are currently.

Reduce the speed of light cannon? & make only heroes give them aura to move faster? with speed upgrade HC cards?

As efficient as factory heavy cannon/bombard is, Haudenosaunee is the one civ you probably shouldn’t use that on. The engagement at the 30 minute mark is pretty solid evidence of that. Light cannon are just ridiculously strong. Probably do need a 2 range nerf but with some age 4 tomahawk anti cav and/or kanya artillery buff to compensate.

Is it just me or does it feel like Haud had to play perfectly and spend a great deal of sweaty micro to barely catch up and then beat the Otto player ? Which civ does well against Ottos now that I think about it ?
