A tip from a flight attendant is to put your luggage in the bath tub at night while staying in a hotel. Also use those luggage shelf things too to keep your bags up off the floor. They hitch rides in luggage a lot.
My Lord, I am completely ITCHING all over my body and even on my scalp now. I remember going to an old ladies house (80+yrs old) and this lady handed me a bag full of towels to shower with. The room where I slept looked clean, however, when I showered that morning my neck started to itch. I decided not to wear my costume jewelry thinking that was the problem, 5 hours later i had all kinds of bumps on me and looked on Google to find it was bed bugs. I bagged up all my clothes tightly, threw them in my trunk, left her house, went straight to the laundromat & washed clothes in HOT water and dried them twice. I blocked the ladies calls and never want to talk to her again🤬. I had to buy calamine lotion, alcohol and all kinds of benderyl pills. Couldn't sleep, up all night with a flash light and was itching for 30 days straight even though doctors gave me prescriptions, smh, sooooo horrifying. I'm getting PTSD listening to this, smh

Had a similar experience while vacationing. Anytime I sleep at a hotel (even a Marriott)..I consider all my clothes pajamas etc as contaminated. Upon arrival at home..I leave my suitcase closed near my front door entrance or quarantined in the corner of my living room until I’m ready to wash.

You are a brave soldier, I did not know how bed bugs looked like. I got an upgraded truck and was excited only to find out they had some insects. It took me 3 days to figure it out that I was living with them and that they were bed bugs. I did not tell them, I simply started using chemicals and bombed my own stuff even washed like crazy, and they are still here. I now sent out an email, but it took me 1 week and 5 days to tell them, thinking I could fight it on my own. I am now exhausted and am waiting for what they will say.
I would suggest bagging your bag in a plastic bag and keeping it tied until you go in it, and then tie it back so if there's bugs they cannot get in your belongings

I had bedbugs once as well. I also become very leery of going to any hotel but I read that if you do not put your belongings on the bed or on the carpet, you should be fine. So hang you belongings on a luggage rack or on the floor in the bathroom. Clothes that you take off put in a plastic bag and wash immediately,
Oh my goodness!!i know your video was 3yrs ago but last summer my kids dad switched trucks for 2 weeks.he brought the truck home on fri after being gone for 2weeks.he showed me bites that were increasingly getting worse. checked his truck&found a dead one at the head of his mattress.i believe the truck got so hot from sitting in the sun that weekend.with him not running the air for 2 days it heated up enough to kill them.he quit getting bit after that.but now this is dec.& once again he has a diff truck,his is getting serviced.he came here fri.with bites all over&the mattress is full of them!!i wasnt home but i told him dont bring his stuff inside to put everything in garbage bags,even the matteress with duck tape around the middle.he replaced the mattress&sprayed the heck out of the truck.i got home& the garbage bag with the bedding in it was wide open on the porch his bag was behind my chair&he'd thrown the mattress over the fence outside my bedroom window!!i mean i dont get it what was he thinking!!my son drug the mattress to the curb but im sure they could find a way to the siding!.im praying so hard that i dont get them!!im furious!!its almost like he was trying to give them to me!!my son sprayed the side of the house but im just floored&shocked.

I understand not always can someone afford a hotel fee , but good idea to put back some $$ to cover at least a week of a “ nicer “ hotel to stay at , yea , it’s sad that these companies don’t put there workers in nicer places , because of this , and just so sleep quality is more positive experience, mannnn. ! I had to throw out everything, then the truck was fumigated and start fresh. Clothes, blankets, Everything. I even shaved my hair(s) off. I had no time to set everything out in the hot Sun and when I did try that -to hold on to some things, the critters were hiding. So, be careful there are bad people out there doing some nasty stuff to discourage women.

I have had them in my house from my husband's daughter running from house to house bring them to his house our bed those 6 month was a nightmare , it break up the fam for real because they only ate me. I was going to end my marriage behind it so yes I understand .

You need to be a certain height to be a police officer, life guard, fire fighter just to name a few Heck you can't get on certain rides at amusement park if your too short . The point is most short people can see tall people or objects as intimidating if they have to face them. She is a inspiration for all of shortness to not be intimidated by large objects or people .Her confidence and courage. to even consider controlling a big Rig a Ton of danger. the side mirror is probably half her size Lol..joking but she's a beautiful women in the big A@$ truck most of her size wouldn't even think of doing as a career on there own ..anyway happy 2022 new year.

And you probably off the truck already by the time you get this but make sure that you put dryer sheets underneath your mattress and inside your pillow and on top of your mattress bed bugs don't like that smell it runs them out of the mattress ... And I'm just telling you not to freak you out but do not take any of that stuff in your house please don't . I have had the experience to deal with bed bugs I got them from a rental car and they took over the house we had to throw away everything in the room and we had to get the whole house bombed and sprayed... So it's saying that just be wise not fearful but why .. and you will be missed .
