  • Episcia care and propagation. These are beautiful plants that deserve more praise. These plants like to stay warm. I try not to let mine go below 65 degrees. They also do not like any cold drafts or to be watered with cold water. I water mine with luke warm water, never allowing the soil to completely dry but only the top of the soil drying.
    Happy growing. 💜

    I'm new to plants. I got one on these with no label so it took a few days to figure out what it was but I love it. It's a cool looking plant. Thanks for the video. Can't wait to make another from the one I have

      @dannisorchidjourney I asked a local grower in the USA why they don't offer episcias and they said it's because they just don't sell. I personally love them.

      Hello there! 🌞
      Yes there are of the same family. I have found that the best way to go about buying any is to look online. They are such beauties and deserve more credit in the plant world. Lol😁 I hope soon you can find some. Happy growing. 💜

      Hello there. 🌞
      I do. It know their origin or what zones they grow best outside but I’m assuming warm climates since they hate anything to do with the cold. Happy growing.

    • @dannisorchidjourney
      @dannisorchidjourney  Před 3 lety

      I think the website called The Violet Barn carries them. Also just google Episcia for sale in US and some vendors should pop up for you. I’ve found all of mine shopping at a nursery called Hirts. They do have an online store.
