bought this for 20% off at TRU. LOVE this helmet. But, I'm still working on making it more comfortable. To get my eyes to line up really well with the lenses I had to remove the nose piece so my forehead is now what squeezes between the back to hold it on.

Great review.I love the faithfulness to the originals!Wouldn't expect more from the voice changer considering the price.Battery compartment aside this should be 501st approvable.But then again those people put their hearts and souls to their armors so i respect their decision.Btw do you feel "hidden" as far as the lenses go?I dont think they are very dim.
+Theodore Sikas to me the lenses are fairly good, I think it also is 501st approved, but take a look at the shadow trooper helmet, i reviewed that lately on my channel and the lenses on that are perfect, it is a nice chrome reflective and it's perfect, you can't see through them at all, make sure to subscribe man!

I'm glad it's not just me that's disappointed with the voice changer then. I was hoping maybe mine was duff but yours is the same. It's not the end of the world, it's a great quality helmet. It's sturdy as hell.

Rogue one helmet, you should put air fans either side and that way you get to hot wearing it .
Plus if you take out the vioce Changer and put a voice amplifier system and microphone headset that's cool.

I have an orginal hero storm trooper helmet from the ANH .bubble smoke grey lenses.
The upside is that if you jerk out the factory voice changer, you have plenty of room to install your own. Bondo that hideous battery pack on the back and touch up the paint and you have a QUALITY helmet.

So I just bought one of these at a yard sale today, and unfortunately the lady I bought it from tried to clean it with nail polish remover or something, which is super sad because it completely ruined the glossyness of it. It’s completely scuffed up and I was wondering if you had any idea what I should do to repaint it ya know!
So for that, you can buy 2K clear coat in a can, ebay usually has them, and do multiple thin coats at a time, but first you'll need to clean and mask all the areas you want to stay matted, after that your finished product should be even better, also highly recommended you spray this outside and wear a painting mask as it's very potent

Anyone recently who owns this helmet got issues on some sort of whitish thing growing on the rubber area on this helmet? Cause I'm having this recently, especially on the black stormtrooper helmet...and i dont know how to clean it up...like a fungal or something
Try putting petroleum jelly on it, or using a restorer for car rubber trim

Not the same piece, but rubber tends to dry and you'll need to refresh the trims, it's natural especially in dryer climates
