I usually get mine at HomeGoods, when they are in stock. Also check Hobby Lobby, Michaels, or any other arts and crafts - they might have them, too. Appreciate your feedback!

The native moss looks like a lichen. Lichen is a symbiotic fusion of an algae and a fungi. Thank you for sharing your episcia experiment. I have the very same episcia variety, and it is struggling. Perhaps the leaves do not contain enough chlorophyll. I look forward to seeing how yours performs in the terrarium….I am ready to pitch mine.

That's pretty cool, I've never attempted to grow lichen before, thank you for helping identify it! I had the same experience growing another pink and green variety, Cleopatra - it refused to grow in open air, and did well in the bubble, so hope Unpredictable Helen survives with a little moisture boost. Could be the lack of chlorophyll, too - this one will be under LED lights, will see how it goes...

@@grayturtleviolets Yes! My wimpy little episcia is Cleopatra! I will try her in a bubble. Thank you for the demo. :)

Thank you! I use various sizes of plastic cups from local supermarket, drinking glasses, and also glass canning jars - got to be creative! :-)
