Starting using it in 2019. Despite no features as wi-fi, lcd touch, lcd flip, flash pop in, i choose it to be my first full frame dslr. Seems to be a great cam yet..

my 5D mk ii just arrived yesterday. I haven;t thought about cameras since we shot film. I also bought an 80 D about a month ago, but I am going to need a degree in 80D to learn how to get the most out of it. I can see right from the start that the 5D is going to be my main camera. I love its simplicity ! all the extras and frills didn't exist yet when it came out
@@anonymonachos7163 Hey, I did the same thing. Bought a 80d before and 5d after. It becomes my main camera. I have travelled carryng both and use most 5d mark ii. But be careful on lcd exposed. My glass tricked easily.

Richard On my canon 5d mk 2 when I press the AE lock button for exposure locking I don't see a light in the view finder. to indicate I have locked exposure. Has a setting not been applied by me.
It will only work in Aperture Priority, Shutter Priority or Program mode. Also that button can be reassigned in the customer function options so would be worth checking those also.

Thank you. You can check them via software called EOS Info.
Personally I don't worry about shutter counts these days, they will fail when they fail.
