  • The Canon camera that changed the world is without any doubts Canon 5D Mark II. So many innovations in such small package, Canon 5D Mark II is still a camera to rely on.
    With lots of samples and video tests, this the Canon camera that back 2008 changed the way we made content at the time.
    How good is Canon 5D Mark II today? Well...
    This is my review of Canon 5D Mark II

    I moved to mirrorless a few years ago but even in 2024, the pure expierence of photography that DLSR give you is still unmatched. I hope they never die.

    The job of a camera is to take photos. In that area, Canon 5DII is unbeatable even today.

      @@raduszilagyi6055 correct. I am purely a photographer, not a videographer. Therefore, even 5D Classic suits my needs fine. So, I retain these two gems for good.

      The additional focus points on the 5D III are welcome though. 200€ more and you get a much better pro camera. The Mark IV is still insanely expensive even more than the EOS R.

    Yes you're right day by day cameras are getting smaller and more powerful especially for video with 4k and 8k now but Im still holding onto my 5d2 as with a decent lens it can still keep up with most of the new gear photograph-wise... Legendary cam... Good review : )

    Just scored one with fewer than 100 shutter actions and spotless, new old stock. Can’t believe my luck!

    13:36 "If you're ready to give up comfort for a great result." That one line is worth the price of admission. Now you've got me second-guessing my entire kit! The 5D series is in a class by itself, tho, arguably the best sensors ever made.

      He's pressing the shutter on bulb mode, this way, mirror will be locked upwards, exposing the sensor as long as it keep pressed.
      Other way to do that is activating the manual sensor cleaning on menu.

    if u cant carry 5d then you are very weak or sick, why complain about carrying camera, especially for a young man

    • @YesterdaysTech
      @YesterdaysTech  Před 2 měsíci

      It has absolutely nothing to do with being weak or strong, young or old. If weight wouldn't matter, there wouldn't be a whole trend of making cameras lighter in weight. All companies from Canon to Sony, Panasonic and so on, are trying to make cameras less heavy and they don't do that for young weak people, but they do that because carrying a heavy camera when not necessarily, it's completely useless. Carrying a big heavy camera shouldn't make a photographer to feel stronger or better. Such cameras were large and heavy because technology couldn't achieve such performance in a smaller, lighter body
